This rental was top notch. Fresh muffins left for our breakfast, as well as every possible kitchen utensil, including seafood tools for the lobster we bought. East Coast Glow soaps for your use provided as well as toiletries you may have forgotten. The electric fireplace and throw blankets really added a cozy touch to the living room on the cool rainy days we experienced when we were there. The decorating made this rental very homelike and charming.

Spent 2 wonderful nights in Lisa and Scott’s island oasis! Had been in our camper van for 10 days and needed an escape! Unit had everything we needed ie shower/laundry/World Series on TV! and so much more. Lisa was great to deal with and replied promptly to any questions we had during our stay. Seamus our 2 year old lab raved about the doggie jar full of milk bones! Hopefully can return some day soon Go Jays

The cottage was more than we expected. Clean, bright Lisa puts all the little things that you can imagine to make your stay feel very welcome. She was at her house when we arrived made sure we had everything we needed.Plenty of extra towels and bedding. There was plenty of coffee, tea pods cream in the fridge, as they had a fire pit there was smore’s kits,the homemade blueberry muffins and butter on the side was great.a basket with cereal, hot chocolate popcorn for a cosy nite, Our dog Annie wasn’t left out either. 2 bowls, a roll of poopy bags in case you run out a canister of dog bones. She had walking sticks, umbrellas. My husband said the best part was the fresh cold her partner had just caught. All her soaps and nessesities were locally made as she supports her community. There was amazing local Art thru out the home. The ice cream place leading up to the light house that she recommended was the best as was their food. We found her very friendly and helpful. After I left I notice I had left my shawl there we sent a message she said there was a few things I left and would mail to me. I would rate this stay 10 out of 10.

Had an amazing stay! Loved the place! Immaculate, extremely clean, the house was stocked with everything you need. They thought of everything, I was very impressed with the decor and the beds were very comfortable. The back yard fire pit area is so nice, and perfect for watching the sun set! Loved getting to hang with the dogs for a while, they are so sweet. There is literally too much to mention, even everything for your puppers! Whenever I come to Bonavista I will definitely be booking this place again. 10/10 thank you for making my visit that much more great. Can’t wait to be back!

This suite has all the amenities and more like a s’mores station, coffee, hot chocolate and popcorn for guests to enjoy. They have extras like toothbrushes etc as well as lovely personal care products in the bathroom for guests to use. The suite is nicely decorated as well with a fully stocked kitchen. It is conveniently located in the town of Bonavista and is just a short drive from the attractions one might visit while staying there. It was a peaceful stay and I would highly recommend this spot to anyone.

Very well maintained, updated 2-bedroom apartment with private access and your own parking. Nice landscaping and outdoor seating, immaculate everywhere, spacious kitchen with bonus S'More station and other treats. We were able to do laundry and cooked our meals in with everything we needed.

Cape View Escape was a wonderful place to stay in Bonavista! Newly renovated, extremely clean with all the comforts of home! Lisa and Scott went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable…they thought of everything!! My favourite touch was the freshly baked blueberry muffins for the family and a lovely hand written note to welcome us!! I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again!! It definitely was a five star experience!!

Super cozy cottage, well equipped and spacious. Lisa and Scott (I guess it was Lisa 😉) have furnished and decorated the cottage with much love and a great eye for detail. Everything was like brand new. High quality dishes, cooking pans & dishes. Beds were comfortable with firm mattress. Although our host was next store we did not see them or their dogs. House & neighborhood were quiet.

The owners were "over the top" with their welcoming and supportive communications. The kitchen was well stocked, with everything you might need or have forgotten. The living spaces were comfortably furnished. Plenty of towels and toiletries. Bathroom is small but functional. We enjoyed our time in the area and visiting with the owners. As with previous reviews we loved this property. Lisa quickly responded to my inquiries. There was a great attention to detail everywhere. Works of local artists showcased throughout the cottage prompted us to contact one of the artists. Her local guide is so helpful

This property is exceptionally good. Pictures are accurate and there are so many special touches from the decor to the quality of the locally sourced soaps and lotions. Lisa and Scott were very welcoming and the bowl of fruit and muffins waiting for my arrival appreciated. Communication excellent, especially when a snow storm struck and they checked to see when I needed to get out in the morning. By 0730 the path and driveway were cleared. Big screen TV with Netflix was nice when cozied up to the gas fireplace on a winter night. In every way this is an exceptionally good property and I would highly recommend.

Pretty darn awesome. Check in was a breeze so we didn't have to spend time figuring anything out. There was some lovely personalized notes and a wonderfully delicious welcome gift. Everything was clean and organized and beautifully decorated. It was a shame we were only staying one night. What made it so great were the small thoughtful touches from the smores station to the knitted slippers available to use in the house. A wonderful experience. Many thanks!

Everything was clean and organized and beautifully decorated. It was a shame we were only staying one night. What made it so great were the small thoughtful touches from the smores station to the knitted slippers available to use in the house. A wonderful experience. Many thanks!

They have extras like toothbrushes etc as well as lovely personal care products in the bathroom for guests to use. The suite is nicely decorated as well with a fully stocked kitchen. It is conveniently located in the town of Bonavista and is just a short drive from the attractions one might visit while staying there. It was a peaceful stay and I would highly recommend this spot to anyone.

Everything was like brand new. High quality dishes, cooking pans & dishes. Beds were comfortable with firm mattress. Although our host was next store we did not see them or their dogs. House & neighborhood were quiet.

This rental was top notch. Fresh muffins left for our breakfast, as well as every possible kitchen utensil, including seafood tools for the lobster we bought. East Coast Glow soaps for your use provided as well as toiletries you may have forgotten. The electric fireplace and throw blankets really added a cozy touch to the living room on the cool rainy days we experienced when we were there. The decorating made this rental very homelike and charming.

The properties kitchen was well equipped and had a few standard cooking non-perishables. The entire space nicely decorated, it was comfortable (excellent choice in blankets) and cozy. The welcome muffins were delicious (might I suggest a recipe card to go with them, yummy). I hope to stay again here soon!

The cottage was more than we expected. Clean, bright Lisa puts all the little things that you can imagine to make your stay feel very welcome. She was at her house when we arrived made sure we had everything we needed.Plenty of extra towels and bedding. There was plenty of coffee, tea pods cream in the fridge, as they had a fire pit there was smore’s kits,the homemade blueberry muffins and butter on the side was great.a basket with cereal, hot chocolate popcorn for a cosy nite, Our dog Annie wasn’t left out either. 2 bowls, a roll of poopy bags in case you run out a canister of dog bones. She had walking sticks, umbrellas. My husband said the best part was the fresh cold her partner had just caught. All her soaps and nessesities were locally made as she supports her community. There was amazing local Art thru out the home. The ice cream place leading up to the light house that she recommended was the best as was their food. We found her very friendly and helpful. After I left I notice I had left my shawl there we sent a message she said there was a few things I left and would mail to me. I would rate this stay 10 out of 10.
