Stayed at Haven many times. Unfortunately this will be the last. The spectacular main pool was unswimmable. Dirty cloudy water, sides of pool covered with algae. Maintenance of pool was being conducted during swimming hours with guest in it, not before like most hotels. Algae coming off the side walls in huge clouds by cleaning crews with guests in water. The room had no hot water for two days. Aircon smelled very musty. Lights burnt out in room. The manager was sympathetic and allowed us access to private pool that was clean. But in my opinion, not worth a return visit

The property is in a superb location on a deserted beach, sunsets are stunning and the saltwater pool is very impressive. Great breakfast with a great egg station and good array of options. Swim up bar and snack bar with a nice restaurant for the evening. Also good fitness room and a wonderful Spa, would recommend the couples massage experience.

Ich war für 2 Nächte im The Haven und hatte die einfachste Zimmer-Kategorie mit Frühstück gebucht. Das Zimmer war sehr groß, hatte allerdings wenig asiatischen Flair. Wenn man zu zweit kommt findet man leider gar keinen Platz, um seinen Koffer auszupacken. Auch ich habe es für 2 Tage nicht gemacht, da im Schrank eigentlich kein Platz war. Es gibt einen sehr kleinen Balkon, der nur ein wenig überdacht ist. Ich hatte einen Regentag, an dem man somit auch nicht draußen auf dem Balkon sitzen konnte. Sehr angenehm war jedoch das große Bett mit einer sehr guten Matratze, worauf man sehr gut schlafen konnte. Das Frühstück war sehr überschaubar, aber was es gab war ganz gut. Ebenso die Cocktails an der Poolbar. Der Check-In war sehr professionell. Ebenso war der Service beim Frühstück und an der Poolbar sehr gut. Das Hotel liegt ein wenig im Nirgendwo, aber man kann in gut 10 Minuten 2 Restaurants erreichen. Vom Hotel aus überquert man eine Sandpiste und befindet sich am unberührten Strand. Es gibt eine riesige und wohl einzigartige Poolanlage in Khao Lak. Allerdings ist der Bereich der Liegen sehr überschaubar und sehr gedrängt. Für einen längeren Zeitraum wäre es mir wirklich zu eng gewesen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für das gebuchte Zimmer war unschlagbar. Es empfiehlt sich jedoch unbedingt, ein Zimmer mit Poolzugang zu buchen.

We had 2 deluxe rooms pool access. The pool access is great and is done at different levels so allows only 5 or so rooms can use that part of the pool. Some had only 2 rooms but a smaller area of the pool but still decent. The food was very nice and very affordable. Service was very good except for breakfast. The breakfast area is small for the size of the hotel. And we went in low season. We had to split up for one of the breakfast which was not great. Choice was good. In the area- about 10 minutes walk you have a small supermarket, a couple of massage places and a couple of restaurant. The massages came in handy as we had rain on the 2 days we were there. We tried the restaurant next door and it was good too. Cheaper than the hotel but the hotel is a bit more and very good quality. So either option is fine. They also have happy hour in the bar from 9pm for an hour. They provide a shuttle every day to go to Khao Lak centre and market at 4.15pm for 2 hours. On some days they have 2 shuttles with another at 2.15pm.

Schöne riesige Poollandschaft. Zimmer mit direkten Poolzugang definitiv empfehlenswert. Sehr freundliches Personal. Sehr gutes Frühstück mit großer Auswahl. Schön wäre eine Padkaffeemaschine auf dem Zimmer gewesen und wenn der kostenlose Shuttlebus vom Hotel in die Stadt öfters fahren würde.

The hotel is situated about a 7 minute taxi from the centre of Town (TB 300). Very quiet secluded area, but with 2 local bars/ restaurants within 500 meters. The hotel is fabulous with the biggest pool in Thailand! Nice bars and restaurant. This is a ‘no kids’ resort. Very pleasant experience.

The whole hotel is modern and very clean. The pools and plants make the complex look inviting and natural. You can walk everywhere quickly, the rooms are cozy and the beds are very comfortable. The view from the restaurant across the main pool to the sea was fantastic, especially at sunset! If you cross the main pool over a bridge, you are directly on a beautiful fine sandy beach. You have absolute peace and quiet there, there is a swing and a hammock. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the staff were always very friendly and courteous! Jeff in particular took great care of us every evening and we always felt welcome. We would book again at any time :-)

The staff were courteous, approachable and welcoming. They promptly attended to one's needs. The property was well-kept and clean. The food was always tops, including the breakfast buffet which was quite varied. All in all a wonderful and enjoyable stay!

