Stayed 1 night

The hallway and room itself had a bad, musty stench to it. The carpets have damage and wall trim had damage. Took a shower and the drain was very slow. And yes, I checked of the tub stopper was engaged and it was not. I went to wash my hands and the sink drain was also very slow! Being there for only one night, I didn’t bother to complain or change rooms, but these items are so basic, it’s a shame they don’t have their standards set properly with staff. I had a view of a rooftop and there were at least 6 dead birds right in front of my field of view.

Staff were friendly, shout out to Jade L for the assist in changing our rooms due to poor location. Sky Tower is too far of a walk for people with canes or walkers. If the tram worked it would be fine but it hasn’t run since COVID days. Stay in North Tower if you have any type of mobility issue. Good house bands play there too.

Hotel is ok, a bit below expectations for the price. They will likely have you stay in an adjacent building, so there is a bit of a skyway walk to actually get to your room. The room was a little rough on the edges, the lights were making a weird noise, and flaking paint and wallpaper. Free shuttle to the airport is nice and staff were helpful.

Stayed 4 nights

It took me over 2 hours to find my car in one of two delipidated and dark labyrinth parking garages. The internet was not working in my room and was not fixed until the morning of my 3rd day of my 4-night stay. I tried phoning the hotel operator, the engineer department, and talking to 3 or 4 employees at the registration desk, but they did not seem to care. One finally called the engineer while I was present, and an engineer showed up on the second day and said he would find out what the problem was and return in about an hour; of course he never returned! I talked again to the registration desk employee and then the hotel manager. I said I needed to have the internet fixed or move me to another room AND have my $45 resort fee refunded for the first 2 days of no internet and no attempt to fix it. They refused to refund the resort fee. This was a trip for work, and I needed the internet to write reports for work.
