Willkommen in der Zelle! Zimmer sind so winzig, dass man zu zweit nicht weiß, wohin mit Gepäck oder Kleidung ablegen. Es ist sauber, aber in allen Details unzureichend. Das Frühstücksbuffet mutet groß an, gibt aber kaum was her. Besonders die Thai-Gerichte waren der geschmackliche Abgrund. Einzig die Poolanlage mit anschließendem Strand kann überzeugen. Dagegen die Beachbar eine Frechheit. Preise wie im 5-Sterne-Resort. Dreifach gegenüber Restaurants in der Nähe und noch doppelt zur "Unhappy" Hour. Fazit: Das mit Abstand schlechteste von 6 Hotels der 3-Sterne- Kategorie.

Ibis är ett hotell för barnfamiljer och passade inte oss som par utan barn. Hotellet är av okej standard men vi hade inte bott här igen. Rummen är små men okej standard. Det första rummet vi fick luktade mögel och avlopp. Vi fick ett nytt rum som var okej. Städpersonalen är slarviga. Tre dagar i rad glömde de ge oss nya handdukar (de tog våra gamla men gav oss inga nya...) och de fyllde inte heller på handtvålen i badrummet. Tråkigt när man själv behöver gå till receptionen och be om dessa saker. Det finns två pooler, en för barn och en för vuxna. Det finns regler på området men som tyvärr gästerna inte följer. Vi tycker det är dåligt att personalen ser detta och aktivt väljer att inte säga till. T.ex. handlar det om att gäster röker trots förbud, barn badar i vuxenpoolen etc. Personalen är även dåliga på att hålla i ordning då de inte plockar undan disk/mat från borden vid solstolarna. Det lockar djur och ser inte trevligt ut. Räkna inte med att det finns en strand. Det är en stege ner från poolområdet och ingen strand du kan sola på. Frukosten är okej. Det är tråkigt att de inte använder "lock" för att skydda maten mot t.ex. flugor. Känns inte trevligt att äta. Hotellet låg beläget okej med bra gångavstånd till restauranger och marknaden.

I extended my stay as I was enjoying the experience. Not overly busy as still in the low season (early December) so nice & quiet around the pool area. Allocated a standard room with pool & sea view 3rd floor which was a bonus. No noise from other rooms. Clean rooms & a great shower! The Ibis has a small but well equipped gym & not overly busy. I paid for the breakfast once - a decent buffet (250 baht) with a chef who cooks your eggs to your request but I liked the walk to the independent restaurants & coffee shops more. Location is on the north Bo Phut beach - the last in a long chain that take you east towards Fisherman’s Village. Hotel is a short bus drive from north port (150 baht if coming in from other islands) or similar distance if arriving at Samui airport. An easy 15 minute walk to Fisherman’s Village especially the night markets that are running most nights. The hotel has its own beach front & is family friendly but provides privacy & quiet areas for adults. The pool has a bar with happy hour twice daily along with a beachside massage service.

Overall the hotel was clean and tidy and the pool/beach/facilities were all great. The only issues we had that would put us off going back are that there was only one plug and even with an extension lead was awkward getting everything charged/ironed etc and also the lack of storage space for clothing. I know this seems petty but we don't like living out of suitcases which we had to this holiday.

Really great hotel. Enjoyed that we could walk right onto the beach, and the pool area was awesome as well. Food at the restaurant was also very good. Would definitely recommend a stay here

The staff was friendly but it was hard to understand their English. I stayed for four nights and my room was humid and smelled like mold. The hotel and their buildings felt old and worn out, the cleaning could have been better and the overall impression. The hotel is located at the end of the strip of resorts meaning that you have to walk a bit to get to the hotel from the night market and restaurants at the beach. All of this reflects to the price you’re paying per night. However and you get a lot of hotel and large pool area for a cheap amount, compared to other resorts in Bo Phut.

The staff are wonderful, however, when I booked I had requested a seperate bed for myself and my toddler (so that I could put a mattress on the floor for him) but was only given a queen bed. The rooms are also very small with extremely limited places to put anything from your suitcase. The grounds are kept very clean and the restaurant snacks/meals are not too bad either

Clean, basic rooms in a well maintained hotel. The fire show was welcome surprise- check it out! Breakfast offered variety and the staff are super friendly. The pool is great and it’s on the beach. Taxi to Fisherman’s village was always easy and you could also walk there. Down side- rooms are basic with little storage space. They were very clean and well maintained though. Happy hour was accompanied by an hour of awful techno and lots of hell ringing. I wish they would drop this

Rooms smelled musky and had not been cleaned properly. Would struggle to fit two people on the balcony. Overpriced for what it is. Stayed in nicer for a better price. Staff were friendly but it’s the only thing good going for this hotel. The hotel could do with a refurbish / refresh. Location is ok. About a 20 min walk to fisherman’s village.

