Very close for our football game and the room was clean. Very understaffed. Very few parking spots. We had to pay $50 to park across the street in a dirty low lit lot. Trash piled up all over the streets. Unsafe feeling about my vehicle.

If you are attending an event at the Tabernacle, you’re in for a treat! When I tell you it’s across the PARKING LOT??!!! It’s across the parking lot with less than a 3 minute walk. The Ferris wheel is next to the event venue and for late night grubbing, the Waffle House is on the corner! It’s also close to the Marta rail system so save your uber coins, buy a Marta pass and enjoy the ease of transport through the city from the hotel. 2. The vibe is eclectic chic and you feel bougie luxe without the stuffiness. It’s a great balance between chic and charm. The fitness center is well equipped and the Zen view and patio brings the tranquility of songbirds and whistling winds! 1. The service is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Every staff member I encountered had a small from ear to ear and was always eager to confirm my satisfaction with my stay! Honorable mention to Nene who started my emasculate customer experience months before I arrived through question and answer sessions. While this hotel is one for the Yeasss! I have one small consideration… the lights in the rooms are low. If you are planning a trip that involves full glam, know that the lighting in the entire room( including the bathroom) is mediocre at best. Bring your own light!!!! My family and I, had a great time at the hotel. We want THANK Mimi and Mercedes for their excellent hospitality!! My son Lorde and granddaughter Alice enjoyed their time at the pool. First off the hotel greets you with the smell of marijuana. The smell was very noticeable! Only one elevator works! We had to wait 20 minutes to get downstairs because the elevator was so crowded You’re forced to valet park! Or park in an unsafe parking lot across the street! Pet friendly hotel not limited to one destined floor. Breakfast 18 not even worth! Bottom line this was a over priced motel 6!

Let me start with the staff at this location was great. The hotel is right across from Olympia park and next to a Waffle House. The hotel itself seems dated and not kept up. The rooms and lobby had an odor. Can’t describe it but it just didn’t smell fresh. Valet guys were a little rude but I believe they are contracted. They are fast though. The area is sketchy with homeless people around but they really don’t bother you, they are just around. The doors stay locked and they have insight security at night and require you to use your room key for access. Only one elevator is functional. I wouldn’t return bc I prefer a more modern stay but it’s okay for 1-2 nights but def wouldn’t recommend for a lengthy stay. Valet is also $50/day but there is across the street parking at your own risk

Check in was a breeze. Sorry i cant remember the young man's name. He was very helpful and we truly appreciated his hospitality.The hotel was well appointed. All areas well keep to included the pool and pool area. Nice lounge and bar area. Bed comfortable. Phenomenal location walkable 10/10. And a few minutes to many other attractions.We would stay again.

Not only was I charged twice for for my room incidental fee for some strange reason. When I finally get to my room and lay my son down for bed, I noticed fresh blood stains on the sheets. Almost as if nobody even bothered to examine the actual cleanliness of the room. If I could upload pictures on here, I would. This is absolutely unacceptable under any circumstance.

Everything was satisfactory except for the problems with the TV and AC. I hooked to my YouTube TV account and I was seeing commercials for the hotel brand during programming. AC control wasn’t working even after asking front desk for help. She basically told me to use the thermostat. Well, duh.

From the moment we walked in to the lobby, the staff was amazing. I won "guest of the day" at random (didn't even know that was a thing) and the front desk attendant made it such a fun little surprise with a bottle of wine for us. She tried so hard to make our experience special and put us on the top floor. I was excited since we were downtown, but my excitement ended once we stepped in the room. It had one tiny window in the corner, the smallest window I have ever seen in a hotel room outside of NYC! Our view was simply of the windows of the building next door. The room was quite small but that was fine for the two of us for one night. As with the last AC Marriott I stayed at, the door to the bathroom is sliding glass so privacy was minimal if business needed to get done in the bathroom, especially since the bed was literally 4 feet from the glass door. Location was perfect, right across the street from the Tabernacle. Ambiance was so so... I kind of expected the restaurant to be more "happening". As guest of the day we received complimentary breakfast and there was a decent amount of options on the buffet, but not sure I would have paid for it.

This was our second trip to see a concert at the State Farm Arena. The Embassy Suites where we stayed on our first trip was booked up so we picked out the AC Hotel which is also a short walk to the arena and other sites around Olympic Park. First off, the staff at the AC Hotel were very friendly and accommodating to their guests. The hotel was very clean, gym was really nice, and the breakfast although you have to pay for it was good. My criticism of the hotel were things that are not in control of the wonderful staff. Because of the hotel's age and layouts the room had only one small window and was very dark even in mid-afternoon, that had us having to leave the lights on constantly, not very eco friendly. The room was also surprisingly small for the double queen we stayed in. Finally cable services and internet were not working well during our three day stay though they were trying to fix the issue. Once again these issues do not reflect negatively on the great staff that work there. If every back in the area again my first choice would be a stay at the Embassy Suites, however I would not exlude the AC Hotel because it's in a great location and staff were wonderful.

