What guests think

At Night Bazaar Inn, travellers praise the excellent central location by the Night Bazaar, friendly staff, spacious if dated rooms, and good value, while noting mixed breakfast quality, occasional maintenance issues, and nightlife noise affecting some rooms.

Facilities include a small pool and a basic gym; some stays reported maintenance closures or scarce seating, and airport transfers worked for some but were missed for others. Cleanliness is generally solid, though age shows in bathrooms and fixtures, and several guests found the beds hard. Overall, expect a budget-friendly stay focused on convenience and value rather than luxury.

Our stay was good. But was disappointed that the parking facility was not condusive. Our car was blocked by another car and the driver was not contactable. As a result we had to take taxi to the place we wanna go.

There's not much to complain about especially with the rate we paid. The only issue we had was we were on the 6th floor and got some of the noise from the bar which is also on the 6th floor. Fitness center could use an upgrade, but other then that it was clean, comfortable, had a decent breakfast and professional staff.

Great hotel, nice big rooms and right next to night market, easy to walk and get to places, breakfast was good. Pool is good size but only 1 or 2 seats next to it so difficult to use if others are there.

To be fair, I think the hotel was still in recovery mode from the flood one month earlier. It really caused a lot of damage everywhere. The breakfast area was nice and what was provided for breakfast was very good, though some of the dishes felt cool when it should have been warm (food safety). The pool was not available as it was being repaired from the flood damage. The hallway carpets were a bit dirty. I like the layout of the room (king, single bed), but the furniture and surfaces are very worn down. A little sanding and some new varnish would make things so much better! The bathroom needs a pressure wash or something, lots of dirt (maybe mold) in the stucko/stone surface. Definitely bring ear plugs as the night baazar area is party town! Also, walls seem to be paper thin, I hear alot from connecting rooms. Lastly, smokers on the neighbour's balcony somehow gets sucked into your room via a/c? For the price and location, a good stay in general.

You get what ya pay for overall wasn’t bad Very convenient to wonder around the markets main reason I picked it, I also picked it cause bar and restaurant, restaurant wasn’t opening for lunch and dinner and from the signs had been like that awhile. Pool was closed for maintenance and similar to kitchen look like it had been awhile Breakfast was very ordinary But again it was cheap so with all negative I’d probably still stay there again haha

No one was ever in the bar,and the breakfast menu never changed once in 3 weeks, and there was limited choice to begin with.there was only one tap in the bathroom and it was broken ,reported it repeatedly nothing changed ,ended up having to boil kettles so i could have a warm water shave.

Every thing is superb and it’s way beyond my expectations. The room and bathroom were extremely clean. Everything is perfect except lots of tiny ants crawling around. I recommend the property management to have pest control to get rid of those ants and it’s going to be one of the best hotel in night bazaar. I will get back there again if I travel to Chiang Mai.

Nice central location however, a lot of noise from the Nightbazaar every night, which was a bit too much. The room itself was nice and clean however, the bathroom felt a bit outdated and the daily towels weren't clean enough in my opinion. Overall good value for the money, but had expected a bit more.

If you like to go for walks, shopping and dining this is a hotel is a great option. We love the location to go shopping at night, great food options, coffee shops etc.. Even though is nearby busy streets is also quite so you won’t be bothered by the noise. We didn’t like a few things about it for example, it isn’t the cleanest hotel they need to do better and that the AC unit was not working properly.

A nice hotel, decent room size, bed was firm, shower and bathroom were fine. My room had a balcony which overlooked a beer bar complex, but it never bothered me - they seemed to shut down at midnight. Breakfast was available, but not really to my taste. I would happily stay there again. I’m internet was available - was a 36mbs service whilst I was there.

Hard beds. I let the front desk know the bed was hard and my wife and I couldn’t sleep. The lady told us all the beds are the same. We left after that night even though we paid for two. We told the ladies up front that we had to leave, didn’t expect a refund, but let them know anyways, and she told me all the beds in Thailand are the same lol. 🤣 It’s all good, I was nice, it was just funny. Well, every other hotel we stayed in around Thailand for $30-$40/night had soft beds. Nice older gentleman working up front though. And beautiful country. ✌️

Its not the newest property but it is very well kept. Rooms are not huge but very well laid out. The bathrooms are very nice and we had a small balcony. Now, i can sleep anywhere but their beds are not the most comfortable, they have room for improvement. Now for the best part. It is located next to the night bazaar and you have great street food, shopping and events.

First, the likes: I liked that it was cheap and close to the Night Markets. I liked that it was close to my brother's condo. Now the dislikes: It was uncomfortable for me because the bed was very hard, there were only 2 uncomfortable chairs to sit in in the rooms, it was so close to the Night Markets that the live music kept me up until after midnight (very noisy at night), and the air conditioner turned off when I removed my key from the slot in my room so it was hot, humid, and sticky when I came back. I also did not like the configuration of the bathroom with the open shower as part of the room (which also was never air conditioned). After 3 nights, I ended up moving 4 blocks away to the Marriott. While I paid about 3 times as much, I was comfortable.

Fantastic hotel, unbeatable location and the most friendly and courteous staff. I was here for five nights, one night solo on my own and the next four nights my parents joined me. I Experienced a solo room, which I found to be spacious and everything I really needed as a solo traveler, the family room was perfect. There are many hotels in the area, but honestly, I don’t think I would choose to stay anywhere else. A special thank you to the staff at breakfast, incredibly professional and efficient.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel in any way. There was a lot of noise from the walking street, so we couldn't sleep at all in the evening and at night. The wifi connection kept dropping out, which was very frustrating, but of course, less important than the overall stay. The pool was difficult to get to, and there was only one sunbed. The cleaning lady forgot to lock the door to our room after cleaning since we had been out for a whole day, which felt really unsafe. In addition, a few extra kilos were added for the payment of our laundry, which is not acceptable at all. The staff were generally very poor at English, especially at the reception, so we got almost no help with our questions. I would strongly recommend finding another hotel in Chiang Mai, as you can easily find a better one in the same price range. The rooms were okay, but the noise and the noise from the street until 02:00-03:00 every single day, unfortunately ruins the experience.

Mooie ruime kamers, iedere dag opgeruimd. Sanitair heeft wel een update nodig. Transver van en naar het vliegveld geen gebruik van gemaakt. Slechte communicatie daarmee. Dus uiteindelijk zelf een taxi geboekt. Terugweg ook niet. Gaat maar 1 x in de twee uur. Personeel kan wel wat vriendelijker. Zeggen niet veel.

This is a charming place with a nice atmosphere in an excellent location for the Night Bazaar. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful - The rooms had character if a little dated, but that is hardly an issue. Shower was great with a step and the bathroom a decent size and pleasant. The balcony though small was lovely with good views of the surrounding area.I often enjoyed the pool on my own and found it delightful. Breakfast was adequate - a bit basic for me, but those who prefer Asian style breakfasts will be happier. The decor in lobby was a little kitsch and over the top with artificial flowers, but that is subjective. The most important reason i recommend this Hotel is the awesome value for money - comfort, location and facilities make it an amazing choice - if you want to save funds and be in a good location in Chiang Mai and walk easily everywhere and have access to the major sights, then this is a number 1 choice.
