What guests think

Across hundreds of reviews, Comfort Inn & Suites is praised for its easy highway access, generally clean and spacious rooms, and friendly staff, but recurring comments mention dated decor, maintenance wear, occasional noise, and intermittent TV or Wi-Fi problems.

Breakfast is included and often described as good, though several guests report a crowded, small dining area and limited options. Facilities such as the pool and hot tub exist but are frequently cold, slippery, or in need of repair; EV chargers on site are appreciated. Overall, expect a convenient stopover with solid basics and some aging features.

Property is very clean. Staff are friendly and breakfast is good. Parking spaces are very tight if driving a truck or Suv. As we travel with a pet, the $50.00 pet fee is a bit steep and is higher than similar motels.

Internet and tvs were down for the 4 nights we were here. Yes we got a discount but we had to use our data and when we had long days it would have been nice to have the tv to watch. Very disappointing. The pool was super cold and dirty and the hot tub like warm and dirty. Would not stay again.

Clean and quiet room. Convienient for dining and has a grocery store by its side so nice to pick up any forgotten items. My only complaint is the pool room...the floor is extremely slippery, ..in fact all three of us fell at some point while we were there. The bar in the shallow end to walk into the pool is very wobbly and not stable and the hot tub was not working.

The room was separated with a door (a nice surprise!) between the "master bed" and the living room with the sofa bed, so it was ideal for a family of four! My kiddos even stayed in bed longer than they usually do! Win! Our room was very nice, clean and spacious, but the pool area was extremely dangerous with ceramic floors all around. We even wondered if that was legal!! With the kids, even just walking around ("Don't run!!") ended up in a couple falls on the bum - could have been worse... It would be much safer to have some tiles of a rougher surface around the pool itself.

I have been going to this hotel for the past 15 years because of the location, kids friendly, free breakfast and the rooms are great. Just spent 3 nights and couldn’t understand why they didn’t want to open the second room for breakfast the first day when I asked and there were no place to eat the first day but got lucky and someone gave me a table. By the end of my breakfast they decided to open the second room. The following morning was busier it was closed and I asked nicely but this time what seemed to be the supervisor was rude and they didn’t want to open it without a reason. Everyone had to go eat in their room (no convenient for a party of 4). When I passed by later when it was closing it was magically open again. The third morning it was open for the get go? I guess I was not the only one complaining! That supervisor has no place in a client service job if you ask me.

The drink machine only took Canadian money. The 30ish manager on duty was very rude when we asked "if we we give you $3.00US can you give us $2.00 Canadian?" He rudely said " US money was useless.Haven't you been watching the news about your stupid President?" Even when we explained that US was 100.to Canadian 75. He refused so we were unable to buy water. I'm sure there was probably bottled water for restocking available but he didn't offer any. That's not how you treat people.

Beautiful hotel, loved the room, comfortable and clean, quiet. Pool was great, clean! We didn’t use the hot tub but I did look and can tell you it was quite clean as well. Breakfast could have been better - scrambled eggs were watered down or possibly boil-in-a-bag variety. No cream for coffee-milk was the only choice. Still using disposable utensils and plates - so much more eco-friendly to use washable kitchen-wear.

The property is nice and the rooms nice, clean and comfortable. However, despite I requesting a quiet room, away from elevators and on a top floor, they gave me the opposite. They should be more attentive to guests requests if they want them back. On the other hand, the breakfast was nice and varied but the sitting area is insufficient for the amount of guests attending breakfast. I had to go to my room to eat it. They shoulod expand the sitting area.
