The hot tub has been out of action for over one month, but no one informed us of this beforehand. The rooms do not have opening windows, even though I emailed the hotel prior to arriving and asked to be informed if this was the case. They did not allow a late check out even though they were mostly empty. There was no buffet breakfast available and we were only allowed one choice from the order only breakfast menu. The single choices ranged in costs between $10 and $15 whilst the buffet cost $20, hence this cost more than the buffet, however, no compensation was offered for this. As both people staying are vegetarian, we required the choice that the buffet offered, and hence would not have stayed here if all this was known in advance.

The staff were all very friendly. The machine that codes the key cards was down when we got there so we had to rely on our digital key to get in our room. The room controls didn’t work through the Hilton app. The room was clean, the pool was wonderful. We did not see anything in the hotel listing, but parking is $15/day.

We had such a wonderful experience. The staff and restaurant was wonderful. Room was comfortable even the air conditioner made loud noises. The only issue the pool and hot tub were yucky. The area was super hot ( unbearable) and the pool very cloudy like there was something wrong with the filter or smell like mildew. If they update their pool area than I would give it a higher rating.

A lot construction throughout the hotel plus the elevators were very noisy and you could hear people's conversations. Otherwise it was a nice stay. Eateries were close by as well.

Our room was clean. No complaints there. The women's restroom in the lobby was out of order so we used the men's. It was FILTHY. The whole hotel is hot. In the halls, in the lobby, in the elevator. The ice machine on our floor was broken so we had to go to another floor and endure the painstakingly slow elevator. The pool was nice and warm but there were no towels ... Like none at all apparently. They couldn't even spare us new bath towels to take down. So we went back to our room dripping wet. The hot tub was hot but I would not put more than my legs in because it was murkey and very "mineralized". The water accumulated around the hot tub was a mineral green. I booked the hotel for that amenity alone and was sad to find out we couldn't enjoy it (I'm sensitive to poorly maintained hot tubs). Wasn't a horrible experience, just not the best.

I would have to say my stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta Airport North was just OK. The main reason why I say that is because, I didn't realize the hotel was under renovations until I arrived. The gentlemen at the front desk was very helpful to me, as far as my room accommodations go. The pictures on the website didn't really match certain parts of the hotel. So, the first room didn't look like what I purchased online. So, the guy changed my room, and it was better. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was very clean. The best part about my stay was it was very quiet, which is what I needed. The hot tub wasn't working, which was a disappointment, and there was a flood on one of the lower floors, so I had to wait for them to turn the water back so I could take a shower. The restaurant in the lobby was also not what I expected. But the service at the restaurant was very good, and so was the food. The shuttle service to and from the airport was great. And there were some nice restaurants in the area, near the hotel. Overall, on a scale of 1-10, I would rate my stay at a 7. I'm not sure if I would stay at this hotel again, but if I do, it would have to be after renovations are completed.

Staff was courtesy, rooms were nice, showers had extra hot water, however the breakfast was really lacking and the fire alarms continually went off throughout the entire building, even at 2 am, 3 am, and 4 am. Also hot tub was broken and not working.

The room was as expected, but the toilet wasn't flushed upon entering the room and the AC unit wouldn't shut off the entire time no matter if it was set to off or not. The indoor pool was so hot it was like a sauna and we couldn't stay very long because we were sweating in the water.

The room was extremely stuffy and strongly had a smell of mildew. There were no trash bags in the trash cans. When we checked in we were supposed to be told to call housekeeping if we wanted our room clean we were never told that when we checked in. When I came downstairs and asked a housekeeping staff member to see if they could collect the trash and just leave some towels and wash cloths no one ever came. We had trash in our room from Thursday evening to Saturday morning. I can tell this is a property that im guessing Hilton just bought out and slapped there name on it, but it definitely needs upgrades I dont usually complain about hotel stays, but i did feel uncomfortable having my family in the room for the short time we were there. Luckily we did not stay in the room for long periods of time due to us being there for a church event. Not sure if this review will do anything but Hilton has to do better and be mindful what they attach their name to.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was nice, however the AC wouldn’t cool the room past 71 degrees despite maintenance working on it. The bathroom wasn’t the best, the glass shower doors didn’t want to stay closed when using and there was hair from the previous person on the shower wall and the bathroom counter.

