They are in the middle of a remodel, so there is a lot of construction going on. The hot tub wasn't functioning, but the pool was open. Ice machine on our floor wasn't functioning.The staff were very welcoming and kind. The room was really nice for the price, hopefully they continue the remodel and upgrades to the rest of the building.

We booked this property based on the last reviews of being updated. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was great for us. Hot tub was broken, pool was not clear, elevator was scary, hallways were dark dingy and outdated. Luckily we only stayed one night. Beds were okay but my husband has a Cpap and there were no outlets anywhere near the beds. Beds were clean. Furniture was painted so definitely outdated. Bathroom tub was painted with updated hardware. All door knobs were put on wrong. The bathroom door handle kept falling off. I wouldn’t considered that remodeled. We would not go back to this hotel and it gave Bates Motel vibes. Definitely needs a lot more work.

It was not ready for guests. The hot tub was cold, the gym was being used a storage room. There was no floor by the pool and it’s only open 3pm - 11 pm so we couldn’t use it. It was very dirty in the stairwells and common areas. There was a fingernail on the chair and never cleaned up. And an eviction notice hanging up. They said they were pet free but I saw 2 people check in with dogs and we have terrible allergies and needed pet free. For the price — save your money! I did ask for some type of refund and will update if they do the right thing and give me a credit since I overpaid.

Mold! Absolutely horrible! The mini frig leaks causing the carpet on the floor to mold. There was 1/2 a roll of toilet paper and when looked under the sink, there was more mold, black mold! The sower drain was slow/clogged. The tv remote was sticky, the curtains would not close. We could not get out of there fast enough! Surprised the Board of Health doesn’t close the place down. Beware-don’t stay

The hotel needs updated caution tape everywhere hot tub didn’t work. We were there for a half hour and checked out the icing on the cake was when I went to the restroom wash my hands got a clean towel that I thought was clean to dry my hands with, and it was soaking wet. The bathtub was disgusting and even had a hanger in the drain for some reason the staff was friendly and nice though. but did not refund my money.

To start… Read the reviews and how rude and unprofessional the Hotel Mgr was in responding to each and every review. At check in, I was approached in the parking lot by a resident of the hotel, asking if I wanted to buy drugs. Front desk staff is very nice. The hotel itself is a dump. They are under renovation. This should have been mentioned in the Hotel’s listing. I can’t believe our room was renovated. It was dirty and has a mildew smell. Pubic hairs in shower and sink. Housekeeping never cleaned or restocked our room for the 3 nights that we were there. We never used the Do Not Disturb door hanger and we were out of the room by 8am every morning. She did give us fresh towels on the second night and was very courteous and apologetic. Our room only had a half roll toilet paper for our entire stay. We weren’t going to keep asking for a new roll, so I bought some from Walmart, not a big deal. On the second evening, there was an electrical issue in our room. Half the room had no power. Maintenance did fix it within 30 minutes and was ver courteous. There are sketchy people living in this hotel. I would not recommend this hotel if safety is a concern. The bed was comfortable and we had plenty of hot water in the morning. Overall, this is a dumbs down and I will definitely not stay here ever again.

I READ THE REVIEWS AND HOPED IT WOULDN'T BE AS BAD, I WAS WRONG. ROOM 311 HAD GUM ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE TV STAND. MIRROR IN THE BATHROOM AND SHOWER WAS FILTHY. THE BATHROOM SMELLED LIKE URINE. I WENT TO WALMART BOUGHT CLEANING SUPPLIES AND CLEANED THE WHOLE BATHROOM SO MY FAMILY COULD USE IT. LIGHTING OUTSIDE WAS DARK. TRASH CANS IN THE EVENINHG WAS FILLED TO RIM. KEY GOT DEACTIVATED EVRYDAY. OTHERWISE BEDS WERE COMFY WAS THE ONLY BENEFIT. THIS IS NOT THE TYPICAL COUNTRY INN, I REPEAT NOT!

The air conditioner has black mold on the vents. There was no soap, empty shampoo and conditioner bottles. Phone lines have been cut so i couldn't ask the simple amenities. They charged my card a $100 fee for any damage the might occure. Said it was just a hold, it was for 2 days. Never again.

The attendants at the desk were friendly and helpful. I had to get the attendant to come help me. I have a c-pap machine that needed to be plugged near the bed. The outlet was under the bed. He was able to climb under to reach it. My niece came in after I fell asleep and had to crawl under the bed too to plug in her phone. So if you need the outlet near the bed bring a long extension cord or 10ft charger cord which I did happen to bring mine and plug into the outlet across from the bed. Other than that the room was clean and comfortable.

The mattress looks like it is 20 years old. It is a firm old school spring mattress with a pillow top cover. It was not comfortable. The shower was dirty and had mold.

Rough on edges. Old. Poor upkeep of grounds. Don’t let the pictures fool you. Bathroom was very rough. Toilet barely flushed. Door was dirty. Furniture was beat up pretty bad. On the brighter side, the TV worked and the bed was very comfortable. I was expecting better.

This place was just ok. I can’t say I would stay here again. The rooms are extremely small. The bathroom looked new at first glance but once getting in, it was just partially redone. Breakfast room was tiny. Cleaners were just wearing regular clothes and you couldn’t tell if they were actual cleaners or just someone looking to get into your room. The elevators are tiny and older. It’s ok for a quick stay but I would not stay for an extended period of time longer than one night.

