Across the reviews, Comfort Suites Cookeville is frequently praised for friendly staff, clean, spacious rooms, and a convenient location near the interstate, while common drawbacks include a repeatedly closed or unheated pool and occasional unpleasant odors.

Breakfast is simple and generally well liked, though some found the coffee poor or machines down. Guests note occasional room issues such as worn sofa beds, broken fixtures, or noisy A/C, and some areas feel dated. Expect a comfortable stop with basic amenities, but confirm pool status and room condition.

The whole reason I booked the hotel was the indoor pool for my kids and when I checked in I was told that it was in fact closed for repairs. My kids and I are not happy.

I specifically booked this hotel because it had a pool. The pool was closed. The front desk informed us if we wanted to swim we could walk to the hotel next door to swim. Had I known the pool was closed, I would not have made a reservation at this hotel.

The beds very comfortable. Plenty of room. I guess the only thing is the caulking that’s around the tub had some mold in it and it’s time for them to replace that caulking and put new caulking in that room. But overall, I still rate this a 7.5

The room was very spacious and comfortable. Nice seating area, and very comfortable beds. A quiet area with the highway farther from the hotel. The check in was easy, and the TV had enough channels for what we needed. Bathroom was spacious and clean. Plugs all worked, which is important on the road. Breakfast was simple but well stocked with the basics and enough to get us back on the road. Convenient location with free parking.

We stayed two night in two different room 302 and 304. 302 had no fan in bathroom and hair in tub. Refrigerator didn’t get cold. Room 304– no bathroom light , needed to take bath , you couldn’t cause the tub wouldn’t catch water. When we called the front desk , they did nothing except say ok. Hair all over sides of shower walls, MOLD on the shower curtain. Had to walk with socks and shoes cause dirt on floor. Hot water barely got hot. 2 people stayed and yet we one one set on towels. Yes we asked for another room but was told they were full. We seem no one at our end of hallway! So much for 8.3 rating.!