Beach: Absolutely stunning and not even close to crowded Wi-Fi: Somewhat unstable and not reliable enough for video calls. Housekeeping: Excellent. Our cleaning maid, May, did a wonderful job and kept the room in perfect condition throughout our stay. Air conditioning: Worked very well. Note that removing the key card from its holder shuts off all electricity, including the air conditioning. Breakfast Breakfast was the main disappointment. While it is clear that effort is being made, the overall experience does not meet expectations for a five-star hotel. The setup looks right, but execution falls short. For comparison, we stayed at JW Marriott last year, which had a similar layout but delivered a significantly better breakfast experience. Specific feedback and suggestions Fruit selection: Limited variation. Mango was missing entirely, and pineapple and dragon fruit were only available on a few mornings. Noodle soup station: Visually appealing but poor in execution. •First attempt: noodles were undercooked. •Second attempt: chicken meatballs contained a lot of gristle and sinew, making them unpleasant to eat. •The broth flavor was also not to our liking. •Juice: In a country rich in fresh fruit, serving juice from concentrate is disappointing and feels below five-star standard. Après un très bon sejour en septembre 2022 , j'ai décidé de revenir au Haven en 2025 ....quelle déception !!!! Les chambres sont au bout de leur vie, vraiment à rafraîchir car indigne d'un 5 étoiles..... humidité, moisissures, vitres sales y compris dans la douche, cafards que j'ai tué avec ce que j'avais sous la main ( déo) ...... Le personnel du restaurant pas à la hauteur, notamment une personne qui c'est arrêté de s'occuper de nous , car je ne connaissais pas par cœur mon numéro de chambre, qui a manifesté son mécontentement ( c'est rare en Thaïlande 🙏 , je vis à BKK depuis 4 ans ).... elle se reconnaîtra Je tiens à féliciter la personne de la conciergerie qui a été parfaite, elle se reconnaîtra également.... Vraiment déçu

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour de 2 semaines, le service très bien, le petit dejeuner tres complet et variés. Seul le nettoyage de la chambre laisse a désirer notamment la salle de bain. Et l'hotel est eloigné du centre de khao lak, un taxi est nécessaire car peu de navettes de l'hôtel pour s'y rendre (1 seule ou 2 par jour en cette saison). Je recommande cet hotel

Only 5 minutes to Khao lak town, the resort is becoming a little bit dated, not very user friendly to elderly people as a lot of the stairs are unsafe thin and uneven especially on the bridges going over the pools. The onsite restaurant menu is average and the food similar most nights the restaurant was very quiet as people ate out elsewhere. We had a pool access room which was nice. Overall would we stay there again 50/50 on that.

