Room was clean. There were a bunch of fruit flies in our room which was annoying. Breakfast was ok but no eggs or bacon/sausage. Coffee and tea available in lobby during the day. Lots of space in the breakfast room.

Wetaskiwin has really gone down hill. The siding 16 area Seems to be the area that all the homeless hang out. We happened to arrive in Wetaskiwin early. I stopped in at the hotel to see if it was possible to check in, because I was going to be late coming back to the hotel. It was about 2 pm. I was told that the room is ready and I can check in, but there will be a $20.00 early check in fee. So I guess for my convenience I could check in but it will cost me extra. The room was also prepaid. No discount for that though. I will likely find a different hotel to stay at on my next stay. I usually stay at least a couple times each year to visit with family.
