Check-in process was easy. Lobby and entrance were decently clean. Elevator smelled like cigarette smoke. Brochures hi-lighting local attractions were from 2024, and it’s now June 2025. Stayed at the Hampton Inn Cartersville GA may 26-29. Terrible experience. Elevator about breaking down to my wash rag in my room being stuck in the ceiling where a light fixture was removed . My room did not have a remote to the tv so I called front desk and they said they would bring me one that was my first night . I didn’t receive my remote til Saturday . Was not happy with my stay and decided to leave a day early . Went to front desk and tried to get refund for my last day . It was 1:05 pm Sunday . Clerk told me where if WAS PAST 1200 I could not have a refund . I give this hotel a 2 out of 10. Terrible experience. I would never stay there again . I have included a picture of the wash rag stuffed in the hole of the ceiling

The staff was friendly and helpful. However we asked for our sheets to be changed after the 3rd night and they were not. We did not have a DND on the door that day of our stay and made the request to the front desk and a housekeeper in the hallway. they replaced towels and took trash but did not change the sheets as requested. Due a renovation to start in November, it needs it - furniture that is fabric covered is pretty gross and needs deep cleaned or removed, laminate peeling off casegoods. they do a pretty good breakfast that is included and the pool was nice but some of the pool furniture is broken, check your chair before you sit down. Suited the purpose of our trip, bed was comfortable, convenient to Canton and Cartersville.

The accessible room (330) we booked had only one hand bar in the tub/shower which was located on the far right and sort of high up, from where the faucet was located. A rubber mat would have been nice to have in the shower. We had no housekeeping on one of the days. I was able to get fresh towels at 10:00pm after being out all day. We could not really enjoy the large screen TV because the Live TV channels were not connected to the internet. We had a very limited selection of what we could watch. Since we were taking a short vacation this is not what we were going for at all. I did double check at check-in to make sure we had an accessible room and was told yes it was. She offered to switch our room to a king room with a roll-in shower, we did need 2 beds. At check out I brought up these 3 items and was told they were short handed and that she would tell the manager. On a more positive note this hotel does offer a convenient location, plenty of parking, and was very clean overall.

Entire hotel is dirty. Room stunk, shower curtain was soured, floor was not clean. Breakfast area also dirty. Looking down from the 2nd floor into the breakfast area was very dirty. This hotel is in desperate need of a remodel. We have stayed at many Hampton Inns and this one was unbelievably rundown and filthy. To make it worse, we were in town for a baseball tournament and had to pay very inflated prices. We tried to leave, but there was zero availability anywhere in the area. Everyone from our team had the same bad experience and yet somehow this hotel has a 4.5 star rating?? Clearly they are filtering their reviews and I will guess this one will not be visible to the public either. We had blood stained sheets, filthy furniture, insects in multiple rooms, and a terrible musty smell throughout the hotel. The staff will try to be helpful, but they too even agreed it was old and dirty. I have multiple pictures but don’t see an option to post them here. Unacceptable hotel!!

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast bar had lots of choices and was very good. The only thing I saw that needed a little attention was the shower. It smelled musty and had some mold in the corners but other than that, it was a great experience. Thank you for your hospitality.

Check-in was easy, staff was friendly. Beds were comfortable, great shower water pressure. However, the hotel needs an overall good cleaning because hair is everywhere and chairs and carpet need replaced because everything seems heavily stained. We stayed for two nights, in two rooms as a family of 5, for kids’ sports at nearby athletic facility. I had read reviews and was disappointed with the reality, but unable to cancel due to Expedia’s policy. I imagine this hotel was wonderful a decade ago and it’s sad to see it so dirty. Please note, Expedia’s site is not allowing me to leave a one star review for cleanliness.

The staff at this Hampton Inn was very nice. Ashley Blanks was more than friendly and accommodating, even making a fresh pot of coffee at 8 pm. Room and bathroom were clean. The breakfast was limited- bacon would have been nice. The room was tiny and crowded. The carpet in both the lobby and the room was musty smelling. The walls were dingy, the bedspread a dingy looking white.

I appreciated that they allowed pets on the property, but also, that most of the staff liked them. The room was comfortable and had a good mattress. The cleanliness left a bit to be desired. Clean room, a very good breakfast and extremely nice and friendly staff. Hotel sits up on a hill and was beautifully decorated inside the lobby for Christmas. Will definitely make this our halfway stop when we travel from Florida to Ohio.

After a 6 hour drive, we arrived after the 3pm check-in time and was told our room was not ready. We were in a hurry to change and leave for a funeral. I had prepaid for a King room with sofa bed. 2 adults, 2 teenagers. The hotel then gave me a key to a diff room but when I asked if it was a king with sofa-bed she said no, just a king. She said no other rooms were available. I told her that was unacceptable and after a few minutes she had a room with a king bed and sofa-bed available. No info about breakfast or wifi or free waters were given. The room was not in the best shape. Bedside table was broken, shower doors were dirty. This hotel has seen better days. I usually always pick a Hampton Inn but this location did not meet the normal standards.