The room I picked (single king) was dirty when ot was assigned to me. The bed was not made and all the towels were on the floor in a pile. I was assigned another room immediately but my replacement room a double queen room. While the replacement room was bigger the door did notopen or close without making an extremely loud noise.

Check in was great, but when i got to my room, I noticed that the bayhroom had not been cleaned, there were no hand towels, no extra bath towels or wash rags. The counter was dirty and there were parts of false eyelalshes stuck to the counter and one of the garbages throughout the room had been emptied. I told the front desk and she said she would let housekeeping know. I stayed in the restaurant for almost an hour and when I returned to the room nothing had been done. I was also told that because im an Honors member, i would get comped and I was not. Also, during the toilet paper holder fell off the wall. When I checked out, I brought everything to the attention of the front desk who said she would let the housekeeping manager know. On a positive note, I did eat in the restaurant and the food and service were fantastic!

The room smelled and was very humid the whole stay. When we arrived, one of the counters had old sticky dirty coffee stains. The shower had hair on the walls too. The bed covers were dirty as well as the towels. When we requested more bed covers & towels (same night we arrived), we were given a thin bedsheet and no towels. We made it work with the one bedsheet as a cover unfortunately but when we asked for towels the next day they still said they were out of towels. Staff was nice but would never stay here again.

The restrooms off of the lobby smelled of urine and old mop water, and the 1 elevator they have is extremely slow. As for my room, it was painfully obvious that the sheets hadn't been changed after the previous guest check out bc there was what appread to be blood and other stains on the sheets abd pillow cases. The bathtub faucet was dripping, there was hair on the shower walls, and the ironing board completely fell apart, when I attempted to iron my clothes. The absolute only reason our family chose this facility is its proximity to the airport and the indoor pool. However there was so much chemicals in the pool the kids complained their eyes were burning. Upon closer look at the water, it was murky and you couldn't even see the bottom. The water in the hot tub was tinted green, so we were sure to stay away from it. I would absolutely not recommend anyone stay at this hotel. Choose one of the other three in the same parking lot or across the street.

Room 717 09/24/23, went up to the 7th floor and the key wouldnt work, went back down to get replacement, when finally in the room turned the ac unit on, smoke started coming out of it & triggered the smoke alarm, the room had a STRONG MILDEW SMELL. This are pictures of the a/c unit you can clearly see mold and rust on it. Elevator sounds like its breaking. Overall just a very bad experience.

The room had a broken shelf in the shower when I got there. There was a flickering light bulb in the entry way fixture. There was a USB outlet that was burning up due to a coffee maker being plugged into it. The dooe looked like it had been pryed open a few times. My room was under the laundry room. I heard every load that was being washed and dried. There was a dog down the hall that wouldn't stop barking for two days. I just started laughing after thinking about how crazy this stay was. I got just enough sleep for my race.

I stayed here for a couple of nights and had a positive experience. The room was great. It very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The bed was comfortable, and the heating/cooling unit worked well. The TV had a good selection of channels and was easy to use, too. I also used the gym, and it was clean and well-maintained. The front desk agent, Tiara, was awesome! Really friendly, efficient, and helpful. It’s also really close to the airport and right off the highway. The property was undergoing some sort of renovation, so it wasn’t in the best shape as a result. Some of the exterior doors didn’t work, and the front desk was a temporary set up, for example.

I do enjoy staying at this hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only reason I couldn't give a 5 star is due to the very loud AC unit that disturbed my sleep and the issues with internet connection on the tv. Also the elevator needs to be cleaned.

We were on the third floor of the hotel. They were clearly remodeling which is fine. However their room was not finished. There was still blue tape. And the shower curtain was old. There were still holes in the wall from maintenance. The positive is that the furniture was new but clearly the room was under repair. We absolutely loved our stay at this Hilton. The hotel was very clean with lots of updates- the onsite restaurant was friendly and open with reasonably priced, good options. The staff were so warm & welcoming. My kids loved talking to the front desk staff as we passed by. I was a mom traveling alone with 2 kids and felt safe, comfortable and we would definitely stay again.

