Overall the unit was very clean and well located. Easy to find and having subway access in the building is incredible. Checking in is like being a part of an escape room challenge. The instructions are very clear but it is a bit complicated. I took a star off because it was a bit unclear and I did have to make a phone call to even receive check in instructions. Also be aware that if you are travelling alone, getting your car out of the parking garage on the final day is a challenge because you have to leave your key fob in the room therefore you won’t actually be able to get down to the parking garage to get your car.

I loved how nice the property was, including all the amenities. Any time something was wrong, Globalstay was quite responsive. There were some broken appliances including the coffee maker and the dishwasher shelf and several kitchen supplies missing when we checked in, and it was a little frustrating to have gotten a noise complaint while we were checking in and unpacking, however Globalstay was quick to respond and brought us everything that we needed! Lastly it was quite difficult to travel with a family, including different genders with just one key, as we had to always stay together and it was difficult to use amenities in the different gender locker rooms at the same time, which require key access (would need at least 2 keys). Regardless, we definitely would recommend staying with Globalstay!

The lock boxes in the hot garage are close to impossible. No front desk support. The outdoor pool is tiny. The indoor pool is a jacuzzi - not a pool at all. The 3rd bedroom was a closet off the entrance with a curtain to close it off, a cot, and no air conditioning vents.

Parking is a bit confusing but once you get in and find the keys, you are good to go. Be careful which way you exit into the parking garage upon leaving, if u go out the wrong door, you will have a bit of a walk to get back in and down to your car. Other than that, the stay was very comfortable and worth the money.

The condo was as advertised. It was clean and all the amenities were provided in the condo. I did not have time to explore the pool or gym. North York is an excellent neighborhood/location. There were numerous good food choices - - especially Asian ones, and the subway stop was below the building. Someone from Globalstay is not at the property when you arrive. But the instructions to retrieve the key and fobs were reasonably clear [with photos], and I was able to check-in after hours without issue. There was a homeless man sleeping in the garage between the doors so be careful. I was initially a little leery when communications were via WhatsApp, and I needed to place a $200 CAD deposit via PayPal after paying through Expedia. However, everything worked out, and Globalstay refunded my deposit in 7 days after assessing there was no damage to the condo. I have relatives in the area and would return. I have also recommended Globalstay to other family members as a great option.

Getting in and out of the hotel is a hassle if you have a vehicle. You need to find somewhere to leave your vehicle, than go into the building, take the elevator down to parking, pick up your keys, exist the building and then go park your vehicle. To check out you need to do the same however once you take your car out of the parking lot you have to bring the keys back to the room. If you have time constraints this place is not for you. The room was nice however cleaning didn't check what need to be restocked. We had an empty box of Q-tips.

Instructions for check in were inaccurate to some degree and qr code didn’t work in parking garage(no cell service). Beyond the rigamarole, clean comfy place. Check out was less of a hassle (simply leave keys on kitchen table) but then parking level was not accessible from elevator. It’s a long way to walk to car when you’re hauling a bunch of stuff by yourself.

we arrived later then we expected due to unforseen circumstances, so the only thing missing from the check in instructions was the code to enter the building on yonge street to access the elevator to get down to the parking garage and retrieve the keys from the lockbox. we had to call the concierge to let us in after proving the other instructions we had to enter. i would say the parking situation is a bit difficult. i imagine if u were on your own with a car parked inside 2 anndale building, once u put back the key in the lockbox in the yonge street building there is no way to enter back into the 2 anndale parking lot without a fob to retrieve your car. based on the reviews from others this is the most difficult annoying part of the stay. Other than that everything was great!

This was my first GloblalStay stay and so the model was a little of a mystery and took some work to figure out its unique rules. I did eventually get on track. It's a great bargain compared to the other options I was looking at in Toronto. The place was immaculate and the ability to park in the building was a plus. The kitchen was useful. Everything I needed was there. Plus a balcony! Great value.

