What guests think

At Home2 Suites By Hilton Cookeville, guests consistently praise very clean, modern, suite-style rooms with kitchenettes, friendly and helpful staff, and a convenient location near I-40, restaurants, and shops, plus practical apartment-style layouts.

Recurring complaints focus on road noise and thin walls that make neighboring rooms and hallway sounds noticeable. Breakfast feedback is mixed: some applaud variety and friendly attendants, while others report crowded service, items running out, lukewarm food, or limited choices. Best suited to travelers prioritizing space and easy access over absolute quiet or a standout breakfast.

Home 2 has excellent facilities. A front patio with a working gas fire pit welcomed us. The rear entrance has another seating area with a small putting green nearby. The hotel is conveniently located off I-40 with several restaurants and shops nearby. Rooms are clean and spacious. The kitchenette was excellent, dish soap included. Bathroom has plenty of supplies, more amenities than a typical hotel.

This is a new build in the area and we absolutely loved it! The place was very clean, the beds were comfy and the pool was clean! The mini golf course in the back was icing on the cake we didn’t know they had. My kids 4 & 2 loved it!

Our stay here was great and the staff were friendly. The property was well maintained. The bathroom was spotless. The carpets were definitely vacuumed but probably in need of shampooing. Our toddler’s knees and feet were dirty after playing on the floor of our room. Breakfast was good - no child seats and not many dairy-free options. We would stay here again.

Very comfortable stay, very clean and staff was very courteous and polite. The amenities in the bathroom are convenient and they give lots of towels in various sizes. There is a lot of loud traffic being near the highway but you are also conveniently located to a large variety of food options. Definitely would recommend.

The room was very clean and spacious, I have no complaints there. The problem is the rooms are not at ALL soundproof, not only did it sound like the nonstop traffic outside was happening right in our room, but also we could hear every footstep in the room above us. We were not the only people complaining about the noise either. That part made me not really want to stay there again. We could hardly sleep

We had a suite which I found to be enormous. There was a clever table on wheels that tucked in at the desk to save space and an easy to move ottoman for the couch. The bed was comfortable. I wish it had had a stove, but other than that, it was a good stay. I definitely had to wear earplugs at this location due to traffic day and night. The breakfast was good, but nothing special, except for the freshly made yogurt, which was delicious.

Giving this one four stars. The rooms are excellent with a separate bedroom (with separate bathroom access) a small kitchenette including fridge/freezer/microwave. The only downside was on our departure morning; they ran out of breakfast. The only food available was waffles and cereal. They eventually got caught up, but it was baffling that they could run out of everything all at once.

Housekeeping was a disaster. They clean every 2 days. We arrived Friday. They picked up and made beds Sunday. On Tuesday at 4 the room hadn't been cleaned yet. We had to do to the front desk and ask them to clean. We were put out while they cleaned. Thursday was supposed to be a full turn down. The house keepers didn't clean and even went so far as to put a do not disturb sign on our door!!!! Also unrelated to the specific hotel but booking through orbits will not get you hilton points. We stayed 7 nights so this very annoying to not get the points.

This hotel was right in the middle of so many chain restaurant dining options and convenient to I-40. We like Home2 Suites because of the room layout so my teen daughter can have her own space in the \'Living room" pull- out sofa while my teen son takes the bed near the window. And the closet, long desk area, pull-out dining table and kitchen make Home2Suites perfect for our family of 4. I also liked the lobby lounge area with tables and chairs and charging ports. The Cookeville Home2Suites was perfect for us!

Our stay was great! We took the weekend to get to know the area where our son is going to college. It was right in the middle of everything so plenty of dining options! Very clean and had all the amenities of home!! Only reason why I did not give a perfect score was the traffic from the main road In front of the hotel was loud at night (not really something the hotel themselves can control, it’s just a very busy area) and the breakfast was just ok.
