Courtyard by Marriott Reno

Excellent affordable business hotel. The beds and bedding are comfortable and the furnishings are generally tasteful and comfortable. Wall ACs and heating are easy to control. The nested desk provides plenty of work space. Lighting is excellent but there is no universal switch. AC outlets for the desk and bed are convenient, although the USBA outlets don't work. The rooms on the northeast side are affected much less by noise from the 580 freeway. Parking is plentiful. The ground floor cafe is basic but the coffee is good and the dinners are good enough in a pinch. The lobby provides lots of meeting and waiting space with couches, tables and nooks.

The gym is brand new and full of great equipment.

I was dissapoinyed it did not have a pool as i thought it did.

My son enjoyed the work out facility. And then we enjoyed watching football with snacks and drinks.

Our 2nd time booking at this Courtyard and the same excellent service :) we’re attending my niece’s graduation and only booked until Saturday but needed to extend until Sunday because of the winter storm. Ben assisted me on extending our stay & the lady (didnt get her name - sorry :( at the front desk provided me with the new key in the morning was super sweet and friendly! I had breakfast at The Bistro serving Starbucks coffee, they also have a pretty good breakfast menu options. We stayed in 1 King bedroom suite, i slept at the sofabed since Im working very early and didnt want to wake up my kids, really love the privacy of being able to work while also enjoying our stay at this hotel ;) Room is spacious and clean. The pool and gym were close for renovation. They offer free hot chocolate/coffee/tea at the lobby which is perfect for this cold weather. Overall, we will stay here again :)

Beautiful space, wonderful servixe. The only down side was their pool, hot tub, and fitness room were down

It was really good. Room was clean and quiet. The Fitness center is one of the best I've seen in a hotel.

Have mixed feelings about the stay. Had I known the workout room was closed for remodeling, I would not have booked here. Also, breakfast was not an option because their was only one employee and 20 customers, so we could not wait that long. The room was clean, but very plain and dark.

This hotel specifically advertised having EV charging. On their website they show an old Clipper Creek level 2 charger (likely the precursor of the Enphase level 2 chargers), so I called to make sure I would be able to charge my Mercedes EQE EV. I was assured the hotel has an adapter for my car. The lady on the phone even used this as a major selling point: “There are not many hotels around that have EV chargers!” But when I got to the hotel, it turned out they had only two working chargers, both of which were occupied the whole night (the nature of the beast with slow level 2 charging). There was a third charger that was missing the J1772 adapter… So no charging for me. When I asked the receptionist for an adapter, she kept telling me it was with the charger, even though I told her a few times that it wasn’t. When you have only two working chargers for an entire hotel, you probably should not advertise EV charging… Oddly, more of half of the parking lot was empty, so there would have clearly been plenty of space to install a few more chargers. And the installation of a level 2 charger isn’t expensive, either. The tech difficulties didn’t stop there, the hotel had also advertised free WiFi, but the WiFi was only accessible for Bonvoy members… Normally, this wouldn’t have mattered much, but my cell reception inside the hotel was virtually non existent; I couldn’t even receive texts. For more than $200 per night, you should have WiFi!!!

Property was clean. Parking was very easy and it was located next to many places to eat. Also right next to a target and Starbucks which was very nice. My only complaint is that the AC unit in the room made the room smell like mildew and caused me to get very congested. Definitely hasn’t been maintained/cleaned in a while.

The staff at the front desk and bistro were very professional and pleasant, the room was very clean and comfortable.

Staff was amazing and helpful. We did find dirt, and grime in the room, along with someones dirty socks in a drawer. There was mold frozen into the ice in the back of the mini fridge. The pull out bedding almost seemed used. We were also really bummed there was no pool anymore. Overall the bed was comfy, and we slept fine. We'd probably stay here again.

We were a little underwhelmed with our stay. Upon entering our room it smelled of faint cat litter. For dinner we stayed in and ordered from the bistro. Our burgers were over cooked and dry. The salad seemed spoiled.

Check in was odd because they switched our room and didn’t inform me about it until I asked. After that, she compensated by giving us a voucher for breakfast and three bottles of water. Beds very comfy. Noisy upstairs and around us. Why no lotion? It’s so so dry in Reno. Hotels used to supply lotion… Overall, it was good but not five star.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were kind and friendly. My only complaint was that the AC unit in our room turned on, but did not cool our room temperature down enough for our comfort.

The room is both spacious and clean

The window in our room doesn't lock, the latch appears to be broken so the window doesn't seal. Wind was blowing in all night keeping us up. Also breakfast doesn't start until 7, if you work, or your on a trip chances are your gone by then which was true in our case. The window though really ruined the stay.

I drove up from Fresno CA to my brothers wedding in Reno this past weekend. I get out of work at 6pm and we notified the hotel multiple times that we would check in around midnight. After a long and tiring trip we get to the front office and Ron checks us in. The first question he asks is “name” so I go ahead and tell him “check in for Angel”. He looks back at me and says “you never check into a place with you first name”? Well it turns out my 2 other brothers with my same last name were also going to check in so I was trying to make it easier. I gave him my last name and he continued to explain why you NEVER say your first name at check in. We are tired from traveling, the last thing I want to deal with is unpleasant staff. I will not be staying at this hotel again. Ron can take his attitude elsewhere. This is how you loose a customer. That’s probably why he is working the night shift.

great hotel! Front desk lady was very nice and warm welcome!

The staff was attentive and friendly. They called to check on us when we got into the room. The barista was friendly and fun to interact with. We told the front desk that the toilet seat was loose.

The hotel and staff provide above and beyond service. The representative was attentive and explained the stay and went over the amenities the hotel offered. The hotel Is clean and the experience was well received. This was a world class service experience and if you’re looking for an amazing place to stay based on the room and the service both are On point

Everything for checkin went well

Upon checkin we only received linnens for 3 when we booked room for 4. Service worker cleaning rooms refused to give extra towels. What happened to pool?? Main reason our group of 9 families chose this location.

The staff was amazingly accommodating from the moment we checked in. We’ll be back!

Easy check in & check out. Cordial staff and clean room. Beds were comfy! I highly recommend.

This hotel cancelled my one week reservation without telling me and when I arrived to the hotel closer to midnight after a long two days travel, the front desk person told me that my stay is cancelled and the hotel was fully booked, so I couldn’t get a room and I had to look somewhere else and it took me a while to find a room in an other hotel. Very disappointed.

Checking in was great. Had to add another night so I called the front desk the next day while still there and she gave me so much attitude. “While you were searching around for prices, we ran out of rooms”. Horrible customer service

Great area in town, close to food, Dutch Bros (coffee), and a very new and clean looking property. Staff is friendly, breakfast in the morning was a hit, great stay for a family with kids!

Good choices for pillows, good black out drapes. The portions for breakfast were huge and the gentleman behind the counter was warm and outgoing.

The staff was exceptionally nice. The only downside is that the AC in the room was in a corner half blocked by the desk so there wasn't much airflow. They have complementary cookies in the evening, hot chocolate and the gym was fantastic.

Nice clean modern hotel . I wish they had a spa. Breakfast was not very good , dry breakfast burrito.
