What guests think

At Four Points by Sheraton Windsor Downtown, guests consistently praise very clean, modern rooms, comfortable beds, and friendly staff, plus a central location near the US tunnel, Caesars, the riverfront, and many walkable restaurants and bars.

Frequent drawbacks are tight, limited or off‑site parking with extra fees, and significant downtown noise on weekends; the hotel supplies earplugs and elevator or hallway proximity can add to disturbances. Rooms range from small to spacious and feel modern and comfortable, but a few guests reported minor maintenance issues, unsecured or spotty Wi‑Fi, and limited in‑room amenities such as fridges in some categories. The on‑site restaurant and bar draw regular praise for convenience and food quality, though occasional understaffing, pricing, and breakfast card limits are noted. Expect a modern, convenient downtown stay with good dining and notable noise and parking trade‑offs.

Amazing experience, the room was clean and comfortable, the service was kind and fast, the prices were reasonable and the restaurant on-site was heads and shoulders above most hotel restaurants. Delicious dinner, great beer selection, and the breakfast was delicious. Good proximity to the casino, as well ($8 CAD).

Four Points Downtown Windsor is an "OK" hotel. Windsor is a gritty city, so keep that in mind. The rooms are very nice, clean and updated. It's a noisy hotel, both street noise and also all the 19 year olds that come from the states to party and drink on the weekends. If possible, ask for a room that overlooks the border crossing rather than the street. It will be much quieter. The gym is pretty good, lots of free weights which I love...only one bike though. Parking is tight and limited, but we always found a spot. The restaurant/bar was understaffed which is too bad. Our group, plus others, just waiting around to be served. The servers did their best, the manager seemed to be very unorganized and flustered. The biggest positive I would say (if this is important) is proximity to the tunnel. It literally takes two minutes to get from the hotel to the crossing. That was perfect for us.

Multiple bars and restaurants within walking distance. Good food in hotel restaurant. Specious rooms. Some noise from the outside, but that’s what you get when hotel is located in the city. Easy parking for small cars but more difficult for large SUV’s and trucks. Overall I like it and would stay again.

My mother and I had a girls weekend. We had a wonderful time. The staff; from the front desk to housekeeping were friendly, professional and helpful. I am in LOVE with the bedding. The room was clean and comfortable. I saw other complaints about parking. We had no issues parking. I am grateful to have a small car which made navigating the parking area easier. For the baseball team that was there...shame on you for leaving a mess of beer cans and cigarette butts in the pool patio area. Do better.

Generally, the cleanliness was good, there were some spots on the laminate floor when I checked in, and there was a long hair that appeared in the tub when I took a shower (I have very short hair myself). I spilled some water on the floor and when I wiped it up with a white facecloth, the facecloth stayed looking white and clean, so overall the floor was very clean.

Exceptionally clean room and bathroom. Not many times that I was satisfied with the cleanliness of Canadian hotel rooms. The room was pretty small; definitely smaller than average for a double Queen's. Breakfast should be included in the price, but wasn't. The area is pretty loud, but we knew that before booking and the hotel supplies earplugs for free (in case you need them). Positive feedback is given mostly for the clean appearance and well-maintained condition of the entire property.

I recently stayed at this hotel and I can confidently say it was a 5-star experience all the way — especially for the cost. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortably appointed with all the standard amenities you’d expect from a top-tier property. What truly set the stay apart, though, was the staff. From check-in to check-out, every interaction was warm, professional, and attentive. They went out of their way to ensure every need was met promptly and with a smile. If you’re looking for a well-maintained, comfortable hotel with excellent service, this is a fantastic choice. I’ll definitely be returning.

The fridge we found out the next morning did NOT keep our water and pop cold. Found the towels a little too ruff but thete was plenty. I LOVED the shower. Thank you for having a walk in shower. She noted that I had requested a robe and that it was not in my room- arranged for immediate delivery. She pointed out the bar and gril which I visited twice during my stay. It was a bit pricey but the friendly bar staff went above and beyond the call of duty to make my experiences more than worth the money. The only thing I would suggest in the room is a floor lamp behind the very comfortable armchair- it was too dark to sit and read. I would definitely stay here again.

It's the best hotel I've stayed at in Windsor. Very nicely renovated ... safe, clean and very comfortable. An ideal location for the downtown area. Parking is a little tight, but manageable. There are only three small 5 min parking spaces available when you're checking in, so that can sometimes be a little awkward. The Fionns bar & dining is also very good. Overall, a great hotel !

Clean and wonderful staff. Parking was reasonable, my only feedback is with the Breakfast Card. It's silly to limit the choices when the card covers items as high as a $16.95 breakfast (Western Omlet). If it covers items up to $16.95, shouldn't it logically be good for lower cost items as well? Why restrict? I get there is an item that costs $18.95, but why not just charge an extra $2 for that? In other words, let the Breakfast card cover everything on the menu, except the "Hungry Man Breakfast" that requires an extra $2 premium. It clearly bothered me that there were silly restrictions on the Breakfast choices. Other than that... very nice stay.