The process to get entry was very complicated as it was a quick turnaround on my end. Upon entry to the condo the place was a complete mess! Floors, counters, bathrooms dirty (faeces still smeared in the toilette), beds in-made laundry in the washer and dryer (sheets in washer smelled bad)! I refused to stay and demanded my money back. After a few emails funds have been returned.

DO NOT BOOK WITH GLOBALSTAYS. They are a scam. Disgusting!!! Upon arrival I noticed that the bed sheets had bloodstains and dirt/blood stains on the duvet. I took photos and sent it to their email the next morning. I also found MOLD on the shower curtain. A day later I start noticing I have bed bug bites. Following that day I am covered in bed bug bites. I tried to request my money back and they refused. Luckily Expedia deemed this unit unlivable and relocated me to a hotel near by. At the end of my stay I got an email from GlobalStays and they charged me $80 for the stained bed sheets and duvet!! DO NOT STAY HERE.

This was by far the WORST rental experience I’ve ever had. There’s absolutely NO communication, no concierge, no person to talk to, just cold, useless texts. They give zero instructions. You’re left to dig through hundreds of lockboxes just to find your keys. Once I got in, the place was filthy. The toilet was clogged, and when I contacted them, they told me I had to fix it myself! The bedsheets, blankets, and pillows were covered in stains and again, they told me I had to change them myself because the clean ones were sitting in the dryer. That’s disgusting. No one had even inspected the place before handing it over. I couldn’t even stay a full hour i left immediately and booked a hotel. This place is a joke and should be removed from Expedia. DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY.

We had such a wonderful stay here! Check-in procedure was very clearly outlined and easy to follow, the condo was very clean and well-equipped with anything you might need, and there is direct access to the TTC. Our only complaint is that one of the mattresses was a bit too firm for our liking. We would absolutely stay again!

The layout of every room is beautiful. It is a spacious and comfortable place to stay in. We also noticed how safe the building is. The balcony is big and wraps around the condo which is nice. There were a few things that could be improved like the lighting could be brighter in the bathroom and in the living room. There is also a lack of mirrors (full length mirror) but overall we really enjoyed our stay as it is a very nice condo.

Pros: This is a whole 2-bedroom apartment, with a kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Convenient location, walkable neighbourhood. Cons: The apartment is not in great condition, with scratched walls and furniture. Additionally, the bathroom exhaust fans were broken (we messaged the company, but they did not fix them). Most importantly, the company itself is pretty sketchy. They ask for a deposit through PayPal (it was returned a week after the stay), they tried to charge me for the free parking and I had to email back and forth until they realized it's listed as free on this site, they charge for each extra person (the listed price is only for 1 visitor, even though the apartment sleeps 6). And you also only get 1 key, which is required to leave the apartment. So when one person goes out, the other one is stuck inside. Extra keys have a separate cost.

Beds are comfy and the bathroom size is good. 3rd bedroom—- Although it states that there are 3 bedrooms, there are 2 bedrooms with a queen bed and 1 bedroom with just a twin bed and curtain right by the entrance. WE just used the 2 rooms. NO BALCONY—---There is a balcony but it does not open. After many messages back and forth the management company sent someone to look at it. The person basically said there was no way to get it opened unless you changed the entire door. WE had booked this place specifically for the balcony. NO Oven- kitchen had a good amount of glasses (regular and wine), plates and coffee cups. We tried to heat some pizza in the oven and that did not work. The microwave and stove work. Parking– In order to first access the key lockbox, one must go through the public parking space or 1 person go inside of the building while the car waits outside. Instructions were not clear The management company did not clarify that there are 2 parking structures in the same building. We parked in the public parking side and therefore had to pay for parking. Only After getting the key from the lockbox, can you access the residential parking. Overall this is okay, not great because of all the issues we had.