Hotel looks great in the common areas. However, inside the room was dirty on the sides of the beds on the floors. As I appreciate no carpet on the floors were also not clean. But most importantly the air wouldn’t cool down all the way I had it set to the lowest setting 60 and it would not cool down stay around 71-72 which is to warm for me.

I think the only think I wasn't pleased with was the noise around the area. Our room was on the main Street side and it was quite noisy during the early morning hours. In addition, it was noisy in other adjacent rooms and areas near our room. Room was clean and staff was very accommodating.

Mimi at the front desk is DELIGHTFUL! She was super welcoming, efficient and accommodating. What a wonderful way to start our first Atlanta experience! Whatever Marriott pays this woman, give her a raise!!! The room was small but efficient with wonderful views of the city. Our king room worked well for our short, 3-day trip since there was only 2 of us, but I'd book a larger room if staying longer.

Our stay was AMAZING! We flew in super early and the lady at the front (wish I would have gotten her name) was so sweet and let us check in early. Had a issue with our sink and it was fixed immediately. Then we got to meet Mimi after sightseeing, and all I can say is wow! She was the kindest and gave us a bottle of champagne for our anniversary. Our whole stay from start to finish was perfection!

Interior hotel staff were amazing! They provided goodie bags for the kids upon arrival. The next morning I explained we were venturing to the aquarium and World of Coke, would like to leave my truck in the parking garage it had already been valeted to, but wanted to place my luggage in the truck. Front desk was very helpful and said valet would bring my truck around for us to place our bags. When we stepped out of the hotel door and spoke to valet my keys were handed to me and we were told to take our bags down the outdoor stairwell to the truck ourselves with no direction on where the truck was parked once we entered the stairwell. My friend and I had two small children with us and the stairwell was littered with liquor bottles. It did not feel safe at all. We finally found the truck, after walking past busted up mattresses, and had to squeeze into the drivers side door to pull up to open the tailgate to place our luggage inside. At this point we felt unsafe and decided to just move to another parking deck at the aquarium. When trying to maneuver our way out of the parking deck the valet blocked the exit with the current car he was parking, got out and approached my truck. I rolled my window down and before I could speak he rudely stated “I thought you were just dropping off your bags?” I told him we had changed our minds and he finally moved to let us by. Again, we had two small children in the car so this whole situation made my friend and I very uncomfortable.

Ms. Tracy checked us in and was an absolute gem during our stay! Race day was cold and upon returning to the hotel, Ms. Tracy had hot chocolate with marshmallows out for guests as they were entering or leaving the property. The double queen room was very nice and easily accommodated three adults. The bathroom was absolutely beautiful and had a mounted shower head and a rain shower head. I used the rain shower head and it was awesome! My only "complaint" was that the bed looked more comfortable than what it truly was, but it did not deter me enjoying my night's sleep or my stay in general. The property is also walking distance to other great sites in downtown. I truly enjoyed our stay and plan on returning to take advantage of it's central location.

Wonderful lovely staff!!! Great area! We went for the Falcons Packers game and it was a short walk to the stadium. Many places to eat all walkable. The hotel was beautiful! Room super clean, comfy beds, awesome shower! Love the outdoor patio. Wonderful fireplace. We sat outside and watched college football with the glow of the fireplace!!!! Tracy at the front desk was fantastic!!!

While arriving at the AC Marriott the welcoming on Thursday august 24 around 1pm wasn’t so warming I was greeted with a negative attitude when I asked question in regards to the payment I felt like o was bothering the worker because of the energy I received also when a second worker came out and ask the original worker did we needed help she replied while I was standing there I don’t know she also proceeded to take another guest while helping us after I ask her to give me a minute so I could properly transfer money

The AC Downtown Atlanta was wonderful. We loved the location and the room was so nice. We were a group of 3 couples and I was in charge or the hotel reservations. I called to confirm details and talked with Mimi. Mimi is a treasure!! She was so helpful and friendly. I had messed up and reserved 2 sets of reservations and Mimi advised and helped. She checked on both of our friends and gave my husband and I the best greeting when we arrived. We loved the AC but we will come back because of Mimi!

The location of this property is right next to the Olympic park and within walking distance of the World of Coke and Atlanta Aquarium. There are also multiple dining and shopping options within walking distance. The facility is beautiful and feels comfortable and safe. However, there are a lot of homeless people in the area and I am not sure about walking downtown after dark.

Good Clean property, breakfast was a bit pricey for the quality and quantity of the food, so I chose to buy microwave ready food, only one very old and weak microwave in the back available to use. Manytimes there was a lineup for the microwave. Either make microwaves available in room, or more than 1 microwave available.