Beach: Absolutely stunning and not even close to crowded Wi-Fi: Somewhat unstable and not reliable enough for video calls. Housekeeping: Excellent. Our cleaning maid, May, did a wonderful job and kept the room in perfect condition throughout our stay. Air conditioning: Worked very well. Note that removing the key card from its holder shuts off all electricity, including the air conditioning. Breakfast Breakfast was the main disappointment. While it is clear that effort is being made, the overall experience does not meet expectations for a five-star hotel. The setup looks right, but execution falls short. For comparison, we stayed at JW Marriott last year, which had a similar layout but delivered a significantly better breakfast experience. Specific feedback and suggestions Fruit selection: Limited variation. Mango was missing entirely, and pineapple and dragon fruit were only available on a few mornings. Noodle soup station: Visually appealing but poor in execution. •First attempt: noodles were undercooked. •Second attempt: chicken meatballs contained a lot of gristle and sinew, making them unpleasant to eat. •The broth flavor was also not to our liking. •Juice: In a country rich in fresh fruit, serving juice from concentrate is disappointing and feels below five-star standard. Ich war für 2 Nächte im The Haven und hatte die einfachste Zimmer-Kategorie mit Frühstück gebucht. Das Zimmer war sehr groß, hatte allerdings wenig asiatischen Flair. Wenn man zu zweit kommt findet man leider gar keinen Platz, um seinen Koffer auszupacken. Auch ich habe es für 2 Tage nicht gemacht, da im Schrank eigentlich kein Platz war. Es gibt einen sehr kleinen Balkon, der nur ein wenig überdacht ist. Ich hatte einen Regentag, an dem man somit auch nicht draußen auf dem Balkon sitzen konnte. Sehr angenehm war jedoch das große Bett mit einer sehr guten Matratze, worauf man sehr gut schlafen konnte. Das Frühstück war sehr überschaubar, aber was es gab war ganz gut. Ebenso die Cocktails an der Poolbar. Der Check-In war sehr professionell. Ebenso war der Service beim Frühstück und an der Poolbar sehr gut. Das Hotel liegt ein wenig im Nirgendwo, aber man kann in gut 10 Minuten 2 Restaurants erreichen. Vom Hotel aus überquert man eine Sandpiste und befindet sich am unberührten Strand. Es gibt eine riesige und wohl einzigartige Poolanlage in Khao Lak. Allerdings ist der Bereich der Liegen sehr überschaubar und sehr gedrängt. Für einen längeren Zeitraum wäre es mir wirklich zu eng gewesen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für das gebuchte Zimmer war unschlagbar. Es empfiehlt sich jedoch unbedingt, ein Zimmer mit Poolzugang zu buchen.

The Haven is situated 5-10 mins from the main areas of Khao lak by taxi, and fronts a gorgeous stretch of quiet beach. The network of pools that runs through the property is extraordinarily beautiful, get a pool entry room if you can add you swim straight in from your room. Our room was large and well appointed, clean and comfortable. Although the staff are friendly, they are not trained to the level of a good resort. The buildings are well designed and pleasing. The only problem we had was with the food in the resort. Breakfasts were fine, but all meals were had at the Vongole restaurant and room service were truly awful. 2 minutes walk up the beach road leads to some shops, restaurants and amenities that are superior and far more reasonably priced than the hotel. Trip highlights were the pool and beach at the resort - best in area - and sunset drinks at La Flora in Bang Niang and the Golden Elephant restaurant on the strip in Khao lak central. Recommend the area and resort for a relaxing holiday, though there are some low key adventure day trips.

The whole hotel is modern and very clean. The pools and plants make the complex look inviting and natural. You can walk everywhere quickly, the rooms are cozy and the beds are very comfortable. The view from the restaurant across the main pool to the sea was fantastic, especially at sunset! If you cross the main pool over a bridge, you are directly on a beautiful fine sandy beach. You have absolute peace and quiet there, there is a swing and a hammock. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the staff were always very friendly and courteous! Jeff in particular took great care of us every evening and we always felt welcome. We would book again at any time :-)

The staff were courteous, approachable and welcoming. They promptly attended to one's needs. The property was well-kept and clean. The food was always tops, including the breakfast buffet which was quite varied. All in all a wonderful and enjoyable stay!

Après un très bon sejour en septembre 2022 , j'ai décidé de revenir au Haven en 2025 ....quelle déception !!!! Les chambres sont au bout de leur vie, vraiment à rafraîchir car indigne d'un 5 étoiles..... humidité, moisissures, vitres sales y compris dans la douche, cafards que j'ai tué avec ce que j'avais sous la main ( déo) ...... Le personnel du restaurant pas à la hauteur, notamment une personne qui c'est arrêté de s'occuper de nous , car je ne connaissais pas par cœur mon numéro de chambre, qui a manifesté son mécontentement ( c'est rare en Thaïlande 🙏 , je vis à BKK depuis 4 ans ).... elle se reconnaîtra Je tiens à féliciter la personne de la conciergerie qui a été parfaite, elle se reconnaîtra également.... Vraiment déçu