The room its self looked ok but there was an awful smell of mould and damp. My pillows had mould on them and when I unpacked all my clothes with in 2 days my clothes smelt terrible of an awful mould smell. The room was constantly damp even with the air con on. The food was standard but the fruit was warm and slushy. I believe this made my daughter quite poorly for 2 days. The beach was on accessible. It was full of rubbish and very dirty.

The service in the pool bar and restaurant was atrocious Had to be up by 7 if you wanted to get a sun bed Pools were really dirty and brown water came out of the shower and sink Would I stay here again definitely not 😡

The room was nice but small, the balcony could hardly fit one person,and the aircon was really loud! Plus for baby bed and we got extra pillows and covers as soon as we asked. And they cleaned the room allredy when we went down for breakfast! Got a room on 3rd floor in building 2, didn't have a guest elevator! (building 2 & 3), we got permission to use the one for staff, but that meant going trough they're back office so felt a bit weird. But 6 months pregnant and a toddler in trolley, we had to use it! Didn't get offered another room. The breakfast was good, but would have liked some cheese and cold cuts. Used the restaurant for lunches, and it took forever to get the food! (30-40 min) and it was not because they had many orders! Poolarea was good, steep stairs to the beach. Hardly any beach while we where there, and the first 3 days it was closed because of the weather. Not much around in close walking distance, but possible to walk to fisherman's village, otherwise take a cab.

Vi hadde et familierom (to rom med dør imellom) og bodde på hotellet i 16 døgn. Enkel standard, bra renhold. Nesten ingen plass til bagasjen (koffertene). Noe problemer med airconditionene på det ene rommet. Veldig hyggelig og imøtekommende betjening.

Værelset var i fin stand, men meget lille og meget lille altan hvor der ikke kunne sidde 2 personer. Pænt og rent, og meget venligt personale. God morgenbuffet. Vi bestilte juleaftensarrangement med stor buffet og musik på poolområdet. Maden var katastrofal dårlig, helt råt og sejt oksekød, og generelt dårlig kvalitet mad, musikken alt for høj, hvilket gjorde at gæsterne inkl. os selv gik derfra. Det startede kl. 18, og kl. 21 var der ikke flere gæster. Et dyrt arrangement, 900 Bath for mad pr. Person plus drikkevarer. Ellers var kvaliteten på maden generelt fint.

Clean, basic rooms in a well maintained hotel. The fire show was welcome surprise- check it out! Breakfast offered variety and the staff are super friendly. The pool is great and it’s on the beach. Taxi to Fisherman’s village was always easy and you could also walk there. Down side- rooms are basic with little storage space. They were very clean and well maintained though. Happy hour was accompanied by an hour of awful techno and lots of hell ringing. I wish they would drop this

Overall the hotel was clean and tidy and the pool/beach/facilities were all great. The only issues we had that would put us off going back are that there was only one plug and even with an extension lead was awkward getting everything charged/ironed etc and also the lack of storage space for clothing. I know this seems petty but we don't like living out of suitcases which we had to this holiday.

Ibis är ett hotell för barnfamiljer och passade inte oss som par utan barn. Hotellet är av okej standard men vi hade inte bott här igen. Rummen är små men okej standard. Det första rummet vi fick luktade mögel och avlopp. Vi fick ett nytt rum som var okej. Städpersonalen är slarviga. Tre dagar i rad glömde de ge oss nya handdukar (de tog våra gamla men gav oss inga nya...) och de fyllde inte heller på handtvålen i badrummet. Tråkigt när man själv behöver gå till receptionen och be om dessa saker. Det finns två pooler, en för barn och en för vuxna. Det finns regler på området men som tyvärr gästerna inte följer. Vi tycker det är dåligt att personalen ser detta och aktivt väljer att inte säga till. T.ex. handlar det om att gäster röker trots förbud, barn badar i vuxenpoolen etc. Personalen är även dåliga på att hålla i ordning då de inte plockar undan disk/mat från borden vid solstolarna. Det lockar djur och ser inte trevligt ut. Räkna inte med att det finns en strand. Det är en stege ner från poolområdet och ingen strand du kan sola på. Frukosten är okej. Det är tråkigt att de inte använder "lock" för att skydda maten mot t.ex. flugor. Känns inte trevligt att äta. Hotellet låg beläget okej med bra gångavstånd till restauranger och marknaden.

