The only real issue is the walk from the parking garage to the Resort Tower

The valet took about 40 mins. or more locating our car. on the first night which made us late for an event. They couldn't find it. At checkout the wait for valet to bring the car took an hour. I found false eyelash on the bed sheets the first night so we used our own blanket, also there was no toilet paper for four women. I called for services but the phone call went unanswered.

The check in was fine, however there is a resort fee of 54 dollars upon check and a 100 deposit. The rooms had great AC and black out shades, beds were comfortable. But the bathtub did not have a plastic shower curtain which cause the cloth shower curtain to soak up and drip water outside the tub which could make it easy for someone to slip and fall. The dining options were limited...not many small eats available when you get back from a night out. The valet to depart was a 1 hour and 20 minute wait which may have been avoided if I checked out early, but it should not have taken that long either way.

There were no rooms upon check in, no huge deal. We grabbed a drink and hung out, upon check in the staff was definitely friendly and courteous. The room was ok with very little amenities, and I didn't realize the train yard was right outside, it was horribly noisy. AC system is antiquated, and only has high/low option, no auto. The pool seemed very un-maintained. Definitely not somewhere I would be excited to stay at again, definitely not for the price we paid. way overpriced for what is offered. Last but not least we did visit the steak house, most of the food was amazing and the price was fair for what you were getting. The staff was professionally polite but seemed by force. They did not seem happy to be there. To be fair seemed like they did have to deal with some entitled guests. overall everything was ok at best. I am not sure if there is better in the area, but it definitely was not great.

Ample parking and easy access. Nice room accommodations. Good variety of restaurants.

The king suite was excellent. Check-in was easy. You can walk across the 2nd level convention center to get to the parking structure avoiding the casino.. lots of pinball and video game arcade to keep the young ones busy. The area around the hotel is not walkable but there are very good restaurants nearby for breakfast or dinner.

Everything was wrong!! When we got there we checked in and everything good, but when we got to the room we found flying cockroaches, spiders and all kind of insects. So we went to get the room changed, so they did changed the room for us but guess what that room had insects too it was gross. We booked 2 rooms and my sister booked one all of the rooms were full of flying cockroaches, spiders and like I said all kind of insects. They never try to make it better if you wonder why well because the whole hotel is that way. All the employees said that the owners knew that all the rooms were invaded by insects and they wouldn't do anything about it. It was the worse experience.

Very dirty! Lumpy uncomfortable pillows! Found something dried up black in color in my sheets!

The first room we got was dirty, but the guy at the front desk got us a new, clean room, which was fine. But I had to physically go down to the front desk because they simply do not pick up calls- over multiple days I tried calling the front desk but not once did they answer. Even better, a baby in the neighboring room (which had a shared door) cried literally the entire night, so we didn't sleep much and, of course, couldn't call about it. The door was slightly ajar all night too, so I was also a little concerned that someone just left their baby unattended all night. I tried to bring this up to a woman at the front desk, her response was, "What do you want us to do, tell the baby to shut up?" I didn't feel like arguing this with someone supposedly in the "hospitality industry", but she didn't feel like trying to do *anything*. So yeah, I guess expect a decent room (provided it's clean), and sub-par service if you encounter an issue.

Bed was dirty. Had sand and hair like they didn’t change the sheets out from The previous people That stayed there.

There was rocks under the sheets, the bathroom was dirty.

Excellent clean room

Very dirty. We upgraded to a suite and when we arrived and pulled out the pull out sofa, the bedding wasn’t changed and it had trash, make up and blood all over the sheets. There was brown stuff smeared. I had myself and my kids in this room and the entire time I felt uncomfortable with the cleanliness. Overall a large portion of the hotel/casino is extremely out of date and run down. We are locals and this hotel took a nose dive. Go look at the Peppermill, Atlantis, or GSR. Those are my local recommendations. I’m truly appalled by what the Nugget has become.

