Room was great, hotel itself overall was excellent. Was not thrilled with the check in experience as our room door was latched shut when we arrived (couldn't get into our room for 30-45 mins) and had to wait for staff to remedy the door latch. Parking could also be explained much better and the parking zone in front of the hotel was insufficient for the peak rush.

Very friendly and efficient front desk (Jose) Clean, well-appointed, large rooms w/safe and mini-fridge. Nice fitness center. Secure elevator system. Jose handled my 2nd night Expedia reservation seamlessly with my tour group first night and we were assigned the same room. So glad we didn’t need to waste time changing rooms.

It’s always a great stay at the Dorian. Front desk and concierge are always welcoming. We didn’t get a chance to eat here this time as we were on the go but great atmosphere. The rooms are gorgeous, bedding is comfortable. Black out curtains, nice and quiet. But rooms are so clean. Housekeeping does a FANTASTIC job. I’m a freak about things being/looking clean and it’s well done here.

We had a pleasant stay at this location and appreciated the neighbourhood. A couple of things to look out for, and that make me hesitate booking again, would be: 1. The city view we had was 2 hip-wide windows, which I thought only technically qualified as a view. 2. Housekeeping and reception attentiveness to our requests was not always consistent.

Amazing rooms with beautiful decor! The rooms are beautifully decorated, spacious, and the bar cart is a nice touch. The fact they offer real wine glasses and coffee cups in the rooms is a bonus. This will be our new "go to" whenever we stay in Calgary. For the money, you won't find a better hotel.

Wasn’t blown away by this hotel. The rooms were nicely decorated but small and there weren’t many dining options or amenities. The only parking options are valet or a pay by the hour public parking lot. The hotel forgot to charge us for valet parking and retroactively charged our card a month later without any warning. Would have appreciated a phone call before they charged our card for the second time. Also witnessed the manager yelling at a staff member at the front desk. Not worth it.

The hotel itself is beautiful and a great place to stay for a one night stay-cation. My wife and I were attending a Christmas party close to downtown and chose to make a night of it with our stay at the Dorian. We were disappointed that when we arrived at 4 o'clock for check-in that the hotel was unable to accommodate us with our selected room as they had a lot of late check-outs that day and did not have a room cleaned and ready yet. We had to wait close to an hour before a room was made available to us, shortening the time that we had to get ready for our Christmas party. It's unfortunate that the hotel was unable to manage the requests for late check-out effectively, knowing how many guests would be checking in, and ensure that those new guests were not negatively impacted on their arrival. I would expect that type of service from a Michelin Key ratred hotel.

This is truly one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The gym is fantastic! They have 3 different options for dining within the hotel and the food is great! The bathroom in my room was fully stocked with brandname toiletries and unlike most hotels, they had a proper and well working hair dryer. The storage space in my room made it easy to plan out my outfits throughout the week. Overall a lovely stay at The Dorian. Highly recommend!

The hotel is beautiful and the hotel staff are warm and friendly. The Wilde is the restaurant bar on the top floor -- it is a great place and highly recommended. The breakfast restaurant on the second floor, however, is terrible -- do NOT bother with it. The staff were unprofessional, the tables were dirty and the food was overpriced and mediocre in quality. Very disappointing.

Everything about the Dorian was beautiful. From the cleverly designed rooms to the interesting story of the hotel. Service was impeccable and Staff was incredibly friendly. The only slight criticism in my head was that I ordered a room service breakfast and received no butter or jams for my toast. Coffee did not come in a carafe with a cup to drink out of but a Takeaway cup, and it was slightly cold. I did ask for them to bring me butter and jam, and it was brought to me in little plastic containers. I just think for this class of hotel they can do better with the little touches for the room service. other than that, it was amazing!
