We chose the rental based on location, and it was very walkable and the neighborhood was great. However when we arrived, we discovered grass/weeds that were 3 feet high and a notice from the city that the yard was an eyesore problem. Someone did come to mow while were there but still, the yard was pretty bad. As to the house (probably 100 years old or more), it was roomy and beds were comfortable. The house has so much potential, but it needs work. It was an Evolve property management house, and I will avoid those rentals in the future. I have loved all our VRBO rentals in the past except those managed by companies who don't care as much as owners do. On the upside, we were allowed a late checkout which saved us from having to load up our car in a thunderstorm. Thank you Evolve for that.

Everything was “fine”. Not very well maintained, but it did the job. Could have been cleaner and several things needed repair, but it worked for the weekend stay.

The house was nice. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pans for cooking. However the beds were not very comfortable and the yard was completely overgrown. The listing had "outdoor play area" listed and with a toddler I thought that would be great, there was no outdoor play area and the grass was so overgrown and full of weeds that the only thing we could do was play on the porch or walk up and down the block. Parking wasn't too bad we only had to park about a block away 1 night all the other times we were able to park almost directly in front of the house. The check in process was super easy. The house definitely needs some TLC but for the 3 nights we were there it worked for us very well

The house is in a beautiful, safe and historic neighorhood. It is clean and seating is comfy and plentiful and the big dining table was appreciated. The only shower in the house is an old clawfoot tub converted to a shower, so the showering experience leaves a bit to be desired. We were also unable to get the TV to work, but if you have a streaming subscription that should work.
