Good location. Rooms were clean. Could use some updating of fixtures. The electrical outlets were old and need to be replaced because they were loose and some plugs would fall out. Good value for money if you are staying one or two nights. Continental breakfast area was a bit small but seemed to work.

The property was very very old. All the fixtures and appliances were from a different era. Limited options for breakfast. The hotel needs serious upgrades unless the owners want to advertise it as antique heritage.

Location, location, location. It’s the best about Lexington Inn & Suites Windsor. Free breakfast from 6 to 9 am, is the second good thing going for our stay here. Number 3 is its cooling and heating system per room. Next good thing is the bed itself. Finally, all the staff members - from front desk to housekeeping - are courteous and helpful. Only downside is hotel room is getting old, dusty and a bit rusty here and there. And if other hotel guests are taking shower at the same time, water can get too cool for comfort. BOTTOMLINE: we would stay here again the next time we’re in Windsor.

There was shower supplies in the shower from the past guest. So it was not cleaned obviously. Also they did not use fitted sheets at all, Just normal sheets on the bottom, I did not realize that. When I woke up I was on the mattress cover. So I mentioned it to the front desk and he told me they don’t use fitted sheets because of the mattress cover. Well I explained that’s not ok because I woke up on the mattress cover, He didn’t see the problem. I asked him if they wash the mattress cover and he responded no we don’t thats why we have a sheet. Then I had to re-explain that they need to use fitted sheets so the guests don’t wake up on the mattress cover from the regular sheets shifting throughout the sleep. He played stupid like he didn’t get it. I don’t even work in the industry and I understand more than the staff at this establishment. Don’t stay here as you will regret it.

We were thankful for being allowed to check in early. The room was nice, while some elements looked cheap it had great features, like a fridge, microwave, basic coffee maker. You can hear well any noise, though, so when a motorcycle started behind our window in the middle of the night it was annoying. It's also a pity that although forbidden some guests obviously smoke - smelled it passing certain rooms while walking along the corridor. Our room smelled quite OK luckily.

TV in our room didn't work (maybe the batteries in the remote were dead). Told clerk at checkout. Dated. Dead light bulb. No way to charge my cell phone as I didn't bring a plug in adaptor. Handle on shower broken. Grab bar on wall didn't look like it had been cleaned an a long time. Long black hair on lampshade of lamp with dead bulb. Staff were friendly. Easy to get to. I'm trying to give some positives.

Room was spacious and linens were clean. There was a musty smoky smell in the room that seems like it’s been there forever. The floors were dirty behind the front door. Good for the price but leaves a lot left to be desired.

Biggest problem was cleanliness. I can’t add the photos here, not sure why. Otherwise I could have shown how it looks. The breakfast is really limited and can be way better. Literally the place across the street serves way better complimentary breakfast than this property. Wifi doesn’t work with the password provided. Wasn’t a very pleasant stay.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Immediately helped us get into the room when I locked the key inside. This hotel was quiet & felt safe and secure. The area was convenient and short drive/ walking distance to what we needed. There was a city issue with water, but the staff were kind and did what they could to help. Resolved as quickly as they were able. Rooms are fine. The mattresses were very comfortable. Extra shampoos and soaps supplied on request. Friendly atmosphere - allowed us to visit as a group in the foyer. Would return.

I would love to give a review of the Lexington Hotel but I was always taught that if you do not have something nice to say then don’t say anything at all. Honestly the problem with the Lexington was 4 days out of 4 days we arrived back to our room that had not been touched by housekeeping. The first day we complained and they made the bed. The following three days they did nothing. No clean towels no beds made up absolutely nothing. Completely unacceptable as one of the joys of staying in a hotel is coming back to a clean room with clean towels and made beds. Horrible experience staying at the Lexington.

The entire hotel had no water for about 9 hours, this meant no flushable toilets. I reported the issue and they should have immediately called an emergency city hotline, emergency plumber, and called for emergency portta potties etc. they did nothing. The hotel lied and told different stories of what happened and the plumber confirmed the issue with me in the morning and his story wasn’t the same as the hotels version. The hotel compensated an entire night for some people but not everyone and that is wrong!!! Everyone should have been compensated. We had to go to McDonalds i. The middle of the night to use the bathroom and again first thing in the morning. I can live without a shower but a flushing toilet with 4 people in your room is a necessity and this was a major inconvenience. It is unacceptable how the hotel manager handled the situation.

The morning staff was very pleasant and I liked the fact that its in a convenient area with dollarama gas station and restaurant nearby. However I will NEVER stay there again! 1. On the first night of staying there the toilet was clogged. I reported it to the front desk just to be told that I have to clear it myself because there is no one at that time to do it. No one followed up to see if the problem was solved the following day. 2. On the second day after taking a shower I discover that the hair dryer was not working. So I went to the front desk to ask for another after some time of the housekeeper and the frontdesk guy arguing on where to get it. I finally got one just to return to the room to find out that the breaker had shut off. 3. I reported it to the front desk just for then to have it fixed on the 3rd day which was checkout. Stay if you want but its a no for me!