The hotel itself was outdated. We had a suite and the key only worked on one door. The phone in the room was not functioning and we couldn’t use it to even call the front desk. The smart TVs did not work properly. One worker came to fix the issues but all that could be resolved was the TV was given regular cable. The bathroom toilet seat was falling apart. The one night stand leg by the futon was resting under the table and not attached. Our room was not ready at 10 minutes to 3 when check in us at 3. they initially tried to put us in a different room with one king bed. I said no because it won’t fit our family, that’s why we booked the 2 queen suite, so they got our room ready within 10 minutes. For one night the hotel wasn’t awful, but it is outdated, dingy and gross in some areas. the hot tub has been broke for years. Price was in point for what you get. I personally would never go back, but I’m sure it’s great for others :)

We reserved a 2 Queen room. We arrived and our room had 2 Full-sized beds. That's rough for 2 adults to sleep in a Full-sized bed. Upon arrival, the check in process was painfully slow. I had two rooms, and I had to present my ID and swipe my card multiple times. I also had to pay a refundable deposit on each room. When we got to our room, the AC was turned off completed. Carpet felt wet it was so humid in the room. Shelf in the bathroom had a layer of dust on top, and the shower looked filthy. Stopper mechanism was just pulled from the drain and sitting on the edge. Drain had hair and grime inside it. Breakfast was served in two rooms that had been converted to the breakfast area. Many rooms were missing the lock mechanisms and were just filled with extra furniture. Carpet was dirty. Everything in the room seemed old and dirty. I hope they are in the process of remodeling. To add to that, front desk attendant was not friendly at all.

Pool was down, despite the website saying would be fixed on the 1st, checked out on the 3rd and still wasn’t. The AC did not work well and left the room feeling stuffy and warm. The shower drained so slowly you stood in ankle high water. Everything was unplugged and you had to find the plugs behind the furniture in the dust and dirt there.

The person behind the counter had an attitude when my boyfriend asked if there was any pest problems pillows were flat and sheets were filthy there wasn’t even a breakfast when we woke up not to mention the tv remote barely worked at all we will not be staying here again. Arrived at 4:30 pm and was told no clean room. Was told to "get dinner in Belden" and they would call me if a room was open by 8:30 pm and that I may just want to find another hotel. Received a call at 9:30 pm saying a room was clean. By this time, I already found another hotel room but when I was trying to call, the hotel's phone was down. The front desk person (who called me on her personal cell) told me I would have to file a claim as she could not refund my money despite this being the hotel's fault. Still no refund. I went back this morning and asked for a manager to call me which never happened. Will now have to go to my credit card and report this as fraud. This is the worst experience I've had with a hotel.

Checked in and went up to the room. The heater was turned on to full heat, but wasn't working. When I went downstairs, the front desk clerk said he'd come up to check on things. When he came up, he understood the issue, and gave us a different room that had heat. Very impressed with the customer service here.

When first arriving to this hotel the front desk clerk advised us about a wait and told us to wait on the owner/manager. The manager advised us that we had to wait 45 minutes and we already arrived about 2 hours and 45 minutes. But we than understood and left out to go to the stores. However once arriving again. He then informed us again to wait 15 more minutes and in total we waited 30 more minutes. Got to the room and it was still dirty. Fixtures like the paintings, lights, etc were not properly installed. There were bug mashed on the walls. Bathroom door handle broke. Carpets had paint all over them. This place also stunk really bad. The pool hasn’t been shocked in months. People that live in the hotel also worked for the hotel and they didn’t look professional at all. Looked just like someone rolling out of bed coming to do housekeeping, breakfast or maintaince. and the list goes on. We didn’t expect this from a hotel.

$100 unexpected damage deposit fee on check-in that I've never encountered before anywhere including recent stay at another wyndham. Also 25 minute wait to check-in with no one at desk or in sight to help me. Also I was given 15 mniutes to check the room and report any existing damage or possibly risk losing my deposit. Definitly not a good check-in experience.

There was construction going on above my room which sucked but except for an hour each morning I was away seeing the sites. Plus when I checked in I was upgraded to a suite so that was awesome. Canton Ohio is a beautiful place. I loved my time there.

I understand that they are in the middle of new ownership and renovations, so the whole facility (entrance, front desk, hallways) were in need of lots of love. The front desk help was great and he helped us get into a room 15 minutes before 3pm. They were also short handed in the housekeeping department. The room itself was clean and not awful. Lots of spackle and putty in the bathroom. Fine for an overnight or two. Reasonably priced and good location. If you are looking for luxury or upscale, not your place. Affordable and OK, this fits the bill. I would stay here again.

I need to start off by praising the staff! I had nothing but friendly interactions with them and we even ended up leaving some items in the room which they helped us get back. These people prevented this stay from being awful. That aside, the property and room sucked so bad for the price. I get that its near the HOF but I am just trying to stay in Canton for the night. 150+ dollars for a room that echoed everything going on in the hallway, a shower that did not drain, fixtures that the caulking could not hold in place anymore, and a cheap small option breakfast to boot.

Coffee is the main lobby was cold. Holes EVERYWHERE in various walls. Ended with having NO HOT WATER in our room. Overall…incredibly unimpressed & would never stay at a Country Inn again. Staff was very pleasant, although unhelpful or caring with the shower/water issue. The older gentleman serving breakfast was SO SWEET!
