While one of the 'better' Motel 6's I've stayed at, the rooms and motel are in need of upgrades that cleaning won't cover. The pool area should be repurposed. Motels with similar pricing offer a breakfast of some sort.

This is a typical Motel 6, good value but on a busy street with no special qualities. Parking is terrible and you may have to take your chances in the empty lot next door. The clientele are variable, mostly families and working people so it's generally quiet by 11 PM. Maintenance leaves something to be desired with poor caulking around the tub, rough and poorly painted sections on spots of the walls, sticking front door, etc. However, the unit was clean and well equipped with microwave, fridge and coffee machine. For short-term or overnight stays, it's a convenient and relatively inexpensive choice.

This is a true motel with no lobby, two stories so you need to take the stairs if you’re on the second floor. Don’t want the exterior of the building because the room was very clean and comfortable.

The motel was fine but I'm not impressed that, although there is a pool advertised in the photos, the pool is currently full of rocks and unusable. I booked this motel so my son could have fun in the pool and was extremely disappointed to find out the pool isn't there anymore.

Love the location… close proximity to Rock the Kootenays venue… limited parking… unable to enjoy sitting outside due to profuse smokers outside the doors to our room… room amenities good, full size refrigerator!

You need to update your photos. Your pictures showed a pool which we thought we might use. In place of pool was a pile of rocks. No smoking in rooms but people smoking just outside rooms so we couldn’t sit outside. Rooms bit in need of updating, but bed appeared clean & bed comfortable. Bath tub in need of repair but you could shower. There was no tub plug so bath out of the question. Surrounding grout on tub unclean & broken apart. Sorry I would not stay here again & I felt what we saw on line was not what we got. We arrived after 4 pm so it was too late to cancel. Thank you, the Parsons, Kelowna , BC

Clean with all the basic necessities. Enjoyed our kitchenette room. Noise from the parking lot woke us up every morning. A bit tight finding a parking space in the parking lot though.

The staff was friendly but the Motel was cheap at every turn not enough towels, dishes or cutlery. The biggest disappointment was that they showed pictures of a pool when we get there it was filled in with rocks and weeds. They also showed pictures of a snack/ice room with vending machine it was closed.

Photos on expedia shows a pool, the pool is filled in and hasn't been available for over 7 years. Kind of false advertising. But it is a inexpensive motel so fit the budget.

The beds were like rocks, the walls were dirty ( like dead bugs squished to them) the tub looked like it wasn’t throughly cleaned( maybe just wiped down)

I don’t think I have ever been in such a filthy room in my life. It was disgusting. The floors, walls, light switches, bed cover had cigarette burns on it. The door didn’t seal properly so the floor was always cold. The bathroom was small, extremely dirty, the toilet faced the sink, you were inches away from it. Outside was a mud pit. I asked to be put in a pet room and this is what he gave me. It was beyond gross.

The front desk staff was extremely kind and helpful. Unfortunately, i would never stay with them again. The bedding in my room was dirty, the tub seemed to not be scrubbed and it smelled and the sink in the bathroom was not draining properly. To top it off, i put the do not disturb sign on my room door so no one would be coming in and they still came in. They took all the towels but did not replace them and they also did not take out anu garbage and we were left woth out trash out whole stay. I wpild rather pay an extra 100 a night then ever stay here again.

Very dirty and old mould very dirty walls and doors bathroom tub peeling and filthy. Check in staff very nice i can't recall payment before you stay even with a credit card on file. If I had not paid I would have left.

Well let's start with the PROS. - Good price -Check in was quick and staff polite -Right on the strip and close to amenities - Rooms are nice and clean -Decent size fridge and microwave in the room -Wifi was excellent. I was able to stream using my Chrombook hooked to the TV with HDMI cord just fine. I was also able to game online just fine. One of the best WiFi I have encountered at a hotel or motel -coffee in room was good as well. Now for the CONS - It's winter and I enter my room and it's an ice box. Heat is off....not turned down...off. it took a few hours for the room to warm up because the heater isn't very efficient. (They could definitely maybe put a baseboard heater in the bathroom as well) Staff should perhaps turn the heat on in rooms that are booked a couple hours before their 3pm check in time as well -Hot water takes forever to get to room 138. Had to run both taps several minutes to finally get hot water to shower. -Bathroom exhaust fan in 138 wasn't working either.

This was the perfect stop to rest our heads after a long drive. The room was equipped with a kitchenette, a bedroom, lots of space to put our stuff and a bathroom. It was comfy, easy, and great value for the price. Would stay again!

Very dated motel with older furniture. Bathroom fixtures were clean but walls, doors and window sills had not been cleaned for a while by the looks of the dirt on them. Beds were comfortable with fresh sheets. Surprised that there were no USB ports for device charging. Convenient location and walkable to restaurants.

Paid for rooms through Expedia which I didn't get. Substitution was sub-standard. When you pay through Expedia instead of renting directly from the hotel, you cannot be compensated. We had issues with the toilet only flushing 70% of the time. The kitchen sink was slow draining. I run hot soapy water through it, before we checked out. Front desk staff did not want to believe our issues, thought we were angling for compensation, when we only wanted these issues checked out, before the room was rented out again. Have stayed at this motel in the past & was very happy with it. But definitely not this time.

It was a big disappointment that they put us on the 2nd floor. I specifically said we needed a Ground floor due to my friend's mobility issues. They wouldn't change anything for us and as I had already paid, we had to accept what they gave us, which meant about 16+ stairs to make multiple trips up. Not too happy. If they had let us know that they couldn't accomodate our requests, we could have made a better choice.

The cleaning staff forces housekeeping on you. Even when do not disturb sign is on. Was working night shift and they woke me up at noon and yelled at me that its been too long without housekeeping (2 days) I mentioned I leave for work at 5pm and get home around 5am but they didnt seem to care.

Owner reamed out a customer while I was waiting to check out, for cancelling his stay for the next night even though they offer a full refund on cancellations before 4pm, This was 6 am, long before 4pm where he would have plenty of time to re-rent the room. Plus every room in the city was booked full, so there was no worry about renting the room again. He lost two future customers that day.

Low cost hotel in the heart of Cranbrook. The room was very nice and very spacious. It was exactly what I was looking for in a quick one-night stay. There's a few restaurants nearby and the mall/movie theater is about a 10-15 walk up the street.

When booking it showed having a pool, it also listed continental breakfast. The room had cracks, especially in the bathroom. The fridge had no freezer, yet when i stored my food in the fridge it was half frozen the next morning. Painting needed to be done, and the parking is horrible, but in the end we just needed a place to rest, the visitors were all friendly. Travelling back home and through towns, all the motel 6's were beautiful, clean, doesnt make sense. We did have a great time in Cranbrook though and would visit again, thanks.

A reasonable place to stay due to the lower price. A kitchenette is nice to have. Space has been updated but still shows significant signs of age and isn’t entirely clean. No breakfast. It’s not terrible but I’d probably pick somewhere else next time.
