I love Embassy Suites. We stay there all the time across the country. One of the things I enjoy about them is their afternoon reception, as it is something that makes Embassy Suites stand out from other hotels. This is the first time in my history of staying there that the hotel did not offer beer/wine as part of their reception. They had a lovely poster displayed in their lobby about it with a very small after the fast post it stating "non alcoholic only" . Total disappointment. Maybe all Embassy Suites have done away with their late afternoon reception, but it would likely change our motivation to seek them out going forward!

The rollaway bed in our room was missing clean sheets, which was inconvenient. Additionally, there was consistently a long wait to speak with the front desk attendant. We also noticed a $9 charge for a small bottle of Fiji water placed in the room - a charge only disclosed in a small note, making it feel more like a trap than a courtesy. The gym was okay. And so was the pool. The hotel charges for guest parking and WiFi.

Everything was great except for the elevator. They had three elevators, which were all incredibly slow. It took 10 minutes for the elevators to arrive. It was really slow and all the guests noticed it. We were taking bets on how long they would take as we waited.

I specifically called the day before check-in to make sure the pool was open. The pool is one of the reasons we chose this hotel. We were assured it would be open when we arrived. When we arrived, we found that the pool was closed for maintenance. They could've told me that when I called. Very upsetting!

The entire window frame in room 414 was covered in black mold as well as the bathroom vent fan. There was also pink and orange mold in the shower. The front desk staff tries to be helpful but they are extremely understaffed. I checked out as soon as I found the mold, showing the front desk associate the photos. She was very understanding and said she would pass it on to management and have audit check me out. Well, i called at 9am to discover i had not been checked out yet snd that there was no managers available. First it was the manager was off for 2wks, lol. Then it was well the other managers are all off today. All of them? No managers on duty for 9am busy checkout time 🤔 I contacted Hotels.com and was denied a refund by the hotel. Hilton Corporate is now handling the situation... oh, and the local health department. Absolutely disgusting. Oh.. and there's already a guest in there now. Wow. Awful all around. 0 stars

My shower was full of mold. I changed to a different room than the AC didn’t work in that room. I changed to a third room more mold. Fourth room was much better no mold and AC worked.

Breakfast was devine, except they out of certain menu items. The room was comfortable but not as clean as I would have liked. The sheets has holes and stains, and were hospital quality- not very soft. Duvet, blanket and pillows looked worn in, probably should be replaced soon. Rooms were not quiet - could hear constant working outside. Nothing within walking distance except for other hotels and a Costco, which I am not a member of. Bathrooms were fine but toilet seat was loose/broken. And towels were left under the sink and were not soft. Upholstery should also be replaced - the sofa and chairs had stains, and carpeting throughout the hotel was also stained. There was trash left in the hallway. The one trash barrel I found on the outside was full to the brim. The “dog area” was literally a just section of the parking lot. The complimentary drinks were out of ingredients. As we were checking out, we were costed by the Hilton Honors/timeshare lady trying to sell me a vacation package if I listen to a timeshare presentation and I was in a rush to get to work. Would I stay there again? Probably not.

If you like beds that look like they’ve been slept in, large stains on your fabric headboards, stained upholstery, splash (of what we you don’t know) covered wallpaper/walls, dirty/hairy baseboards and corners and chipped furniture, this hotel is for you. OTHERWISE, steer clear. Oh, and if you like to go to eat breakfast in a room with tepid coffee, sticky floors, dirty tabletops (all available ones) and room towels on the floors to catch the leaks from various appliances, then this place is definitely for you. OTHERWISE, steer clear. There are plenty of other options in Waltham and they cannot be any worse and some would be much better. Embassy Suites should be ashamed of this location. Inspect inspect inspect!!!! 0/10 UGH

Housekeeping services was HORRIBLE. Every night we came back to our suite there was an issue. By the 3rd day-the room was “half” done. And we were told the 3rd day is when a complete room cleaning would be done. On the 4th day we got back at 6PM and our room was never even cleaned. We had been gone for about 7 hours. We had to wait almost an hour for the room to be done. The carpet in the halls and elevator area were not vacuumed. Saw the same items on the floors for 3 days. Our glasses and dishes were never removed or replaced. We had to do it ourselves.

The hotel was so full. It took 40 min to checkin at 11pm. My room wreaked of cigarettes like I was in a humid ashtray. It took over an hour for them to supply extra bedsheets and pillows for the sofa bed. Breakfast was mediocre. Parking was not included nor is it being monitored. Just an way to squeeze extra money from guests

Our room heating/air unit was having a problem and making an awful racket on our first night, we informed the staff and they quickly and efficiently got us into another room. They were incredibly warm and helpful throughout our stay.

Very friendly when I called the front desk. Curtains in the room were torn and lamp shade had water damaged. They did offer to move me but I didn’t want to because I was right next door to my son and daughter in law. I think the cleaning staff should have a cleaning check list to turn in for each room completed then if there is a problem you can compare the employee list with the complaint.

This place was very clean and comfortable from the moment your walk in. It was in a great location. The service was very friendly and the breakfast was amazing. The only drawback was a furnace in our room was quite loud all night and I didn't realize parking would cost $15.

