An amazing and relaxing time at Paradox. Clean, tidy and neat rooms with one of the most comfy beds I’ve ever slept in. Great views of the pool and sea from the room and massive balcony. Grounds are huge and well cared for, the pool area, restaurants and cafe are all well staffed, very clean and the food and cocktails are amazing. Happy hour by the pool each day is always popular. Studio cafe had just reopened during my stay and opted for their healthy breakfast which was great. It’s a few minutes walk to the beach, multiple markets and great restaurants. Many 7/11’s in the area for anything that you might need. Otherwise the resort menu, room service options have such a great variety. It was a most relaxing and memorable stay.

Beautiful resort. Large apartment with lots of space and gorgeous ocean view. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Short walk to local shops and restaurants. Pools were beautiful and we loved the swim-up bar.

The best thing about this resort is its location—right in front of Karon Beach, which is absolutely beautiful. If you stay in one of the cabanas, you’ll be much closer to the beach, but if you’re in the main building, expect a bit of a walk. One downside was that the hotel was undergoing major construction, which made the pool area pretty noisy during the day. While I understand that renovations happen, I would have appreciated being informed about it before arrival. It wasn’t a huge issue for us since we spent most of our time at the beach, but if you’re planning to relax by the pool, it’s something to consider. Another minor issue was the shower in our room—the water temperature fluctuated between freezing cold and scalding hot. We didn’t report it until checkout since it didn’t bother us too much after being in the Phuket heat, but for families with kids, this could be a concern. Overall, the resort has a great location, but given the issues we experienced, I’d likely choose a different hotel next time.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was kind, attentive and helpful. The rooms were super clean and the restaurant offered great variety. However, I booked this hotel thinking I would have access to the infinity pool pictured on the profile but, it turns out that is only for residence who live in the condos of the hotel, so this was a bit misleading. Every thing else was great.

Das ist sehr schönes Hotel in der Nähe vom Strand. Wir haben Zimmer mit dem kleinen Pool gebucht und das war unsere beste Entscheidung. Hotel hat einen kleinen aber feinen Gym, mehrere Pools. Die Bedienung soll man extra erwähnen. Alle sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück ist sehr abwechslungsreich: man hat sowohl europäisches Essen als auch thailändisches zur Auswahl. Um Strand zu erreichen muss man nur Straße überqueren (1-2 Minuten zu Fuß); Also in nähere Umgebung mehrere Restaurants, Geschäfts und Apotheken; Das Hotel war mega schön und ich würde es definitiv weiter empfehlen

Will never stay at this facility again. Had to ask multiple times for our shower to be fixed so that it wouldn’t only spray out boiling water.. the plunge pool was never cleaned and had weeks worth of leaves and debris in it. The coffee cups and spoons had residue where you could tell they hadn’t been properly washed. Staff never had a clue what was going on at the front desk even though it’s slow season. Would barely give this “resort” 3 stars I don’t know who came up with it being 5. The breakfast buffet is the only thing that kept me somewhat sane

The whole property was very well kept. Acres of gardens were well maintained. All the staff were very busy all the time keeping the grounds neat and tidy. The breakfast staff were excellent remembering your coffee and tea orders every morning. They were always polite and helpful as were all the staff at the Resort. Nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend this Hotel to family and friends.

Hotell rommet var fantastisk. God plass for en i Penthouse Plunge Pool villa. Deilig å ligge på taket og sole seg. For å slappe av litt. Kort vei til stranden fra hotellet. Godt skiltet hvor du skal gå og en flott vei å gå på. Fint plantet og for en flott vei å gå til lobby, basseng eller stranden. Maten var lunken når jeg kom for å spise frokost en time etter de åpnet frokosten og senere. Masse forskjellig mat å velge i. På julaften ble det arrangert en tilstelning på hotellet og kjempe bra arrangement med julesanger. Det var for høy lyd og burde vært flere julesanger. Maten var ikke helt varm i starten av arrangementet. Siden jeg satt der alene kom de bort hver gang for å snakke med meg. Veldig hyggelig av dem. Hotelldirektøren kom bort å snakket til meg og andre gjester. Veldig hyggelig og han snakket lenge. Flott hotell og fint område. De til å rengjøre rommet kom først etter kl.14. Så tenkte at de ikke kom. Hyggelig betjening og serviceinnstilte. På rommet var det en del døde dyr og flekker på veggen på badet. Det hadde ikke gjort noe om de hadde pusset opp litt. Så litt slitt ut. Fin gate utenfor hotellet til å handle i på kvelden. Fint med sikkerhetsvakt utenfor hotellet og ha kortet ditt med deg som du må vise før du går inn. Følte meg trygg på område og gått med belysning og pyntet fint til jul med lyslenker og pynt.

