At The Douglas Suite w/ Hot Tub - near White Rock, guests commend spotless comfort, a quiet neighborhood, and friendly, responsive hosts, with many enjoying the well-equipped kitchen and hot tub after days exploring nearby beaches, parks, and the border.
The suite is a basement/lower unit that several guests found cozy and well equipped, though a couple noted it is not very large and occasional footsteps can be heard from above. The location works well for White Rock, beaches, and the US border, but a few travelers found it farther from Vancouver than expected. Overall, expect a well-run, family-friendly base with practical touches.

Stayed at the Douglas and I couldn’t have found a more perfect and inviting place to stay. I especially appreciated the reading material in the suite. The only obstacle was the parking on my last night. I think the neighbour came home from the weekend and the only spots were way further down the road. Otherwise I loved my stay.

It was such a treat to stay here, especially after camping for a few days on our travels. We came as a family of 5 with 3 kids. This suite was beyond clean and everything was so thought out. The beds were comfortable, the shower had amazing pressure, the kitchen was functional and had everything we needed and the living space was cozy and comfortable. There were 2 playgrounds on the block which was great for our kids...they also loved the hotub(it could have been a bit hotter for the parents, but it was still great)! White rock beach is only an 8 minute drive away. Suzanne was an excellent communicator. We will definitely be back if we are in the area. We really enjoyed our stay here.

The accommodation was very clean and cozy. It is set up well for a short or long stay. Unfortunately, we didn't have a chance to use the hot tub, but if you have the time, it is a great bonus. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful. Overall, a very nice experience.

Property was enough space for us and my two teenagers, the hot tub proved to be a nice spot after a long day. Its for sure a great place if you plan to be gone all day. Neighborhood is quiet and safe enough to let my daughter have a stroll on her own to explore. The only downside is you are in a lower apartment so you can hear the people above you while they walk. Other than that, clean, comfy and straight forward instructions. We had a good stay :)

The property was in a very nice and clean location. Our teenage sons enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings and the beautiful golf course which was only a 2 min drive away. The stay itself was comfortable and the perfect size for the 4 of us. It had everything we needed and was quiet considering it was a basement suite. We had one vehicle (truck) and the parking space on the street infront of the house was perfect.

The house is well located and is quite near from the peace arch historical state park but unfortunately, it is closed due to COVID-19. It is only 10 minutes drive from white rock beach, so location is perfect. The suite is a basement of a single house. I thought it was an independent condo but I misunderstood. It is good for family but it is not big enough for 6 person. 5 is ok. It is a good choice for accommodation on vacation.

Property was located in a new neighbourhood, near the US border, and about 5mins away from White Rock. Was excellent for a visit over to the beach and ocean. Also set us up for some quick planned events into Surrey. The suite was clean, and well thought out. Much better than staying in a hotel! Host was great to deal with as well. We would definitely book again.

It was such a treat to stay here, especially after camping for a few days on our travels. We came as a family of 5 with 3 kids. This suite was beyond clean and everything was so thought out.