로비와 조식당에 에어컨이 없어 체크인부터 정말 더웠어요 호텔 직원들은 작은 서비스에도 팁을 달라고 요구하고 체크인 객실위치 알려준 직원도 팁을 요구하더군요 막상 안내해야할 보증금 부분은 설명하지도 않아서 풀 사이드 바에서 음료 결제하는데 보증금 시스템을 나중에서야 알고 호텔 내에서 간단한 식음료 결제하는데 불편함이 있었습니다 객실 정비를 오후 너무 늦은 시간에 해줘서 수건좀 갈아달라고 두번 전화하는 과정에서 전화받는 직원이랑 싸웠네요ㅋ 해외여행중 호텔 직원과 영어로 싸운건 또 처음이네요 태도가 정말 무례했습니다 호텔 내 다른 스탭들도 모두 불친절하고 일도 엉망으로 하던데 기대가 컷던 탓인지 자꾸 실망하는 바람에 기분 상하지 않으려고 노력하며 지내야했어요 객실 상태는 전반적으로 넓고 쾌적합니다 테라스도 있어 빨래 널어놓을 수 있었고 무엇보다 수영장이 어른전용이라 아주 깊었습니다 까치발 들고도 목까지 잠겨서 수영할 맛이 나더라구요 호텔 수영장이 정말 근사하고 길이도 길고 해수욕장 바다를 바라보는 뷰여서 휴양지 다운 시간 보냈습니다 직원들만 잘 피해다니면 호텔 자체는 좋아요 근데 두번은 안갈것 같아요 근처 비슷한 수준의 다른 호텔도 많으니까요

We had an amazing time at The Haven. They have everything available that you might need, and are very eco-aware (using glass water bottles rather than plastic, etc). Rooms are amazing and super comfortable, and the pools are amazing as well!!! Only con: service can be a little slow. We tried to order drinks at the swim up bar, but after 20+ minutes of sitting there unable to get an order in we left. You need a taxi or motorbike to get into town, so the area was nice and quiet.

The property is in a superb location on a deserted beach, sunsets are stunning and the saltwater pool is very impressive. Great breakfast with a great egg station and good array of options. Swim up bar and snack bar with a nice restaurant for the evening. Also good fitness room and a wonderful Spa, would recommend the couples massage experience.

Ich war für 2 Nächte im The Haven und hatte die einfachste Zimmer-Kategorie mit Frühstück gebucht. Das Zimmer war sehr groß, hatte allerdings wenig asiatischen Flair. Wenn man zu zweit kommt findet man leider gar keinen Platz, um seinen Koffer auszupacken. Auch ich habe es für 2 Tage nicht gemacht, da im Schrank eigentlich kein Platz war. Es gibt einen sehr kleinen Balkon, der nur ein wenig überdacht ist. Ich hatte einen Regentag, an dem man somit auch nicht draußen auf dem Balkon sitzen konnte. Sehr angenehm war jedoch das große Bett mit einer sehr guten Matratze, worauf man sehr gut schlafen konnte. Das Frühstück war sehr überschaubar, aber was es gab war ganz gut. Ebenso die Cocktails an der Poolbar. Der Check-In war sehr professionell. Ebenso war der Service beim Frühstück und an der Poolbar sehr gut. Das Hotel liegt ein wenig im Nirgendwo, aber man kann in gut 10 Minuten 2 Restaurants erreichen. Vom Hotel aus überquert man eine Sandpiste und befindet sich am unberührten Strand. Es gibt eine riesige und wohl einzigartige Poolanlage in Khao Lak. Allerdings ist der Bereich der Liegen sehr überschaubar und sehr gedrängt. Für einen längeren Zeitraum wäre es mir wirklich zu eng gewesen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für das gebuchte Zimmer war unschlagbar. Es empfiehlt sich jedoch unbedingt, ein Zimmer mit Poolzugang zu buchen.

The Haven is situated 5-10 mins from the main areas of Khao lak by taxi, and fronts a gorgeous stretch of quiet beach. The network of pools that runs through the property is extraordinarily beautiful, get a pool entry room if you can add you swim straight in from your room. Our room was large and well appointed, clean and comfortable. Although the staff are friendly, they are not trained to the level of a good resort. The buildings are well designed and pleasing. The only problem we had was with the food in the resort. Breakfasts were fine, but all meals were had at the Vongole restaurant and room service were truly awful. 2 minutes walk up the beach road leads to some shops, restaurants and amenities that are superior and far more reasonably priced than the hotel. Trip highlights were the pool and beach at the resort - best in area - and sunset drinks at La Flora in Bang Niang and the Golden Elephant restaurant on the strip in Khao lak central. Recommend the area and resort for a relaxing holiday, though there are some low key adventure day trips.