People at the front desk were friendly and helpful, as were any staff regarding towels or other needs. The room was comfortable, but ready for upgrades. There is some noise if you are on the sections facing into the middle of the building, so ask for a back room if you need quiet. Overall, welcoming and you get extra benefits being a Hilton Honors member, which is free. Great location for Uber or friends picking you up, since so close to interstate. I would stay again, particularly if traveling alone.

This is a little older hotel, but it's in great shape and very clean. They have a nice bar and area for happy hour with light appetizers. Rooms were spacious and clean. The breakfast in the morning had plenty of choices and the made to order omelettes are always wonderful.

The room felt like 1975. The wallpaper above the bed was peeling away, with mold behind it. Lamp shades had oil stains. The carpet was old and dirty. My Hotels profile makes clear that I need feather free bedding. There were 6 down pillows on the bed and it took an hour before I was provided with a pillow that would allow me to sleep there. I won’t return or recommend this place.

overall it was nice, nice complimentary breakfast; the beds and pillows were comfy; downside: there is an open space on the main floor which kids used to play ball and was very loud and it didn't stop until about 11 pm, not sure guests appreciated that as all the rooms surround it; a suggestion regarding the smoke area outside, put a garbage can out there because people just left empty bottles, cigarette packs etc, and it was all still out there for 2 days, another thing was with the NON- complimentary water in the room, instead of putting a couple of small generic bottles in the room, they had 2 bottles of Fuji water with price tags on them for $9.50 if I drank one...I'd rather have none at all then to see that.

The body wash and shampoo was out and we asked for 2 days for them to fill the containers - even bringing the empty ones down to the front desk - they were never filled. Had to beg for clean towels. The confirmation I received said $75 per night for a “hold” and instead they did $100 per night. I asked about this and was told they was an error about the $75 even though it was in writing so that’s what they charged. Not impressed at all.

Check-in wasnt friendly at all but no biggie. After driving all day, we were happy to be out of the car. After we got to the room we noticed there were no sheets for the pull out. Not a problem, called down to the front desk to ask for sheets and 2 towels. We only had 2 in the room for a group of 4. Was told they'll take care of things, hours later, 2 calls and a visit down we were told soon. In the end, 4 hours later we ended up borrowing towels and sheets from people on our floor. Update - just got a blanket and 1 towel, 4 and half hours later. Hopefully, after some sleep, breakfast will be better.

My family live only a few minutes from the hotel so for me when I go and visit it’s the perfect place to stay. However I think this might be my last time at the property. The property is clean, the room is comfortable and spacious, and the free breakfast is great However there are a lot of little things that really irritate me especially in terms of housekeeping and front desk. When I arrived to the room there were no batteries in the remote controls, there was no shampoo, conditioner, or body lotion in the room. I contacted the front desk they said they would take care of it and nothing. The following day I requested it again and they did nothing. Finally I was upset and I spoke to them and they had a gentleman bring up a bottle of just conditioner and the bottle was almost fully empty. So they need to figure out the connection between requests to the front desk and housekeeping because there is a disconnect somewhere. The sheets on my bed were put on inside out and when housekeeping serviced the room they did not even replace the towels. There is a Westin and a Marriott across the street And they will be getting my business moving forward because you pay good money to take a nice shower and you don’t bring products with you because they are supplied for you, yet there were no products and after countless requests the front desk never made any thing happen. Parking is also a little ridiculous at $15 per night. Thank you for a safe day but it will be my last

This is the only hotel I stay when in town, it’s a no brainer. The people that works there are cordial and always ready to help. Hillary, the manager is one of the most cordial person to interact with. Recommended to anyone visiting Waltham

The Embassy Suites in Waltham has a great location with respect to I95, and is only 25 minutes from downtown Boston. The accommodations are a bit dated but very comfortable and clean. The staff is very pleasant and willing to help out. The breakfast buffet has been simplified over the years - as might be expected with rising food prices - but the made to order omelet is still a feature!

Hotel is nice and clean but there was a couple large groups there during two nights of our stay and it got pretty noisy. The open concept of the atrium area looks great but it allows all the noise from the dining/bar area to travel to the upper floors. Hotel is not close to public transport, about 40 min walk to nearest bus stop but I knew that when booking. I did not appreciate having to pay to park at the hotel considering the lack of public transportation. Overall the hotel was nice, free hot breakfast was tasty, staff are great and the price was good.

Overall, the hotel and property are great. This was my second stay there. My only complaint is in April they did not charge for parking for Hilton members, but this visit they did. This is not a downtown hotel and there is ample parking. The hotel is also not near public transit. It's a petty money grab after the hotel is already booked.

Not up to the standards at other Embassy Suites. Breakfast no waffles as advertised. Guy got the omelette wrong both days , toaster wasn’t working correctly. Not allowed to take food to room despite few seats. Very disappointed. Didn’t use wifi , never have I ever had to pay for it! Bathtub stains. Needed a vacuum. Never plan to stay at that location again will stay at the Fairfield.
