What guests think

At Coast Nisku Inn & Conference Centre, travellers praise clean rooms, friendly staff, a convenient airport shuttle, and the family‑friendly pool with waterslide, while noting mixed room updates, frequent noise around the atrium pool and hallways, and occasional maintenance hiccups.

On‑site dining at Montana’s and the included breakfast are convenient, though service hours and quality vary. The pool and waterslide are a highlight, but hot‑tub jets and water temperature occasionally disappoint, and chlorine smells and humidity can travel through the atrium. Rooms range from updated to dated; common issues include loud AC, oversized pillows, limited microwaves, shower designs that splash water, intermittent hot water or Wi‑Fi, and noise from kids and teams. Expect a convenient, family‑oriented stay near the airport with lively common areas rather than a hushed hotel.

We stay at the hotel annually. It's a good solid hotel, but could use some maintenance. The hot tub in the pool area was malfunctioning and the AC in the room was loud. We like the convenience of the Montana's Restaurant and shuttle service.

The prooerty seems to be newer and have a modern design. The pool i much smaller than o the pictures, and the hot tab has weak jets. The only one restaurant here is the Montan's restaurant. The evening hours they were busy, so only one spot was available to sit it was at the bar. Travelled with kids, so I had to take out food as no kids are allowed in the area. No microwave in a room, so only one is in the lobby, by the reception. Not convenient.

Very meticulously clean hotel and gorgeous, well maintained lobby. lt had a fantastic waterslide pool for kiddos, which is probably worth its weight in gold for tired parents. Pool itself is a wee bit small if it got crowded, but spotless. It was nice to have Montana's in the hotel.

This hotel has a problem with lingering cigarette smell in the rooms. I have stayed here many times and each time the rooms have an overwhelming stale cigarette smell. The front desk was very helpful and did switch my room. But I would much rather not have had the issue to begin with. This is a great hotel otherwise. The service is excellent. And every kid loves the pool. (That’s why we come here to stay) I feel that Montanas could step it up a bit in the breakfast department. I know it’s a free breakfast but the food could be just a bit better. Those scrambled eggs were barely cooked and the buffet area had a lot of cross contamination. No bueno.

I’ll start with the good - check in and out was quick and easy. The hotel and room was as advertised. Food and service at the restaurant was excellent. Staff was all friendly. The not so good - the room was very dated and there were stains on the bedding and the shower was not clean. The pool was absolutely filthy by the end of the day, every time we lifted our hands from the water there were long strands of hair intertwined in our fingers and the pool deck was visibly dirty. The water slide is really fast and with the turns we bashed our heads on the sides on the way down. We talked to several people after who all had the same thing happen to them - one guy said his kid was still in the room with an ice pack! We have been on tons of water slides and we did follow all the slide rules but I just feel like it’s a poor design and there should, at minimum, be warnings posted. The common areas could use more frequent cleanings, there were food chunks on the rugs in the hallways and garbage in the stairwells.

We stayed in the pet freindly room. The room very much smelled like a pet room and there was no option to open a window to let it air out. The pool was nice but it was centrally located in the Inn and not inclosed so the humidity from the pool ran throughout the Inn. They had a coffee bar set up in the morning but it was taken down before 9:30am. The jets in the hot tub didn't blow very hard (just enough to move the water around) and according to another guest, they have never worked. Otherwise, it is what it is. You get what you pay for i suppose.

One of my friends recommended this place so I thought I would give it a try. It seemed nice at first but once I went to bed I found the mattress in room 150 very uncomfortable and had crumbs on it and no fitted sheet. I asked at the front desk if here were any other rooms with a more comfortable bed. The man working the night shift was seemingly annoyed and came across as arrogant and rude. He said all the beds were the same. I then told him my mattress had crumbs on it and it was dirty. He requested to see the mattress so I showed him. I felt like he thought I was lying but when he seen the mattress he found us another room where the beds were much more comfortable. We were happy to get a new room but the downfalls were it had a musty smell like a dirty mildew rag. Also in our previous room we had a tv that we could watch Netflix on and when we were moved the new room had an older tv. When we asked about the other tv they said they couldn't move it. The next day we left the room around 2:30 we did not request room service. When we came back we notice our beds were made and our suitcases were moved and I noticed my sleeping eye mask was missing. We felt violated that someone went in there and touched our things and had something go missing. I had really hoped to enjoy the pool but every night there were atleast 20-30 people in there. The free breakfast at Montana's was awful with no gluten free options except for soggy eggs and soggy ham. I won't be back.

The hotel was nice enough but they were having some tech issues which meant the check in was extremely slow and the key cards continually stopped working, which meant going to the front desk for a new card repeatedly over our 4 night stay. Everything was great, very nice location and very convenient for the airport. Only concern when staying multiple days we left the do not disturb on our door as we were repacking for multiple trips so our bags were all open and all over the bed and room and didnt need housekeeping services. Both days we returned to find the cleaning staff in our room cleaning and they had removed the "sleeping" do not disturb sign, it was jarring and concerning. Otherwise we had a wonderful stay over multiple days and multiple trips.

We stayed here this week and was okay for the short time we were there. Good for overnight flying out as it is close to the airport. One thing is that the a/c heater unit was really weird. It would blow hot air when set to the desired temp then the a/c would cut in right after and make the room uncomfortably cold. I did go to the front desk and they sent housekeeping but they were of no help to fix it. there was no maintainence staff on site over the thanksgiving weekend. The breakfast was okay, something for everyone. The Montanas in the hotel was very good for supper one night. The area around the hotel is good, no issues. We did not use the shuttle so can't comment on that. The room is a bit dated, the bathroom has been renovated but the rooms were a bit tired looking. I would stay here again in the future if needed.
