Parking lot was full, no safe alternatives provided; only one elevator was functioning; floor 7 had no ice machine; kids running rampant throughout who were supposed to be attending a NYTRA program. My car windshield was cracked and damaged while in the hotels parking garage. I have a brand new car. It was not damaged when I drove in and parked. The security employee came down and saw it and reviewed the tape. Now the Sheraton is claiming that it is not their responsibility for the damage.

The only negative thing I have to say is that the parking garage entrance and exit was a pain. It never worked properly and wouldn’t scan the bar code on our ticket, whenever we were leaving an attendant had to come out and help us. It was a little frustrating

The room was very clean and the hotel was conveniently located near the casino which is where we went The check in was easy but was told that there was a $20 parking fee because their lower garage was full, so assuming they also owned the garage right across the street, so charged my card the $20 and was told NOT to pay the fee again when exiting the garage in the am…. Come to find out, we couldn’t leave the garage without paying because they don’t own that garage, I believe the woman I spoke to when I called back to see how to get out without paying again said it was owned by the Marriott next door….so was a little put off that the Sheraton is collecting money for people to pay to park when it’s not even their garage and it took us an extra 15 min just to get out of there And when speaking to the woman that was working in the am about how to exit out, she was a little bit rude about us not being in their garage , but we were told it was full BUT ….it was the most comfortable bed and bedding I have ever slept in in my life!

Room wasnt clean when i first arrived. I had to wait a while for one. At first they told me i would have to change the type of room i had i thought that was ridiculous. Cleaning services was nice and friendly. The restraunts were very nice as well inside hotel.

The only real issue is the room was on the side of the hotel across from the Marriot. Unfortunately there were cars and motorcycles that were loud going by until the early morning hours. No fault of the staff or hotel. I would prefer to stay at the Sheraton over other hotels in the arrea.

The property was convenient to access restaurants etc. I could not adjust the temp in the room to a comfortable level, it would only stay at 74. I did not have a restful night. Front desk staff was quite confused when asked about breakfast (they do not have a buffetkl), they said breakfast through room service could only be called in the morning starting at 6:30am. They would not arrange it for me ahead of time and so I called at exactly 6:30am as I had to leave before 7:30am, only got voicemail and did not get a response. I would not spend the money to book the same place again.

We had a corner room and it was lovely. Windows overlooked the memorial bridge and CT river. Lovely winter view. Very clean. Very quiet. Staff was very courteous and helpful.

They gave me the wrong room and then tried to get me to keep it. I was supposed to be in a junior suite and they gave me in a regular room. They weren’t going to adjust my rate either.

Positive. The 2 reservations we needed were available for the night. The front desk staff was very welcoming. Negatives...the 2 rooms were not ready at 3 pm and we had to wait for some time. We needed to get ready for a family event. Our rooms were not ready at the same time. We were able to find a space for the car even though the sign said full. (Some guests may have left.) However, not to lose our space, a family member picked us up and dropped us off after the event.)

For the amount charged I would think that the desk clerk give me some kind of direction as to how to even get to my room or any of the amenities. After giving me my keys, she just walked away to help someone that was more important then I . I had to get the other person at the desk to let me know if I could go to my room and where I could park as the garage was full. We were put on the 3rd floor which was hosting an event and extremely noisy. In the middle of the night my wife was awakened by a screaming kid not once but twice. Would never go back.

We were locked out of our room for over three hours. Within this time I went to the front desk and asked three times and still they didn’t fix the problem until I went a fourth time. Had to get our room keys changed two times just to use the elevator. Unacceptable.

The property was ok 3 out of 5 stars. Parking was a pain and fills up quickly forcing you to park across the street. The pool was nice but dining was limited and few decent restaurants within walking distance. Starbucks had weird hours, they were closed on Saturdays and at 2pm on Friday. The worse part was we paid for club access and there was nothing to eat/snack in the club, it only had water and soda. When my wife complained and asked it it would be restocked the staff said we don’t stock the club access on weekends because not enough people stay there. What a horrible answer and a lie because there was no parking available on a Friday night. Staff was very rude and wouldn’t let us check in 30 mins early because supposedly there were no rooms ready, which didn’t make sense because they said they didn’t stock club access because hardly anyone stays over the weekend. Nice hotel, nice amenities but horrible staff and food. This property could be much better with a new staff and management.

No menu for dinner, couldn’t eat at the dinner, breakfast took 20 min to serve when I was the only there an over charged me when the plate was $17 for 3 two cups of juice an it came out $70 explain how. Didn’t even serve me water had to ask for water. An had no ice an it was warm. I wanted view get a room with small window I reserve the room of $182 for one night an they charge me $298 plus $70 for breakfast so disappointed never again. The pool was disgusting it was cloudy an hot water. No towels either. I wanted to enjoy the pool than have dinner than watch the fireworks an none happen. Had to eat out watch the firework outside an didn’t get in the pool. Regret it.