When I arrived, my room/bathroom was clean, but smelled like marijuana. The TV was on. The bed was made, honestly it seemed like maybe an employee went in the room to hang out, watch TV and smoke weed. I went to the front desk to request a new room and was told they didn't have any available rooms. I couldn't be moved until the next day. I am allergic to smoke so this was a major issue for me. I was exhausted so I accepted it and I was moved the next day to a clean room. My next issue occurred when I contacted Expedia (Expedia was very apologetic and tried to assist me), and they reached out to the hotel to request an approval of a refund for the one night I had to stay in a smoke filled room. While the general staff was accommodating, they told me that the manager would have to approve my refund. The manager never contacted or followed up with Expedia to approve my refund, never contacted me, and never assisted me after my incident with the smoky room (this was supposed to be a non-smoking hotel). The issue is not Expedia, the general staff or even the accommodations (the hotel was nice and enjoyable once I was removed to a better room). The issue is the lack of follow up from the manager.

The staff was outstanding in taking care of us. We had been stranded at the airport due to the storm Friday night in Atlanta. I made the reservation and we went to the room early in the morning as we had spent the night at the airport - not fun. We crashed in the lobby until a room was ready and we weren't the only ones. Morgan did a great job taking care of all of us - she wrote our names down and as soon as a room was ready, she would get someone in there and off the list. She was very accommodating and pleasant to work with. She never gave us a hard time for sleeping in the lobby. It was a chaotic weekend and she made it better! I would stay here again.

Staff at the property needs more training. I had the cleaning lady walk in as I was preparing to leave the building which was around 9 A.M and the checkout wasn’t until 12:00 P.M. The waitress who served us during breakfast was rude. The front desk staff could me a little more warm and friendly.

A few things to note: The free shuttle runs every 30 minutes which I believe is pretty fair. However, the shuttle only runs to the domestic terminal so if you have an international flight and are not familiar with the shuttle system at ATL, just book an Uber for ease of mind. We stayed as a park and fly option. Our hotel stay was fine, but when we returned home from our trip, the shuttle back to the hotel (at 9pm on 3/29/24) was a fiasco. We had to wait a long time for the shuttle, and when it came, the driver was beyond rude. He yelled-no screamed-at passengers (including children and elderly) to back up from the curb as he was pulling in. Then the back door was broken and all luggage had to go up front with lack of available seats. The driver was rude, drove aggressively as many of us were standing, and made minimal efforts to help with all of the luggage. I would not do this stay again just because of the really bad shuttle experience on our return to come back to our vehicle.

When my flight was canceled, wanted someplace nearby with airport shuttle service and this fit the bill. Not a very safe neighborhood but I never left the hotel except on the shuttle so did not matter much. The burger at the hotel eatery was good and the room was comfortable.

Our check in was fine...the room was great! The service staff at the dInner was horrible. Rude and un helpful. They do this every night...they have to remember their guests have never been there before. Sorry my questions were time consuming. Early morning shuttle and the same woman was opening...sorry my husband asked for coffee...she was quite put out and refused to respond to my thank you...which was genuine!

While booking I searched hotels with a hot tub, the hot tub didn’t seem to be working. The main light in the room didn’t work so it was dark. 2 lamps worked out of the whole room. Stains on the chair. The phone didn’t have a dial tone idk why it was there it was missing a lot of buttons. The hotel listed breakfast included at booking I found out the following morning that’s an additional expense. There were also only a few options for the air. It was fairly hot. Over all I could have picked a better hotel. I was safe and the beds did seem clean.

Liked the staff for dining. They were helpful and polite. Food was average. Same breakfast everyday. The hotel and staff overall was poor. First encounter and throughout stay. Transportation was not every 30 minutes, front desk staff unprofessional, damages upon entrance, had to change room to a room that had an odor, had 1 towel and phone not working with noisy guest. Issues were somewhat resolved. I used my spray to tolerate smell and guest continued noise. There was no apologies and there was rudeness. We were offered free breakfast that already prepaid for. And refused to give a credit due to how reservation was obtained. The hotel also needs upgrades in rooms and other places. The jacuzzi was dirty also. I would not recommend hotel!!