The hotel is situated about a 7 minute taxi from the centre of Town (TB 300). Very quiet secluded area, but with 2 local bars/ restaurants within 500 meters. The hotel is fabulous with the biggest pool in Thailand! Nice bars and restaurant. This is a ‘no kids’ resort. Very pleasant experience.

The property is in a superb location on a deserted beach, sunsets are stunning and the saltwater pool is very impressive. Great breakfast with a great egg station and good array of options. Swim up bar and snack bar with a nice restaurant for the evening. Also good fitness room and a wonderful Spa, would recommend the couples massage experience.

Amazing hotel, amazing location and amazing staff. The breakfast was hot and varied every day and the staff could not do enough to make the stay relaxing and stress free. Definitely recommend and will be back for sure

The staff were courteous, approachable and welcoming. They promptly attended to one's needs. The property was well-kept and clean. The food was always tops, including the breakfast buffet which was quite varied. All in all a wonderful and enjoyable stay!

Only 5 minutes to Khao lak town, the resort is becoming a little bit dated, not very user friendly to elderly people as a lot of the stairs are unsafe thin and uneven especially on the bridges going over the pools. The onsite restaurant menu is average and the food similar most nights the restaurant was very quiet as people ate out elsewhere. We had a pool access room which was nice. Overall would we stay there again 50/50 on that.

Beach: Absolutely stunning and not even close to crowded Wi-Fi: Somewhat unstable and not reliable enough for video calls. Housekeeping: Excellent. Our cleaning maid, May, did a wonderful job and kept the room in perfect condition throughout our stay. Air conditioning: Worked very well. Note that removing the key card from its holder shuts off all electricity, including the air conditioning. Breakfast Breakfast was the main disappointment. While it is clear that effort is being made, the overall experience does not meet expectations for a five-star hotel. The setup looks right, but execution falls short. For comparison, we stayed at JW Marriott last year, which had a similar layout but delivered a significantly better breakfast experience. Specific feedback and suggestions Fruit selection: Limited variation. Mango was missing entirely, and pineapple and dragon fruit were only available on a few mornings. Noodle soup station: Visually appealing but poor in execution. •First attempt: noodles were undercooked. •Second attempt: chicken meatballs contained a lot of gristle and sinew, making them unpleasant to eat. •The broth flavor was also not to our liking. •Juice: In a country rich in fresh fruit, serving juice from concentrate is disappointing and feels below five-star standard. We had 2 deluxe rooms pool access. The pool access is great and is done at different levels so allows only 5 or so rooms can use that part of the pool. Some had only 2 rooms but a smaller area of the pool but still decent. The food was very nice and very affordable. Service was very good except for breakfast. The breakfast area is small for the size of the hotel. And we went in low season. We had to split up for one of the breakfast which was not great. Choice was good. In the area- about 10 minutes walk you have a small supermarket, a couple of massage places and a couple of restaurant. The massages came in handy as we had rain on the 2 days we were there. We tried the restaurant next door and it was good too. Cheaper than the hotel but the hotel is a bit more and very good quality. So either option is fine. They also have happy hour in the bar from 9pm for an hour. They provide a shuttle every day to go to Khao Lak centre and market at 4.15pm for 2 hours. On some days they have 2 shuttles with another at 2.15pm.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour de 2 semaines, le service très bien, le petit dejeuner tres complet et variés. Seul le nettoyage de la chambre laisse a désirer notamment la salle de bain. Et l'hotel est eloigné du centre de khao lak, un taxi est nécessaire car peu de navettes de l'hôtel pour s'y rendre (1 seule ou 2 par jour en cette saison). Je recommande cet hotel

We were sold by an aerial shot of the complex. It looked like all pools were connected and you could swim everywhere. In reality they weren’t. Not that big a deal but it would’ve been fantastic if that was the case. No happy hour in the swim up bar was a let down. Breakfast and the food in general was good. The staff were excellent.

The room was spacious - we had a second floor king delux. Things were looking a little tired in areas - the first impression wasn’t great due to the lift up to reception and the pool tiles could do with some TLC. Setting is beautiful and some small local restaurants & shops to walk to.
