Although i am not totally handicapped, i do have walking issues. I found there were not many parking spaces close to the building except for handicap and special rewards spaces. I wish there were more spaces closer to the building f or older people.

Good location with eateries (highly recommend Texas Steakhouse) & shops very near. Back off the main road therefore quiet. Plenty of parking. Large, clean room. Welcoming reception staff. Nice pool area, hot tub was hot, pool a little cool. Good choice of breakfast. Our visit was over a holiday weekend and the breakfast seating area was too small to accommodate the number of visitors, sadly some food items ran out & lack of staff meant the area was not kept clean, guests could be more helpful in this matter tho. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Only one staff member checking people in, he was very nice but very busy. The morning breakfast staff were lovely. The pool was very cold and the water was cloudy, the area around the pool was also dirty.

Hotel was fully booked. Room smelled musty from a/c. Hard to justify paying almost $300 per night for the facility as it was. It’s an older property that has some updates but needs more. One elevator was out of service with a full house!

This is a nice clean property and more luxurious than some other hotels. The breakfast was fairly good, but I would have liked to see a small cafe on the property. We were able to walk to Chili's for a quick bite the first night we were there, so that was good. Beds and rooms are spacious and luxurious. Beds are quite comfortable. thank you.

The hotel is fine, and I actually thought it was nice when we first walked in. It has a very cozy feel to it. The problem was more with the guests than with the hotel, although if the walls weren't paper thin, it wouldn't have been that much of a problem. We had guests in the room next to us that decided to get chatty at 12:45am. We could hear their conversation right through the wall. And then the next night, the same guys were at it again, being chatty, along with the girls/children screaming like they were having a party in the room across from us. I had to get out of bed and go have a talk with them and ask them to keep the noise down. I mean, really? Do people have no common sense? Maybe something the hotel front desk can do when people check in is remind them that quiet time starts at 10pm (I'm not actually sure if it does, but in most hotels, that's what it is).

Mattress was horrible, worn, and had huge dip in the middle. Should have been replaced years ago. Was awakened during the night by pain in back, neck, and shoulders from it. No one at front desk @ 2am to attempt to get some Tylenol. Tried again after 4am and was able to pay $5 for 6 Tylenol. Was intending a quick, comfortable stay. Didn't happen.

Property is showing its age. Peeling wallpaper, old furnishings, inoperable elevator, broken shades, closet door, dead lightbulb, just really tired facility overall. Would not recommend.

The toilets were loud. You could hear everyone flush and it would wake me up. Despite these powerful "water-saving" flushes, they would explode the contents of the toilet and require multiple flushes to get everything down. The bath and shower controls were complicated, the room was dark, and it was difficult to figure out how to close and open the room darkening shade.

The stay was good. Extremely friendly staff! They don’t offer a ton of accommodations, accept breakfast and weak wifi. You have to pay for faster speeds. And take the time to make a fresh waffle, it’s worth it. Room doesn’t automatically get cleaned or restocked (towels/tissues/coffee) while you stay, but if you request they are quick to help. Rooms are a bit noisy but we were on first floor. We had a lot of smokers outside our window area at night, something to consider. Very clean rooms. Closet shelf was broken so we couldn’t use. They do have an iron with board. Small coffee maker in room, but reusable filters kept falling out causing me to spill coffee and burn myself. We had handicap bathroom and the floor was not designed well, so water was all over the place. Again, very clean. I am also a night light person, so I don’t wake my hubby when I get up to use bathroom. Not many options with that. But overall good stay. Hope that helps.

We only stay in Hamptons. Danbury is the best of all. This is why we have our yearly gatherings at this facility. It begins with super support from Monique. Rey was great checking in. The breakfast support is always consistently outstanding.. she inquires every year if we require anything in our conference room.. we love this place and the people.

The staff was very helpful when I added my sister to my room. They let her check into my room without me because my plane was late. My room was clean. Blanca was our housekeeperb and did an excellent job. The staff always greeted us with a smile. The breakfast choices were good and tasty. I highly recommend this Hampton Inn!

The internet did not work and the management seemed to have no interest in explaining why, much less fixing it. Also, there was no breakfast in the morning. I have stayed at many Hampton Inns, but this one is definitely a cut below their usual standards.

I reserved a king room several months in advance. They gave me a room with 2 double beds. I asked the front desk why they didn’t honor my request and was told the manager decided to give me 2 doubles instead. They also said they couldn’t reach me to let me know. Won’t got back.

The room was clean and very nice. Lots of fresh towels and supplies. Bed was a bit hard for our taste but everything else was perfect. Breakfast was great. Lots of choices from eggs to waffles and juices and fruits. Would use Hampton Inn always.
