The room felt very small. The bathroom door was broken at the sliding bottom and had cracks so not really any privacy. The bathtub was TINY, my 12 year old could barely fit in it and he is not a big kid. The pool looked muggy and could use an update for sure. The breakfast was good, but could use more options. The snack store could have been better stocked. The fridge was so tiny it couldn’t even hold a to go box. The staff was great!

The fridge in our room wasn’t cold. The floor had stains on the carpet. There needed to be more pillows or at least bigger. Beautiful and comfortable pergola outside to relax and read and watch-overlooking a water sports area. Excellent location for surrounding food establishments.

The hotel was nice. It is in a great location. However, we did have issues with our room. The sliding door, that covered the closet and slid over to be used as a door for the restroom, came off the track and started falling over. It almost hit my husband in the head, but my son and husband were able to catch it before it crashed onto the wall. We reported it to the front desk, and they said there were not any maintenance people at the hotel at that time who could fix it. They said they could fix it the next day. That actually did not do us any good, because we were only staying one night. It was quite inconvenient because we did not feel comfortable taking a shower or using the restroom without a door. We used the public restroom in the lobby. Also, the carpet was very damp and when it dried on our feet, it was very sticky. When we walked on it with our shoes on and then walked on the tile, our shoes were sticking to the floor. Another issue was the door to the pool. It would not open with the key card. Someone from the front desk had to use a card, and the door would stick making it challenging to open.

Staff was great. Very friendly and accommodating. Hotel and rooms were very clean, quiet, and updated. The pool was closed for "servicing" so unfortunately we were not able to ejoy this particular amenity. Our only issue was that our room on the 4th floor was a bit too warm even though the air was running all night. I would stay here again.

We have stayed at this location several times over the years. We were shocked to see a price of over $300 a night for our stay in May 2023. It is an easy location off the interstate and use to be top notch for the money. This stay we were blown away. The bathroom had a previous major water leak and the repair looked awful. One of our wash clothes had something sticky on it with a hair in it. There was a towel that had body hair in it as well. The floor by the trash looked to not have been vacuumed either. This is not typical of a Hampton Inn but it is getting older and that area has a lot of travelers. We would not stay again here for the price point per night. It did not meet the standards to charge that amount.

Room was very dirty. Toothpaste in the sink, mold in the shower, hair on the sheets. Bar sink faucet was very loose and broken. Window shade was broken and would not open. Toilet seat was broken and loose. Droppings in the corners of the room.

Hotel is (or seems to be) brand new.. Rooms very clean, new and well decorated; friendly helpful staff. I didnt stick around for breakfast so no comment there. Chick Filet next door. Bonus is that my room overlooked the waterski park! Will definetly stay again

This hotel was so dirty. When I checked in my room still had trash on the counter. The bathroom was disgusting. The walls had spills on them. The couch was covered in stains and had liquid sitting on a cushion. The bed sheets had balls of hair on them. The front desk did get me a new room, but even that one was still dirty. The hallways were also very dirty too.

The night stand was hanging and not properly attached to the wall. The charging ports didn’t work. The noise level from the hallway and the floor above us was horrible. Sounded like there was a heard of elephants above us into the night. Never had that in a hotel before. Expect better from a Hampton Inn.

We prefer to stay at Hampton Inns because we usually have a very pleasant stay without any issues, but this one was a major disappointment. This hotel has a very late check-in (5 pm). Our room looked new and was clean, but the nightstand between the beds was falling off the wall, the drawer holding the coffee machine would not stay closed, and the sliding door to the bathroom did not work well; sometimes it would not close and open while you were in the bathroom or it would get stuck closed and you could not open it without lifting it. Went to get tea in the lobby and the water was barely above room temperature. Extremely limited breakfast selection. We even paid a premium because of its location, but we should have selected a different hotel. This was for a one-night stay for a sporting event, so it we were not there long enough to try to get any of the issues addressed.

Water pressure extremely low, loose screws almost falling out of place, sliding door not working properly resulting in bathroom not having needed privacy, privacy shade on window did not close all the way and there was no other curtain that would block view from outside.

I want to say thank you and give a huge amount of credit to the staff at the front desk. The hotel's computer system had been crashed and would not work, so the front lobby staff had to walk each guest -- one by one -- to their rooms. The system couldn't check anyone in, and it couldn't issue keys. We could not connect to wifi, because they couldn't check us in, and we couldn't enter our name and room number. The staff, despite this, did an outstanding job rallying under ridiculous circumstances. But to that point, I was at the front desk on Thursday when the staff was trying to get help from whoever was working on the computers and the answers they were getting from tech support were completely unacceptable. The result was the guests and staff suffered. As a guest, being walked to your room is a solution, but it's not anywhere near to an ideal solution. It makes coming and going very difficult. You can't just "run downstairs," or "run out to the car" without having to wait for, and further inconvenience an already overworked and stressed out staff. You sort of felt like a prisoner in your own room, or you had to prop the door so it wouldn't lock to get back in and out quickly. Heck, you couldn't even go down the hall to get ice. Overall, I credit the staff, but the the stay was sort of awful as a result.

I tried digital entry since we arrived at 0230. I had to go to the desk. Doors were locked. No one would answer the phone after MULTIPLE CALLS. No apology or welcome when someone finally answered the door. I did call the day before to let them know I would be arriving early in the morning. She put a note on my reservation. Very disappointed!

I arrived at the hotel by 12pm day of check in. I walked inside the hotel and there was no one at the desk. So I waited a bit and went to use the RE, came back and still no one was at the desk. I finally found a maid and she found the desk attendant. She was very rude and not helpful at all. I left and came back around 6 to finalize check in and no surprise again there was no one at the front desk. I waited 10 min for a gentleman to arrive at the desk, and there were 3 other people behind me needing help as well. Overall, the lack of awareness and having to wait made the stay frustrating. The room was fine.

I had a chip in my windshield in the morning when I left. Upon returning that evening I request that the staff please review the camera footage from the previous night. The manager walked out with me and I showed him the car and where I had parked. He asked for my room number and promised they would do so and get back with me promptly. I never heard from him and he was not in when I checked out 3 days later. Disappointing.

Hotel was right around the corner from Lakepoint and there was so much to do also. Bowling, arcade, mini golf right across the street. This was great since it rained so much and our games were cancelled. Hotel breakfast was great too! Very nice at the front desk. Chik-fil-a was right next door too!!

The hotel itself is brand new, therefor very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was nice, and the location was excellent. My two hiccups with this hotel was the breakfast and technology. First, breakfast was open until 10. We went down at 9:15 and there was nothing left and they never refilled the food. They were busy due to a baseball tournament being in town, however, I expected them to keep the food options available up until 10am. I was able to eat one sausage patty and a yogurt. But the eggs, bagels, muffins, etc were gone and there was no coffee left. We ended up walking across the street to Starbucks. Secondly, the lack of usb outlets in the rooms. For a brand new hotel, I expected updated charging outlets. It wasn’t an issue, but at this point in time, I expect (especially new) hotels to have usb plugs in the room. Even the older hotels we have stayed in have updated their outlets to have usb plugs as well.

During booking, I was directed to pay at counter during check in. Check in was not until 5:00pm. I was charged at 2:00pm three hours prior to checking in. I wasn’t allowed to check in until 5:00pm still. Breakfast is advertised 6am-10am on the site and inside the facility. Only reason for staying here and paying over 2X the cost of the hotel across the street was because of our tournament and being unaware of the other hotel. We came down at 6:00 for breakfast and after waiting until 6:06 we had to leave for the tournament. No breakfast
