it's called a hotel & spa, my wife was going to book the spa, it was closed until further notice. The hot tub was not working, big part of why we booked this hotel was for the hot tub. stayed there a few times before, it was much better. where told at the front desk that other people were not impressed about the hot tub not working.

Stayed for 2 nights during a show at the casino. Staff was friendly. Hotel overall seemed clean The pool and hot tub were awful. You couldn’t see the bottom of the pool and the hot tub had a scum over it when not in use. When people were in there was a good six inches of foam. Needless to say we didn’t use those amenities. Too bad reallly. Otherwise it was fine

Fromt desk staff was awesome. We were offered an upgrade on our room which wasn’t expected, but definitely appreciated. Biggest issue was parking - lots of large vehicles which made parking challenging due to sizes of the spots in front of the hotel.

My husband and my stay at the Casino New Brunswick was wonderful! We were only there for one night, but we would definitely like to go for a longer stay. The staff were courteous, approachable and friendly. We had a Deluxe Room with 1 King Bed and it was beautiful! The shower was enormous with a safety bar to grab if you were unsteady, plus the toiletries were unscented! The bed was the first King we had ever slept in and it was amazing; so soft and so much room!!!!! There were only a couple small things we found mildly annoying. The first was that we had to park behind the building because there was not enough parking. To be fair, there was some sort of concert happening in the centre attached to the hotel, so this makes sense. It was just annoying. Also, the lack of any room service was a bit annoying, however, this was listed in the facility details when we looked at the fine print. When I asked the front desk staff if there was anything like even champagne to the rooms, I was told no, but she did look sincerely apologetic and told me where I could find an open liquor store that was close by. I was delighted that she had a solution ready. Overall, we had a fabulous stay and would love to go again for a longer stay to try other ammenities like the pub in the attached casino as well as the pool/hot tub and maybe even check out a show at the centre. Amazing job Casino New Brunswick and beautiful recommendation Expedia!

When we arrived we were met with surcharges that had not be mentioned when booking on Expedia. The bathroom smelt like mildew and mold, the shower felt like a public shower at a pool, the bathroom vent looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months if not years. The bed had someone else’s hair on it, and I had to convince them it was true so I could get new sheets and had to make the bed myself. There was one helpful woman, who the casino can thank because thanks to her willingness to believe us we were able to locate the burning plastic smell in our room, resolve the issues with the coffee machine and get us fresh sheets. The biggest issue we would of had were cleanliness and extra charges, this is not what I would of expected from a premium hotel.

The room we were originally assigned to was absolutely disgusting! The smell of smoke and humidity were the first thing that caught us off-guard when we opened our door. Then the lamp shades and the chairs around the small table had seen better days, let alone the pieces of wood missing from the bedframe. If I wouldn't know any better, it's almost like a 90's band had a party in there and then left the place in a complete mess! We were finally moved to another room after making up a story about fear of heights, and then moved to the ground floor. That room was a little better, but dear God, I would NEVER stay there again! You can get so much nicer and cheaper in and around the area.

When we came to check-in there were two people working the front desk. One of them simply kept answering the phone rather than helping the people lined up in front of her and at no point did she inform the people in line that she wasn’t going to be assisting them. Eventually, after answering her third call in a row and ignoring the guests in front of her, everyone moved over to the back of the other line and had to start their wait over. I understand needing to answer the phone, but at least inform the people standing in front of you that you won’t be assisting them. Also, help the guest IN your hotel before using resources to help people calling for future dates.

It took close to an hour of standing in line to do the check in. This is not reasonable, the process needs to be improved or have more staff on hand to get the check in done. Also, at 7 pm we were listening to music in our room and we received a call from the front desk that our music was too loud. Funny, as I had not turned the volume down to answer the phone and the receptionist was able to hear me talking and I could hear her very clearly also. I would say it was probably the same volume as if we would have been watching tv. Not a great experience!

Buffet was mediocre. not worth the $65.00. The bartender did not know how to make a proper old fashioned or a Sicilian Kiss even though we gave him instructions. The restaurant doesn't open until 10:30 a.m. We were told if we wanted breakfast to go to IHOP. The shower has stains on the ceramic floor. I am being generous with 2 stars out of five.