Upon check in I was told that it was mandatory for me to have a significant credit and that this needed to be paid at that time. This was for possible purchases at the pool bar and/or restaurant. As it turned out, I used only a small fraction and was not refunded the balance when I checked out. I was told it may take 2 weeks for that credit to show up on my card. At a 6am checkout with a taxi waiting, I was unable to do anything about it at the time. We checked out nearly 3 weeks ago as I write this. This practice of a mandatory 'credit' and then withholding a refund will not be ignored. I will follow up with the Thailand authorities if this is not refunded quickly.

Great place to stay just a short walk away from the business of fisherman’s village. Beach right there. Cocktails excellent and staff lovely. Concierge can organise everything for you if you haven’t sorted yourself out and I highly recommend using her guidance to ensure you are on the best trips.

Nous avons séjourné deux nuits à 4 dans cet établissement. Hôtel un peu vieillissant mais correct. Accueil très chaleureux avec un personnel très attentionné Dommage que le service de chambre fasse la gueule à la première demande de juste 4 serviettes au lieu de faire la chambre complète… Et au petit déjeuner la personne qui fait les omelettes devrait faire autre chose, car on voit vraiment qu’on l’emmerde…(une piste : croque mort lui irait mieux !!!!) Mais je répète, le personnel de l’accueil nous a fait oublier ces petits désagréments

Hôtel situé directement sur la plage à proximité d'une grande rue commerçante. Chambre bien équipée et propre, juste un peu petite. Petit déjeuner buffet complet et qualitatif. Les piscines sont un peu petites comparées aux établissements aux alentours, mais ce n'est pas la même gamme d'hôtels. Pour se rendre aux plages les plus belles de l'île, il sera nécessaire de louer un véhicule ou prendre un taxi.

Sehr schön gepflegte Gartenanlage mit 2 schönen Pools. Der Erwachsenen-Pool war sehr angenehm ruhig. Die Zimmer waren mit allem eingerichtet was man benötigt. Die Lage zum Fishermans village ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt zu empfehlen.

Trevligt hotell precis vid stranden med fint poolområde och väldigt mat vid poolrestaurangen. Man kan ligga i solstolarna vid poolen mot havet och välja mellan att bada i havet eller i poolen. (Bara 15 meter mellan dem) Enda nackdel är att det är rätt långt att gå in till Fischerman Village som är mysigt att äta på kvällen. Men hotellet erbjuder shuttlebuss för 50bath. Men lite irriterande att den går bara om minst 3st bokar. Lite småsnålt av hotellet med det läget borde de bara hålla tiderna de annonserar på tavlan och hemsidan oavsett om man är 1-8st per minivan.

Would definitely stay here again. Great location and reasonable price. Within 20 minute walk to Fisherman’s Village and multiple great restaurants and coffee closer by. Paddle board rental had no fin on paddle so was unusable but otherwise a very good place to stay.

Nous sommes restés 5 jours au Ibis et nous avons été agréablement surpris de l’hôtel: c’était mieux que ce qu’on avait imaginé. L’emplacement est à 20 min à pied du Fiherman’s Village avec son choix de restos, boutiques etc… la cour de l’hôtel est calme, paisible et bien entretenue et c’est situé sur le bord d’une plage, pas très large mais agréable et l’eau y est très belle pour se baigner. Il y a plusieurs petites piscines et beaucoup de chaises à l’ombre d’arbres ou de parasols. Comme partout ailleurs il faut arriver tôt le matin pour avoir une place sur les chaises. Les chambres ne sont pas très grandes mais confortables et propres avec un mini balcon et une corde à linge, le matelas et la literie sont confortables. Comme relevé dans certaines critiques il n’y a pas beaucoup de place ni de bureaux pour placer vêtements et valises et il n’y a pas de prise de courant dans la salle de bain. Nous n’avions pas le déjeuner inclus mais il y a des restos aux alentours et sinon le buffet déjeuner de l’hôtel est très correct pour 250 Bath. Nous avons dîné à quelques reprises et c’était bien aussi. Pour le prix c’est un excellent choix d’hôtel.

