I informed the front desk that the soda machine was taking money and not dispensing drinks because they were jammed in the bottom, this after spending $5. The man at the front desk advised me to call the phone number on the machine, I told him there was not a number and suggested he put a note on the machine so other guests didn\'t get ripped off. He said " This isn\'t my machine so that sounds like the person who\'s machine it is should be doing that" In the morning I was hassled by knocks on the door twice and a phone call because we were late checking out at 11:15am.

This is an older property but maintained. The front desk staff, Will, was very welcoming and helpful. The accessible room had a tub, but a bench that flipped down for seating. A handheld shower was convenient. The water was nice and hot. For the price, it was good. This is 2nd time we have stayed. No frills, but clean and cost effective.

The rooms were dirty. The area surrounding was fine. But there were tons of vagrants loitering in the parking lot. Front desk guy was very sweet. That's the best thing I can say

The office service was great, the only issue was that they did not bring new clean towels, empty trash or bring fresh sheets or bedding. They could use some security for parking lot. There was a lot of in and out parking with loud music.

I loved that it was within walking distant of shopping and restaurants, the Belden village mall was right across the street. I didn’t like the fact that I was put in a room with bed bugs and was told that maintenance guy would take a look and if they found any I would get a refund I showed them one of the bugs I had caught as well as the multiple bites I had all over my body and never received a refund

The room we had was disgusting. The floors were dirty and sticky. There was a huge hole punched in the wall. I had to deep clean the bathroom to our room before ei could use it because there was feces dried on the toilet seat, under the toilet rim and also on the floor and shower curtain.

The housekeeper was terrible. She don’t move things sweep out corners. The floor was still dirty under the beds were horrible. The sheets were worn TV was small but overall you know I gave me a roof and they just need to learn how to clean.

The room was dirty. The floor was filthy. Sure they had not mopped it in months. Hair on the bathroom floor. The desk lamp was all rusted. The back of the door was dirty. If I could have found another hotel I wouldn’t have stayed there. Will NEVER go back.

It was dirty under beds and in corner. A dirty plunger in bathroom. Spit wads on paintings , air unit was worn out. But it was ok. I had a roof over my head .

The bathroom was dirty. I wouldn't even take a shower in that tub.The toilet bowl was obviously not cleaned after the previous visitor left. The lock on the front door had to be handled a certain way to work. Staff was nice, but the hotel itself is out of date and needs a complete overhaul.

This is a very very dirty hotel. I run my own short term rental business. I would never leave it this dirty. Only thing that seemed clean was the bed. Floors were filthy. Bathtub rusty and physically dirty.

Hotel was fine but the rooms were small. Only one staff member on site so when we arrived we had to wait for them to get back to the desk. Rooms were clean and the location is next to a mall - lots of restaurants and shopping available.

It was close to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. It was relatively clean. It had a fairly decent TV. Those were the good points. However, there were more bad points than good. The A/C was constantly running, except for about 30 seconds every 7-8 minutes or so. Then it would shut off for about 30 seconds and then start up again. VERY annoying, especially when trying to sleep. I had to resort to earplugs. It was also not particularly cold. The bathroom had a vent, but no fan. As a result, after a shower in such a confined space, you needed a fog lamp to see where you were going. The Wi-Fi/internet was very spotty. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it would cut out and not work for a while. The room was also very stuffy and smelled like dog. We paid extra for the microwave and refrigerator, which NEITHER worked very well. The microwave was supposed to be a rotating plate, which did not work, and was very small and weak in power. For $50.00 they could have replaced it with something better. Finally, we had problems with the cards unlocking the door...very temperamental...had to fiddle with it for 5 minutes before it would unlock the door. Just gave the impression of a cheaply run, do the minimum amount of maintenance possible hotel. Would definitely not stay here again and would NOT recommend.

This place could use some modernization. New Vinyl throughout, and a serious upgrade on the AC, one that condenses the air and wrings out the moisture; the room was entirely too humid. Laundry needs to leave towels and sheets in an extra 15 minutes. They were a shade too wet. Towels and sheets should be as dry as the Sahara Desert; these weren''t. Bed was super-comfortable, TV remote was a little janky.

The room was mostly clean but older looking other than the granite sink counter. The room was very small. The curtain rod needs repair, lamp stand was very rusty, no fridge. It was very basic and outside noises were easily heard.

I would give the day clerk 5 stars.. She was very nice and helpful.. I will give the night clerk 1 star. I had gone out to eat and when I came back that evening my door was being held open by the deadbolt. Also, the TV remote was in a different spot and the TV had been turned off. Nothing else was moved or missing. I closed the door but my key card didn't work. I went to the office to reactivate it and told her the situation. She said that nobody has been in my room. I again repeated the situation and she insisted that it couldn't have happened. I don't appreciate being called a liar. Don't recommend that Red Roof.

Had to stay somewhere close to hospital, so i gave it a try It turned out to be pretty nice. The lady at check in was great, she got my room switched to a first floor room,because my wife had surgery and couldn't climb stairs

During check-in, staff went above and beyond to get us a room to our satisfaction. They understood our concerns with having a room with minimal dog hair and dander due to asthma. They were willing to work with us to find a room that wouldnt cause issues. Incredibly kind and patient. Otherwise the room met basic standards for the price we paid. We only needed a bed and shower which is what they provided. Very grateful for the staff!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. We were here for a little over a week before we could get into our new home and they treated us like family! The staff is so friendly and the maintenance guy is awesome! Highly recommend this place. It gets too many bad reviews that is not entirely true. I would recommend this to any of my friends or family.

Never been to this area or OH, a bit intimidating at first. Friendly staff Debbie was welcoming, when I checked in. The staff always helpful, especially using the room key card, that was a bit much at times. Also, the room was clean and bed was so warm and comforting, during the long flight to get here from South Florida. Getting around, via Uber was great as well. Super Target is across the street and many different places to eat within walking distance. Safe area, friendly folks make up for the long travel. I would definitely recommend for a long or short stay.

I have stayed here maybe a dozen times, maybe more, over the last five years. The rooms are typically clean, and I have always had great service from whoever is at the front desk. The surrounding area has every dining and shopping option you could ask for, much of it in walking distance. I will stay again

Stayed for a nearby soccer tournament. Good location. Chick-fil-a and Bojangles on either side. Many more food and entertainment very close (Dave and Busters) <5 minutes away which is part of a shopping mall. Great for our need.

The Red Roof in was a good place to stay overnight for the cost. Polite staff and clean accommodations. Beds are double, not queen, and no breakfast or other frills. But I knew that when I booked the room. A solid C.

It was so so. The bathtub was clogged. Maintenance came and supposedly fixed it but it was still clogged. The towels were stained. I guess for the price I shouldn't complain. But for the location I expected more. No refrigerator. No breakfast. Again, I guess you get what you pay for.

Room assigned was clean except for the tub in the bathroom/restroom. No shelf for personal toiletries there. The dresser had 3 drawers, used the top one, the second would only partially open, the third had no pulls to open it with. Additionally we were assigned a handicap room which was a bit awkward. Being next to a coffee shop and Bob Evans made eating very easy.

Very safe area. Staff was very nice and honored request for convenient room for older travelers. Basic no breakfast rate which is fine but only had sweetened creamer for coffee. Bath and sink area was clean but room had strong cleaner odor and floors were sticky. Probably should travel with deodorizer if staying in pet friendly hotels.

This hotel was superb. The mouths were kind, gentle, and friendly. I gathered free coffee on multiple occasions without socks on and I witness rude guests speak vile vomits, and the staff handled it like Disney world. Good job red roof inn of canton! You rule!