This apartment is lovely and well maintained on the whole. However, the main bedroom mattress is terrible and needs replacing. My husband and i slept poorly. The 3rd bedroom is really an alcove with a twin bed but suited our purposes. the GFI plugs in the bathrooms did not work and the ensuite bathroom shower wall had mold in the grout. the unit was so hot and despite us lowering the heat it did not cool down, it actually got hotter. The balcony and the view were quite nice.

The instructions are very clear but it is a bit complicated. I took a star off because it was a bit unclear and I did have to make a phone call to even receive check in instructions. Also be aware that if you are travelling alone, getting your car out of the parking garage on the final day is a challenge because you have to leave your key fob in the room therefore you won’t actually be able to get down to the parking garage to get your car.

The property is not bad but check in was a nightmare. They do not respond when u call them, my elderly mom and I were stuck in the underground parking trying to find the locks and we could not get back to the elevators so we were basically locked in the hot mess, since the doors to elevators were locked without the fob. After much waiting ans asking around i finally found the locks but the one for the apartment has faded numbers. Do not rely on the instructions and photos, they are outdated and do not work. Finally we got upstairs, the apartment is for 6 people, my brother was going to visit to pick up me and my mom and so i added him and they charged me extra. The apartment is not very organized, there are sheets all over, not folded properly, and there are multiple confusing instructions. The location is good but property management team is not good to my opinion. Unfortunately i have to rate this stay very poor.

Hard to get communication due to no host or staff at there. Small problem happens about parking entrance because of key battery power out. So we need pay to park at same place. I will not recommend this place. No solution for problems if happens.

Once there we couldn’t find where we needed to park. Then when we were ready to leave we left the keys in the apartment as it asks and we were locked in a small area near parking and needed the keys to open any door. There was a lack of communication and poor directions and when we tried to call every single number, nobody picked up. Check out was 11. We were out by 9:30 and there was nobody to answer any of our call calls with the buttons on the walls.. was a terrible experience honestly. But the bed was comfy but the bed was comfy and we did have a good view. But that alone was not worth the money.

The condo itself was excellent. Very clean and comfortable. They are also very responsive to phone and email, and were helpful anytime I reached out. It loses 1 star because the check in process is awkward - having to find a key in a lockbox in the basement, and because the security deposit must be paid online using paypal or etransfer.

Great Location and Really nice Property on 3rd floor (Apt 302)... The nutty deposit situation where you have to send money via Paypal with a picture of yourself holding ID is a pain and the Checkin procedure with lock-box in the Basement are a pain, but didnt distract from what was a very pleasurable stay.

The condo was as advertised. It was clean and all the amenities were provided in the condo. I did not have time to explore the pool or gym. North York is an excellent neighborhood/location. There were numerous good food choices - - especially Asian ones, and the subway stop was below the building. Someone from Globalstay is not at the property when you arrive. But the instructions to retrieve the key and fobs were reasonably clear [with photos], and I was able to check-in after hours without issue. There was a homeless man sleeping in the garage between the doors so be careful. I was initially a little leery when communications were via WhatsApp, and I needed to place a $200 CAD deposit via PayPal after paying through Expedia. However, everything worked out, and Globalstay refunded my deposit in 7 days after assessing there was no damage to the condo. I have relatives in the area and would return. I have also recommended Globalstay to other family members as a great option.

Terrible Experience: Unable to get ahold of anyone (email, phone calls, and virtual message) to proceed with check-in. We stucked outside the building for 2 hours. No access to our apartment after 13hours of driving. We have no choice to book another hotel the same day with way higher fee. They refused to give back our refund after the cancellation.

The stay was good however there’s not a full length mirror, but a lot of wall space to put one. Seems crucial for a rental. Also the blinds are not blackout in the bedrooms so be prepared to wake up early. Otherwise it was a good stay.

I booked this property after reading all the 10 ratings. That's a joke. Non of the door in the apartment close properly. Dryer was full of wet towels and bedsheets that we need to end up drying separately and folded ourselves. Check in process was very confusing and no one was at the lobby of the property. I definitely would never book this property again.
