It's a very nice hotel but seems to struggle to keep up. Pool advertised but was closed over 3 years ago. Well maintained overall but the room had issues ... Shaky bed, wobbling side table, safe that did not work ... And these small things took away from the experience. Parking is available in abundance but it's quite confusing for a non-city person. Had to go in to find out what to do. I would stay again but would also consider other options.

Conveniently located in North York Center, with direct TTC access. Very spacious and well laid out rooms, especially liked the lay out of the L-shaped desk for taking work zoom calls without worry if bed was visible in the background. Lots of lighting and clothing storage options, plus mini fridge and Nespresso coffee maker. Robe and slippers were a nice extra touch. Gym is very small, but functional; pool and sauna were under construction.

The check in process was totally disorganized and took over 35 minutes waiting in a line while 3 people served the customers and 4 supervisors watched. The bathtub in our room had peeling paint on the tub with large pieces coming off in the shower water. For over $400 it was a real surprise and disappointment after our first stay. No way for Novotel again although we love the location.

We were very disappointed with the state of our room. The bathroom was over due for a reno with a poor shower, damaged sink and noisy toilet that ran for minutes after flushing. The towels were ratty and the hand and body wash of poor quality. There were no soaps or lotions provided. There was no mattress pad on the bed and it was made up in a way that the mattress was exposed at the top of the bed where your head was. In addition, there was no top sheet so hopefully they change the duvet cover every time there is a new guest. The lobby area was nice and the parking was reasonable. But in my opinion the room was gross.

Great location with easy access to highways and TTC. Lots of things to do in walking distance. Staff were friendly. Only negative were the beds. The mattresses looked concave and well used. Didn’t have a chance to use any other amenities.

Staff was helpful and nice. Overall condition of the building is good and clean. My big complaint is the beds. We stay in many rooms every year. These mattresses were the most uncomfortable of any we have experienced. Low quality, extremely firm, you can feel the springs in it. We barely got any sleep, and I now have a lower back issue that I am working through. For as much as we paid for the room, one would think it that there would at least be a comfortable place to lay your head. You won’t find that here.

We appreciated the hotel’s location, with many stores and restaurants nearby. My children enjoyed the lobby’s computer console and citrus-infused water. However, the parking garage was a significant issue—it was difficult to navigate in our large SUV due to its steep and narrow incline. During our four-night stay, several problems arose. At check-in, a front desk mistake led to a $1200 hold on our credit card instead of $200, which, though eventually resolved, was alarming. We requested a crib, but it wasn’t provided immediately. After reminding the staff, we returned to find our door ajar and an unassembled crib on the floor. This felt like a security violation, especially in a high-traffic area. From the time we arrived, our door keys never worked. We were there for three days and they never worked once we would always have to call front desk to have someone come up and often they would have difficulty and they never offered us another room. When it was time to check out, they told me they’d give me free parking, but I never even had a car there. We had two rooms one for myself and one for my daughter and her children, so they gave me a discount of $25 per room!! For all the inconvenience. Then when I picked up my bags from there holding room, they had only given me five tickets, but I had six bags and they didn’t wanna give me my six bag which was my grandchildren‘s dirty clothes told me they had a procedure to follow. It was absolutely horrendous. Never stay there again.

The facilities are wonderful. We were there to attend the marathon and needed to leave early in the morning. Considering this big event in the city it would have been ideal for the facility to open breakfast at 6 to support their guests. We were not able to have breakfast as we had to leave to get to the race on time to start.

His name was Adam and he was very nice and kind and made whatever my kids liked for breakfast. recommended us the best places and roots to communicate. that was a great experiance and the best staff there.

The room we stayed in was okay the bed was extremely uncomfortable they had blankets with stains and the carpets where disgusting stains all over the place there was still crumbs and garbage in the corners and under the bed very unprofessional cleaning And the parking I understand the location but I had to pay a additional fee to park in a parking garage and when I checked out I forgot to scan the QR code that was provided to me when we checked in witch I agree was my fault but maybe putting a sign out to remind guests about the QR code would be helpful
