Found the the previous travellers used thong in the room. Was told a manager would call to discuss this, but no call. Makes you question how well the rooms are cleaned if something like a dirty thong can be overlooked under a foot stool.

There were ants all over the nightstand and even a few in the bed when we woke up. The coffee machine is in the bathroom, which is the strangest choice I've ever seen in a hotel. Not a chance I'm going to use that device when there are possible fecal particles on it. So strange. Breakfast was nice and the staff were wonderful.

Unfortunately this Inn markets itself as a modern property. While it does a solid job providing a clean room, much of the facility smelled like cigarette smoke. This was experienced by other family members who I was visiting with for a wedding. I informed the front desk that my room smelled like smoke and they offered me some kind of spray to help. Management never even followed up on my complaint. This Inn should be no more than $100 a night.

The Stonecroft was a great place to stay during a family visit. The rooms are very clean and newly renovated. The staff were friendly and the continental breakfast was great with quite a few options. We have stayed at this hotel 3 different times and were satisfied. There are plenty of dining options next door and within walking distance and a Walmart within a 5 minute walk if you need to grab anything. There is a bar sized fridge in the rooms but unfortunately no microwave. There is a microwave in the breakfast lobby if needed, however.

Very disappointed. Walls were paper thin, so could hear other visitors abundantly. Visitor parking was right beside our window and a rude patron kept honking his/her horn btw 5 and 7am, as they unlocked and locked their vehicle. I said that this had kept me awake and I requested a late checkout, and informed desk that I have a disability that disrupts sleep as well. I had a 5 hour drive home. Response was “Sorry, we have 40 rooms to clean, there are no late checkouts for any reason”. I suppose common sense evaded that with that many rooms, they could start with the first 30? When we checked out on time, actually leaving the hotel, THEN we were told oh by the way, the manager of custodial said it was okay to have a late checkout. Also, refrigerated froze fruit and berries solid overnight…$45.00 worth ruined. Shower leaked and wallpaper falling off walls due to moisture in bathroom.

Staff unwilling, at first, to accommodate payment method, would not accept cash, customer was unable to obtain a copy of the credit card. Customers have travelled 12 hours and were kept at the front reception until payment method had been sorted out, despite the fact that staff had credit card info on file but requested additional documents which were unattainable at the time. Not customer friendly :-(

WONDERFUL STAFF/ CLEAN AND SPACIOUS ROOMS We have stayed at the Stonecroft Inn several times when in Windsor. It is always clean and the staff are friendly and accommodating. The rooms we've stayed in have been updated. The beds are super comfortable! Despite being on a busy street, there is not too much street noise. We were pleasantly surprised when our room was upgraded from a king to an executive king with a kitchenette! Although the breakfast is continental style, they do have fresh fruit and yogurt options in addition to the cereals and toasted bread varieties. There is a Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House a short walk away for those that want a heartier breakfast. This last visit we were there for my Mother's Celebration of Life. We wanted a space to gather and look through photos. The breakfast area tables were the perfect spot for our group! The concierge even made us a fresh pot of coffee even though it was early afternoon. We really appreciated the kindness and attention to detail. Stonecroft Inn is our go-to hotel when we travel to Windsor!