We paid extra for a pool top villa but did not really think it was worth the extra as it was so small and lots of little ants. Very strict on bringing outside drinks and food around pool. ( I got told I could not eat crisps as not purchased from them) Had to ask for our pool to be cleaned and had cockroaches in bathroom but they did come straight away to fix. On the plus staff lovely hotel very clean good gym and good location

Great hotel, room and facilities. The staff were really helpful and friendly. We loved the beachside residence with the view of the beach / sunset from the balcony and access to the infinity pool. The location was great with the beach, shops and restaurants all in walking distance. The only downside was the noise from the road as its extremely busy all hours of the day.

We stayed at the Premium Garden Villa king plunge pool. Overall our experience was very good and we liked the scenery throughout the hotel area (which contrast that of the vibe in the streets in phuket, which we did not find as appealing). The service from the emplyees was also fantastic! However, although the inside of our room was very nice, the doors to the outisde was not tight (noticable gaps on top of the door) which resulted in two huntsman spiders wandering in during our stay. Also our balcony showed signs of time taking its toll. This might have been particular to the specific room we stayed in, not sure. Regardless, service was great when we pointed this out to the recption.

It’s a big property, but the villa suite we stayed at was quite old. The door handle to the deck was rusty and came off multiple times, hard to even open and close. Shower had black spots on walls. Amenities were dated. Overall we expected a little more for 5 start resort but otherwise it was a pleasant stay.

Stayed in the big main building with a sea view. The room was excellent. The reception was under reconstruction and had been moved to a different area. it didn't impede the overall impression of the hotel. We weren't bothered by the occasional noise. The staff was very friendly and service minded. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of options of both hot and cold food. The pool belonging to the main building was good and it also had a bar in the middle. At evening/night there wasn't a lot of guests using the hotel grounds for eating or drinking and we mostly sat alone at the restaurant or bar which was a shame. The hotel has a second restaurant near the sea which served home made pizza and it had a few more guests. The hotel is big and walking from the main building/reception to the ocean took about 5-10 minutes. Very nice hotel grounds with beautiful scenery. If I ever visit Karon beach again I will definitely stay at Paradox.

The property is top notch and 5 star for Phuket. Karon beach was beautiful and had access to a plethora of food and activities. Tour desk provided any activity you could want. The WiFi was fast and trouble free and the breakfast had more options than you could wish for.

Be prepared to walk. A lot. Ten minutes to lobby, another ten minutes to parking lot. Staff wouldn't return your message asking for golf cart transportation though their promise to provide upon check in. Why message? Phone line is dead. Messaging is the only way to communicate with hotel staff. And they don't respond. Be prepared to walk and get pissed.

Tired facilities in need of restoration investment. Drive up area to lobby has a collapsed roof - no longer in use but no repair work in sight. Beach side villas very nice and ours was well maintained. Staff are very nice and helpful but not enough are trained for 5 star service - e.g poolside staff don’t bother walking around to take orders, despite that being their job, you have to go to the bar to order. Good location and Karon is pretty family friendly. One of our group got food poisoning from eating at the hotel restaurant, Mint. Need to be vigilant in Thailand in general re food hygiene.

Guests are forced to download and install Paradox App on their personal smartphones to communicate for services in its chatting platform and really is for advertising their bar and restaurant promotion deals, and it is also the reason to substitute broken phones in rooms. However, there were times my requests were ignored and I had to personally walk to the hotel front office and convey service requests. The property is dated, not modern at all, but staffs are nice though. The property does not qualify a 5 star class hotel when comparing to competitors around the island.

Great location, close to local shops and Karon beach is accessible from the back of the resort. Its more quiet than Patong. The staff were incredibly helpful with directions. Spa service was quite relaxing as well. There are plenty of dining options and small markets close by and laudromats if you're planning a longer stay.

Very large resort with mainly Russian clientele. Room with plunge pool was highlight for me and this allowed us to kick back and relax. Three swimming pools nearby but temperature of water was very warm especially the main pool. Breakfast was excellent with so much choice. Especially liked the fresh juice bar. A 5 minute walk across the road took you to karon beach but this was too crowded for me

Dårlig utvalg på frokosten og kvalitet på maten. Minner litt om et all inclusive hotell (stress, lite ryddig mm). Enkelte ansatte virker svært lei jobben sin. Garden villa lå fint til, men noe utstyr funket ikke (kaffetrakter, telefon og safe). Fint og stort poolområde. Behagelig med flere ledige solsenger. Hotellet virker generelt litt slitt. Ikke fem stjerner i våre øyne - mer 3-4 stjerner.