Very good deal price /quality Room are ibis room so not much to expect but for the price it s very good. There is a small balcony Rooms are quiet, there is a nice yard and place rest around swimming pool with a “no children” pool/area ( not very respected but it s holidays :) ) You can walk to fisherman but better to rent a scooter or car to move around. It s a greta place for budget Positively surprised

Værelset var i fin stand, men meget lille og meget lille altan hvor der ikke kunne sidde 2 personer. Pænt og rent, og meget venligt personale. God morgenbuffet. Vi bestilte juleaftensarrangement med stor buffet og musik på poolområdet. Maden var katastrofal dårlig, helt råt og sejt oksekød, og generelt dårlig kvalitet mad, musikken alt for høj, hvilket gjorde at gæsterne inkl. os selv gik derfra. Det startede kl. 18, og kl. 21 var der ikke flere gæster. Et dyrt arrangement, 900 Bath for mad pr. Person plus drikkevarer. Ellers var kvaliteten på maden generelt fint.

Fazit: Das mit Abstand schlechteste von 6 Hotels der 3-Sterne- Kategorie.

Ibis är ett hotell för barnfamiljer och passade inte oss som par utan barn. Hotellet är av okej standard men vi hade inte bott här igen. Rummen är små men okej standard. Det första rummet vi fick luktade mögel och avlopp. Vi fick ett nytt rum som var okej. Städpersonalen är slarviga. Tre dagar i rad glömde de ge oss nya handdukar (de tog våra gamla men gav oss inga nya...) och de fyllde inte heller på handtvålen i badrummet. Tråkigt när man själv behöver gå till receptionen och be om dessa saker. Det finns två pooler, en för barn och en för vuxna. Det finns regler på området men som tyvärr gästerna inte följer. Vi tycker det är dåligt att personalen ser detta och aktivt väljer att inte säga till. T.ex. handlar det om att gäster röker trots förbud, barn badar i vuxenpoolen etc. Personalen är även dåliga på att hålla i ordning då de inte plockar undan disk/mat från borden vid solstolarna. Det lockar djur och ser inte trevligt ut. Räkna inte med att det finns en strand. Det är en stege ner från poolområdet och ingen strand du kan sola på. Frukosten är okej. Det är tråkigt att de inte använder "lock" för att skydda maten mot t.ex. flugor. Känns inte trevligt att äta. Hotellet låg beläget okej med bra gångavstånd till restauranger och marknaden.

Good 3* hotel at a very good location. Room was basic but all we needed for a 3-night-stay. It was clean (cleaned every day) but a but small for us (with 1.5 y old baby). Staff was very friendly and helpful. The laundry was great - washing machine as well as dryer were easy to be used. Breakfast was very basic, we would not book it again but rather went outside to go for breakfast. But the restaurant at the pool was nice - they had also special hours during lunch time, food and drinks were ok. We didn’t use pools but were always on the beach - beach wasn’t full at all. All in all ok stay in a 3* hotel.

Clean, basic rooms in a well maintained hotel. The fire show was welcome surprise- check it out! Breakfast offered variety and the staff are super friendly. The pool is great and it’s on the beach. Taxi to Fisherman’s village was always easy and you could also walk there. Down side- rooms are basic with little storage space. They were very clean and well maintained though. Happy hour was accompanied by an hour of awful techno and lots of hell ringing. I wish they would drop this

Lovely grounds swimming pool. The ocean is so nice to swim in. Room is small. A/c keeps the room very damp husband and I got chest colds. Breakfast buffet was the worst we have had in Asia. Over all would stay again hopefully they get new a/c units. Restaurants and Fisherman’s Village walking distance. Scooter rental and 7/11 next door.

Selve hotellet ligger rigtig fint, dog er der nærmest ikke noget strand så man skal ta et andet sted for hende for at komme på stranden. Værelserne er fine og der er hvad man har brug for. Morgenmaden er virkelig dårlig medmindre mand godt kan lide Thai man, der er kune syltetøj og honning til brød ellers kun varme ting. Generelt for hotellet er at manden ikke er særlig god, kan dog spises. Rengøringen er virkelig fin og personalet er flinke.

Nice beach front pool and pool bar/restaurant area, with direct easy access to beach and cordoned off safe area for swimming in sea. Breakfast good apart from the stale cornflakes (with no other cereal option). Too many families with loud screaming young children - but hotel seems made for this.
