Across recent reviews, Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Orillia stands out for exceptionally friendly staff, very clean, modern rooms, and a complimentary breakfast that many guests call one of the best for this hotel category.

The location is convenient to the highway, shopping, restaurants and a cinema, with Casino Rama and Mount St. Louis within driving distance. The person at the front desk was very friendly and helpful! The room and facility were clean and well stocked. Even though we stayed there (3 people in 3 separate cars), during a bad snowstorm, we all found enough parking and the walkways were always clear

Probably one of the nicest hotels at which we've ever stayed. Excellent everything from the free breakfast, staff friendliness and helpfulness, comfort and cleanliness. A 10 everywhere except one. I like a hot tub and I phoned the hotel directly prior to booking and when directly asking their employee if the hotel had a hot tub I was told YES! My wife and I were very disappointed!

We only stayed one night. The check in was fast and courteous. Room was very clean and equipped with ironing board and iron hairdryer fridge and microwave. Staff greeted you with a smile. I was not impressed with the pool. We weren't there long enough for that to be an issue for us. I would go back

Our stay good! It’s was comfy and clean. We did our ritual scan through and check. When checking the beds we found food behind them. No big deal but maybe check behind things. Then go have a shower to not find out there’s 2 shampoos and no body wash. Well wash with shampoo it is haha! When telling the clerk to make sure they change that she says “ why didn’t you call us”. I said “ call you from the shower “. I was t getting out to request that. She said she couldn’t do anything for me as the manager wasn’t in.

Great breakfast selections. Friendly staff. Two elevators so never a wait. Quiet area far enough away from highway. Things that could better, coffee is weak and no hot chocolate. Competitors have nice fancy all in one machines that you can brew a strong coffee or hot chocolate. Hotel is fairly new yet already stains in bathroom tile grouts and shower. Snow removal started at 6-6:30am and was loud with a room on the 5th floor (windows are not very insulated). Hallways are brightly lit yet rooms are dark with just one overhead light. More pot lights are needed. Location is not very friendly for towing or commercial vehicles, narrow side street with very tight corners, not easy to navigate for such an undeveloped spot/space. Overall a beautiful hotel but short on value.

It was good! Front desk guy was great and nice but very much joking about everything and made it weird. He also said to not book through Expedia and to ensure I do my research, very much brought up Expedia many times which made me feel he looked down on us for using the service. Also, TV’s in room suck there is a delay from remote to TV of about 7 seconds, very annoying. All in all, good I guess, compared to the rest of the city, probably on the best side.

The property was very nice. The desk staff were awful. When we arrived and were unloading our luggage a desk staff came out and told us that the luggage trolley were for guests only. We had not checked in yet so we were not guests! When I returned after checking in I heard him apologizing to another guest. He gave us a Starbucks cold coffee to apologize m. Not accepted and not staying here ever again. Just rude!
