We had a great stay, stayed with a platinum elite member so got upgraded. Rooms were clean but the facility is a little run down. Very big hotel with lots of people. Starbucks took over 40 min for a coffee.

This stay couldn't have been better. The hotel was busy due to everyone in town attending the Beyoncé concert, and the check-in line was long. However, they moved people through quickly and were very personable and helpful as well. Stunning view from our room on the 39th floor! Only regret is not having more time to spend there to take advantage of the pool and hot tub!

I didn't like how dirty the pool area is, the concrete patio and building needs a good power washer, the sun loungers are in need of maintenance / tighting the nuts and bolts when you lay back the tops half of the lounger falls someone is going to get hurt. Check- in and Check- out was quick and easy... service was amazing.... cleaning service was not the best we had to call for towels and face and body cloths... valet parking was amazing and I like the system and how it worked, made it very convenient to get the car. Now valet parking was extremely too expensive at $60 a day, please find other parking. The location is amazing and was very easy to travel the city. I would stay again just alter a few things and enjoy more of the amenities provided by Marriott as far as food, pool and bar. Also the property was under construction but it didn't take away from any amenities the property offered. I would refer this property

The bathroom smelled terrible in our room when we first arrived. The smoke alarm was missing the top part so everything was exposed. There was a convention until all hours of the night in the main lobby complete with dj and obnoxiously loud guests. The lights in our room keep going out (flickering constantly). House keeping? Not until the day before our check out (3 night stay). Then to top it off someone was cleaning our exterior windows at 9am it literally sounded like someone was banging on the glass trying to break it. The only saving grace was the concierge they were extremely welcoming but I won’t be back for another stay. Save your money

Very disappointed with my stay. The room was somewhat nice but it was not very cleaned. Make sure to check the blankets because they can be dirty and stained with dry blood (yes shocking!!) If you call customer service to get the blankets changed dont expect an apology for the inconvenience. Be ready to be ripped off by the valet parking fee. It is extremely expensive for no reason, 60 bucks a night! Dont waist your time and money having breakfast either, it is not good and the service is very slow. I honestly don't recommend this hotel, first time staying at a Marriott and it was such a huge disappointment. Save your money and the headache and stay somewhere else.

The hotel is a landmark! Besides the architecture, the other truly extraordinary thing about this property is that you have to pay for wifi. Who does that? McDonald's has free wifi. Staff were fine. The room was nice. The view was spectacular. It's affordable. A solid pick.

We were awakened three nights in a row between 3 - 5 am by the hotel alarm which lasted for a long time. Several minutes later, we were awoken again by a recording advising us to "resume normal hotel activities" - which would have been sleeping. Just a terrible stay. We're exhausted.

There was a staff member named Lynn I believe but she was very nasty & rude when I checked in the hotel. I never leave bad reviews but the accomodations & service was terrible. I booked a king size room & they gave me a double bed room. The tell me they wouldn't accept my PayPal debit card & I had to buy a gift card from their kiosk take money out of the ATM to upload on a gift card. That didn't make any sense at all. Who accepts a gift card but not a debit card? Then Lynn told me I didn't have a card with a real bank, it was totally unprofessional. I told her I have 3 debit cards but only 1 with me then she said I can't do tap or apple pay only the gift card option or I couldn't check in my room. That is a complete rip off! It took forever to check in & they didn't do anything to accommodate the inconvenience for giving someone else the king room I booked. I will literally never stay here again, one & DONE!!!!

This was a nice hotel. However, the check in experience was absolutely awful. It was the day of the Beyoncé concert and the line to check in was a mile long, there wasn’t enough clerks, and once you for up to the front the process took forever. I felt like I was buying my first house. It was frustrating that our room wasn’t ready 30 minutes before the standard check in time and we had to wait in line AGAIN to get our key. The hotel should’ve been more prepared for a crown like this. For this reason, I will not stay at this hotel again when attending an event in downtown Atlanta.

We really enjoyed our stay! The aesthetic as we pulled up was lovely! We could access the Marta and mall without exiting hte hotel - we took a short skybridge walk. We would DEFINITELY stay here again in the future. The beds were comfy, nice bathroom set up etc.

Stayed at the Marquis for three nights and had a great experience. Clean, modern room with everything I needed. Wonderfully located close to the Peachtree MARTA station, which allowed me to easily reach the hotel from the airport via MARTA. Many dining options close by. I will return.

The hotel has changed alot since I last stayed there back in 2012. One thing, the room service person was a bit rude. Not pleasant on the phone at all. She sounded like I was disturbing her or something. Secondly, I remember when room service meant a rolling trolley with a white tablecloth, dinnerware, glasses, salt and pepper shakers, napkins, etc. Instead this guy shows up and shoves a bag at me like he was delivering from Door Dash or Uber Eats. What the heck happened to in-room dining?? The TV had issues in that it wasn't calibrated properly. The color balance was way off so skin tones looked super reddish. I don't know...this is NOT the Marriott Marquis I remember.

For the money it is a bit dated. The shower curtain was moldy, the beds had major divots and it was hit or miss if your coffee pods were refilled or room serviced. The lobby bar was severely overpriced at 20 bucks a drink. The sundry shop was no better $50 for a $10 bottle of wine and $11 for a 12oz bottle of domestic beer. There was also a lot of garbage around the entrance.

Really really nice property. The breakfast at The Sear Restaurant was awesome. The cook was very interactive, clean was sure not to cross contaminate the food despite making several perfect orders at one time.

The carpet in the corridors and around the elevators stink like sewage. The carpet in the rooms is old and stinks as well. While sitting in the room you get random smells of sewage. I stayed on the 21st floor and could hear people talking as if they were in my room. You can also hear all the traffic as if you were sleeping next to the road itself. The noise cancelling in the bedrooms in awful. It will be 1, 2. 3 and 4 am with a ton of car noises coming from the road below and its extremely loud. Don't bother swimming in the pool. Its so gross. Valet is a rip off. They make you pay 72 dollars for a full size car. And it takes valet 30 mins to an hours to bring your car back to the front entry. This hotel should not even be in the Marriott brand. Its more like a motel 6.