The first night we checked on their was blood stained sheets. And someone else's hair all over the uncleaned shower. This was at almost 11pm when we got to our room with our young children. Management wanted to send you house keeping at almost midnight to clean the room and remake the beds. I told them that wouldn't be an option with my young children already asleep. So we had to strip the beds and sleep on the mattress pad covers, luckily we had a few of our own blankets to use. I went down the very next morning to speak with the front desk to which I was assured over and over it would be all cleaned and made and made better. Yet they would only comp my resort fee for the. Night, Even though I am a very regular customer. So we went about our day and stuff we wanted to do while visiting family in the area. We come back to the hotel about 1030pm after a very long day with our children, and low and behold they had remade our beds with the very same dirty linens that we stripped from our beds the night before. And didn't even bother with cleaning out the shower whatsoever. So again same problem solving skills from management..yet again they wanted to send housekeeping up at nearly midnight to clean the room. To which I had to say again is not an option with my children already asleep in the room. So I had no other option but to keep the room for the night and sleep with noo linens whatsoever again. So I went to speak with front desk, I was treated very very poorly by am Manage

Our room on the 20th floor had the windows facing a rail yard. All night I heard the banging and screeching of the rail cars being moved and connected. Also, we stayed 2 nights and did not get maid service until an hour before we checked out.

There isn’t a breakfast, not sure why it asks about breakfast in here. The hotel is very much bare bones, no coffee in your room, minimal things in there. The pool was nice, the hotel is very clean and things aren’t run down at all. However, the walls are so thin I could hear phones ringing in other rooms and the sounds of the train tracks are so loud and disturbing. The bed it terribly hard and uncomfortable, and I like a firm mattress, but this was just hard. Barely slept form all for he sounds even over my sound machine, which I brought because of my last experience at this hotel. It’s a clean place to stay, that’s about it.

Beds were comfortable. The view of the city was nice. And bathroom anf room was spacious. My complaints were how hot the room was. It says it has a/c but it barely worked. Our mini fridge knob was broke and couldn't get it cool. When someone did come they rigged it with a rubber band. Because of heat we were gonna move to another room but it was hot too. We asked if they had a fan and was told no. So planned on buying one. But the manager found one. So it was easier to sleep. Also I saw there wasnt a coffee pot with coffee. So i called to see if they had one i could use. They said yes but would cost us $15. After paying a hefty resort fee for each night, I feel that stuff should have been free.

These are normally provided - No coffee maker, no microwave, only 2 plastic cups? Rosie's Cafe needs to work on their process & make it more consistent. Ordered food on Monday afternoon at the front counter (no problem). On Tuesday went there for lunch, the lady was having a personal conversation with her friends at the counter. Asked about ordering, she said to wait in line, get a menu & talk to the man at the end of counter. OK, approached him about placing an order. He then said to go to the back of the restaurant & order from another counter. OK, 3rd person now to place order. That waitress was serving food to customers at tables. Finally she walked over, took the order, but.... we had to stand in line & pay for the meal back at person #2, front of restaurant - pick-up food from her at back of restaurant. Well, food was cold sitting there waiting for us. It took 45 minutes to order & get our cold meals. (Also to be charged $2 for a to go container is greedy).

The property is next to the train yard, loud noise day and night. Not worth the price charging for a resort hotel.

The a/c did not work

Room 1629, casino tower, corner room. The price was good but there's a resort fee that covers wifi. Wifi was ridiculously slow in the room. There was a fridge but no microwave or coffee maker. Bed was extremely comfortable. Loved the 3 sided clock with 2 USB ports. Shower had plenty of pressure and hot water. It was quiet. The ac didn't work well and the temperature outside was in the 90s. If our stay had been in the spring or fall, the weather would have been milder so we could have open the curtains and windows. The service engineer was able to bring the temperature down a bit but couldn't keep it down long enough. Appears to be a problem with the floors as you go higher. The cafe food was ok. All the staff we had contact with were very nice and courteous.

Did not like the fact that rooms do not have coffee makers. And there is no coffe for guests unless you want starbucks

The whole experience from the valet to the room was amazing. The waitress in the cafe was wonderful! The only issue was the bell person. She literally slapped at my mom’s hand when my mom went to catch her pillow that was falling off the cart. We get doing her job and protecting our belongings and she hadn’t seen my mom with us but had she been paying attention to our belongings, the pillow wouldn’t have almost fallen off thus avoiding the whole situation in the first place.

