Location wasn't bad. Parking is limited and very tight. Room was surprisingly clean. Sign in room says they will charge you $90 for taking the alarm clock, but the room doesnt have one. Hopefully they dont charge me. Water in shower drained VERY slow. I was ankle deep in no time. Shampoo contianer was empty. Slept well and AC worked well. Would return.

The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. Our fridge with freezer was larger than a bar fridge and smaller than a regular fridge. It was nice having more freezer space than a bar fridge. Staff are friendly. Facility felt safe. Beds were comfortable which was appreciated. There is also a coin laundry room and a deck on the upper level with tables and chairs...plus an outdoor pool.

We needed a place to stay last minute. Was looking for clean and safe. This hotel was perfect. The beds were comfortable. The blankets and towels were clean. The water was hot. It had a microwave and refrigerator. Cute little Mickey table. We felt safe in the parking lot. Only negative thing I can think of is, we had to take stairs to the second floor. No elevator. And there was a hole in the bathroom door. But nothing major, totally worth the price!!

Highly Recommended for a Great Stay We had a great experience during our one-night stay at this hotel on October 19. The receptionist was very nice and professional during the check-in process, which made for a pleasant start. The room was quiet and very clean, and it was clear they are strict about maintaining a smoke-free environment, which we appreciated. One small note—while the room was well-equipped, we could have used a bit more soap and shampoo. It wasn’t a big issue, but something to keep in mind. From the moment we arrived at Magic Key, we knew we had made the right choice. The pricing was so competitive that we were unsure how the condition would be but the room was clean, the shower was incredible, the lighting fixtures and easy plug in for chargers was terrific, and most magical of all - we arrived from a long drive to find THE BEST taco truck out front. Check in and check out were easy and the professionals we encountered were kind. Views were also lovely as the sunset was excellent and a tree covered in Spanish moss and lovely palms dotted the property.

The room was roomy and had a comfortable bed. Our room also had a mini fridge & a couch which allowed me to lay out my clothes for each day. The drawback was the bathroom. It just smelled wet all the time with slight mold in the corners of the shower. Another positive is that they use Dove hair products & it was a walk in shower. Last but not least the front desk gentleman (both) where extremely kind.

The bed is very comfortable, however we had issues with weak plumbing (toilet clogged multiple times.) Also didn't expect to encounter a hotel where vaping isn't allowed in the rooms so if you vape you probably don't want to come here. The floor was FILTHY, I know that's common in hotels but it really shouldn't be and this was definitely the dirtiest floor I've had in a hotel room in a long time.

There was a roach on our bed when we walked in our room, and they wouldn’t give us a refund, a partial refund, or allow us to change rooms. The woman next to us in the lobby had the same problem and they wouldn’t refund her either, so we both ended up leaving with no rooms for the night. Ridiculous, and terrible customer service.

The floors were disgusting. I walked around bare foot for about an hour and the bottom of my feet were black..I bought clorox wipes because I thought I was crazy but I wiped the floor and it came out black. Staff was lovely and and patient.

We had a booked a room “standard double room, two queen beds” but the beds were definitely doubles and not queens. We booked as 4 guests (3 adults and a 1 year old) and got charged an extra guest fee of $10…not sure why because in every hotel I have ever stayed at you can put 4 people in a 2 queen room. Finally I’m unsure why this is called a “resort” because it looks like a typical motel not even a hotel. The rooms were clean and it worked for a quick overnight stop for us.

I was very disapppinted when I went to the desk to ask for an additional towel and was told a flat no. (Our room had two women and only two towels. ) I understand placing only two in the rooms but when a guest makes the effort and walks down to the desk to request an extra one, I feel a reputable place would honor that. I’ve never had this experience in all the years I’ve traveled anywhere. Disappointing.

This was an amazing stay!! We were staying here after a week at Disney and it continued our amazing vacation. I loved how close it was to Disney and so many other things on the main road. The room was clean and very comfortable. There was a sanitation wrap on the blankets and I could tell everything was kept up with very well. The service was great and we were greeted as soon as we arrived on the property. When our room key wasn’t working, they wasted no time in ensuring that we never had a problem with it again. Checkin and check out were extremely easy. I’m always hesitant with hotels because it’s hard for me to feel safe, but the amazing light in the parking lot and the secure lock on the door made me feel so secure. Being right off Irlo Bronson I expected it to be loud, but it was so quiet, you can hardly tell you’re right off a busy road. Definitely will stay again!!!

Great experience in a nice hotel for a very reasonable price. Friendly and helpful 24hr front desk people. Will definitely be returning for our fourth and more visits. Room and shower is the quality of a much much more expensive hotel room.

The room was nice, smelled great, and the beds were comfortable. Check in was smooth. I only gave 4 stars because the hotel rules were a little over the top. I understand rules are important, but having them posted so often made me feel like I was going to forfeit my $200 damage deposit if I touched anything. I did get it back, but after reading so many bad reviews online, I did ask for my room to be inspected before I left the property. I was told, rather rudely, that inspections are not possible while guests are present. I think that is unreasonable . It is a nice place, but it was not relaxing for me.

I arrived early afternoon and the staff would not permit check in until 4pm. I asked for a first floor room - but was told by 2 people at front desk no first floor rooms were available - yet 5 hours later it seems most rooms at 9pm are vacant on both first and second floor. Hotel is ok for the price but not even a coffee maker in room.

Great room for a reasonable rate. It's an older property, well maintained. Shopping is very near, the parks and MCO are within 20 miles. The proprietor is invested in a good experience for those who stay. Much better than the corporate room pimps - and no Section 8!

From the moment we arrived at Magic Key, we knew we had made the right choice. The pricing was so competitive that we were unsure how the condition would be but the room was clean, the shower was incredible, the lighting fixtures and easy plug in for chargers was terrific, and most magical of all - we arrived from a long drive to find THE BEST taco truck out front. Check in and check out were easy and the professionals we encountered were kind. Views were also lovely as the sunset was excellent and a tree covered in Spanish moss and lovely palms dotted the property.

So for the price you can’t beat it, to be honest I was a bit sketched out staying here and not at a normal hotel at first. However, everything was fine- the staff was nice and check in/out was easy. This isn’t the Ritz, but for the price and proximity to Disney it’s worth it. Also there’s food trucks in the front lot that were there late after we got back from the parks, great for food after Disney!

Honestly if you are looking for a quick stay to enjoy the parks with your family this is the place for you! There are stores like Target, Marshall’s right across the street for quick shopping and so many options for dining too! The hotel was very comforting. Definitely will be staying again!

This was the best find in Orlando! Inexpensive only 20 minutes from sea world. So convenient to old town with restaurants shops and amusements. If you are nearby you must go to crazy mason milkshake bar. It's delicious. Magic key even has a little patio area where you can watch the sunrise

Given the ridiculously low price for this hotel I was expecting not much but what a pleasant surprise this hotel is clean efficient just an absolutely awesome stay with would choose this hotel over the other high price hotel in the area for sure.... 5 Star

We went with a group of 7. We had a nice service by bilingual staff and they even helped us out when one of us forgot his bag with his passport in the Uber. The place is cleaning and quiet. No noise to disturb your sleep.