Having been a while since i stayed at The Nugget, I chose to stay there while taking care of family stuff. When I arrived the young lady that checked me in was not friendly at all, gave me room keys and said enjoy your stay. I had to ask which way to elevators. The room was clean but stuffy, even though i requested no adjoining room, I still had one. Fine. After having a 12 hour day of driving I decided to order room service so I didn't need to go out. No info book in room but tv had guest info that said "for room service scan QR code on desk in room". There was no QR code anywhere in room. Called front desk, put on hold for 10 minutes, hung up & called back, and was told "just go to website and choose mobile ordering". Here's a suggestion, put the QR code in the "hotel info" on the tv. The room rate was great at $42/night but then there's a $200 Resort fee which I think is a crock. Any true Resort that I have been to includes maid service automatically. Not The Nugget, here you must request it. It would have been helpful to know this when I checked in, but I wasn't provided that info. The only thing I needed was trash to be taken out. Here's another suggestion, valet parking should be included when staying at hotel. Next year I'll go back to staying at Western Village.

The first night there was a maintenance issue (dirty air filters causing odor). I informed Expedia, and the next day housekeeping contacted me and fixed the issue. Excellent service by Omar and the staff. I even extended my stay (through Expedia). Thank you!

After a noisemakers kept us up the first night. They quickly moved us to a quiet floor. No problems from then on.

I travel a lot and I don't frequently run into customer service as poor as Imwe received here. Unattended front desk many times during the day, dropped calls to the operator and no apologies or responsibility taken when you finally can connect with someone. I say this having stayed at the Nugget several times over the past 15 years and it is just sliding down the drain and nowhere near worth the price nowadays in my opinion.

Room was clean, free easy parking, great restaurant downstairs, only complaint was the lumpy pillows. Also is not really walkable since it sits away from the main strip, but that also makes it quieter

The hotel smelled musty. The room seemed run down and I didn’t like how far the room was from the casino and restaurant areas.

Great location for Hot August Nights Check in was slow. Only 1 staff on duty at130 pm. This is one of the reasons K Mart went OOB, 10 REGISTERS AND ONLY ONE OPEN.

The hotel is easy to find closed to the hwy but quiet

We had a very comfortable room in the Tower. Great location, easy to go in any direction.

Went for our daughters track meet. Great location. Starbucks in lobby was open before 6 am. 5 restaurants to choose from on site. Clean. Would definitely do it again if we found ourselves in reno.

It was a good hotel. The only thing I can complain about is the freeway road noise. I was on the 20th floor and could hear the road noise from the room.

Everything was good except for the room service. It said it would be fresh ice tea and it wasn't it was bottled. The French fries was cold. The bread was hard.... definitely not worth the money

Biscuit and gravy breakfast at Rosie's Cafe caused diarrhea. Overall, all other areas were good. Check-in and check-out was quick.

It was a nice clean room. The staff was very friendly. Only thing was the Island Grill food was not up to par for what you get. They need more Keto Friendly options. Also, the breakfast at Rosies was much better. Loved the atmosphere. The Nugget needs an upgrade a bit over all. But for a day or two it was nice.

Checking in at the kiosk took forever for some reason. Our room and whole floor smelled like cigarettes. Their is no where good left to eat. They cut the menu you down at island grill and you order from a kiosk now. 1 coke is 5.00, pot stickers (6) 13.00 and orange chicken 18.00. Rosie's cafe is just as expensive now as well. The worst was being woke up to by house keeping opening our door at 8am to yell house keeping. I forgot to put the do not disturb sign, but with check out at 11am that was still to early!. I get they need to stay cleaning early but that is not my fault they don't hire enough people. With all the fees they charge now just let me relax until the time they actually gave me to check out! I get if it was a Friday or Saturday but it was Sunday most people are leaving not checking in. What was meant as a mini vacation cost me 46 for the room 60 in fees 100 for deposit (yes the return) lunch 36.00 (i went to dinner off the hotel way cheaper). Breakfast at Starbucks was way cheaper.

I stayed a couple of days for a business. My room was in the Resort Tower facing the railroad tracks to the south. Unfortunately I could hear the trains all night long, so a good nights sleep wasn’t an option. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean, no coffee maker just to small bottles of water. I ate at the Oyster Bar which was delicious— though completely on the other side of the smoky Casino.

Fire alarm went off continuously around 2 am and no one on duty at hotel knew how to fix it…comment from staff was “at least you know it works”. Couldn’t go back to sleep. No coffee pot in room and when I asked we were told that would be an additional $10 charge. Almost 2 hour wait to receive breakfast order from Rosie’s Cafe…overall just a bad experience.
