1. Worst wifi signal in Istanbul. For three days I couldn’t do any work using wifi. So I had to buy data for my phone. The reception guy tried to convince me it’s like this slow in the entire area. That is not true. I stayed previous two weeks at two other hotels in the same area and wifi was fast. 2. When I came back to my room at 11 pm to sleep, my bed was covered with hair, duvet cover was stained, pillows smelly. They sent this big guy to change the sheets and he was struggling as if he never changed sheets. First brought the wrong size bed sheet but don’t bring pillow cover and duvet cover. He took my pillows with him brought the same pillow back and didn’t change the duvet cover. Whole process took him over an hour. Later I used towels on the pillow to sleep. I couldn’t sleep until 2 am. 3. A/c and heat is centrally controlled. No air conditioning in the room. They had heat setting at 24 degrees. Room was too hot to sleep. 4. Hand held shower head base was leaking bad. I went to wash my foot and it sprayed water all over me. My clothes were wet. 5. Valet guy took me to my room and refused to leave until I paid him tips. He again insisted I pay him tips when I was leaving. He was brutal. 5. Upon checking in, they didn’t give my passport's back. I was running for a meeting and I needed my passport back. Halfway to my destination I realized I don’t have my passport. I had to cancel my appointment and it ruined my entire day. It costed me a lot. Way too many issues.

Nice hotel, walking distance from Hagia Sophia, Blue mask, Grand Bazaare, and restaurants. Foam bath in the soa was amazing. The front desk also arranged cabs and booked un on a boat tour. FYI, cabs and Uber are the same thing in Turkey, meaning you call an uber, a cab shows up and you still have to pay cash rather than through the app. The front desk guy is really a great concierge...

This place is beyond average. To avoid dealing with a property lacking amenities, book a hotel. It had no proper TV channels, and the Wi-Fi was shaky. The towels and other stuff were also old. The best thing about this place is its location.

My stay at Antusa Design Hotel & Spa hotel was a positive experience, primarily due to its excellent location and amenities. The hotel is centrally located, with major attractions like the Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Topkapı Palace, The Blue Mosque within easy walking distance. Our room provided an impressive view of the Hagia Sophia. The rooftop restaurant offered panoramic views of the old city and the sea during breakfast. A decent breakfast was included. I especially enjoyed being able to order a superb Turkish coffee, which was the perfect way to get energized in the morning. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful. The spa center was a significant plus. It featured a traditional Turkish bath and offered a massage, which was excellent and came with a 20% discount for hotel guests. It was a great way to relax after a long day of walking. The only minor drawback was that the hotel is not brand new. You could see some wear-and-tear in certain areas, which showed its age. However, this was a small detail that didn't detract from our overall positive experience.

I loved the spa

What was unique about this property is that everything was right for me.I liked my room, clean and comfortable. The terrace and restaurant are excellent. The staff was very polite and nice. The spa was very good. And I liked that they applied discount without me asking about it. If I needed taxi, they would find me taxi right away, if I needed water, they would bring it immediately. It was a very pleasant stay for me. If I will be in Istanbul again, I will choose this hotel.

I cannot say more than great this about Antusa Hotel , the workers were very nice and helpful . They spoke English which is great and even if they did not understand they went the extra mile to help. We wanted to stay again for our second part of our trip but no more rooms available but they still held on to our luggage so we can go to another city and explore. I will definitely stay again next time I come to Turkey . My entire family loved it. The spa was also a great relaxing experience.

We cannot speak highly enough about this amazing hotel! The location is absolutely perfect for exploring the city's top attractions on foot or via public transportation. Our room was consistently immaculate thanks to the attentive and helpful housekeeping staff. The amenities are ideal for a relaxing vacation - the spa in particular is a true oasis. I treated myself to the VIP package and it was an incredibly healing, rejuvenating experience that I would wholeheartedly recommend. However, what truly made our stay feel like home were our wonderful breakfast servers Hasan, Yusuf and Revan. This fantastic team brought bright smiles, warm hospitality and impeccable service to each of our mornings. We will forever associate their exceptional care with our cherished memories of Istanbul. From the prime location to the pampering spa to the world-class service team, this hotel exceeded our expectations at every turn. We are already dreaming about our next visit! Thank you for a truly unforgettable experience.

Situé au cœur du vieux Istanbul, nous avons passé 3 nuits très agréables dans un hôtel accueillant, propre et pratique. Nous allons garder un très bon souvenir du Spa de l’hôtel, autant au niveau de la qualité des soins que de l’amabilité de l’équipe.

Localização excelente. Funcionários cordiais e solícitos. A vista do café da manhã é ótima. O título de Design Hotel parece um pouco exagerado. O banheiro do quarto é pequeno e mal iluminado. Um cheiro vinha do ralo com certa frequência e os funcionários, apesar de muito dedicados, nem sempre coneseguiram resolver isso.

It was not very clean. The bedding was stained on the queen size bed, the twin bed had a dark red stains on one of the sheets it was gross , and it smells heavy of smoke. If you are a non-smoker this is definitely not the hotel for you.

Clean room, breakfast was great and staff was exceptionally helpful

The location is super convenient and the rooms are spacious and clean. HOWEVER, we had a massive issue with sewage smell coming from the bathroom. I believe they tried to fix it as it was better (not gone by any means) after they sent a technician in but it really interfered with our enjoyment of the room. Think making

The property did not match with the pictures offered in Expedia, the place is very old and toilet smells bad.

Staff are very friendly and welcoming, but the rooms and washroom smell and are dirty. Once we got the room it was not cleaned properly, the washroom sink was dirty and had black stains from previous guests, the table inside the room had a mark and a stain of makeup product, and lots of finger prints on the glass from previous guests. Besides everything that was stated, the staff was very welcoming and friendly.

Rummet var alltid välstädat. Personalen är väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam. På frukosten finns väldigt mycket att välja på, och servicen är förstklassig.

立地最高。徒歩圏内にアヤソフィア、ブルーモスクがあります。周辺に飲食店も多く賑わっていました。目の前のお土産屋さんは全て値札がついていて、ぼったくられる心配のないところだったので良かったです。宿泊プランは朝食付でしたが、品数も多く、トルコらしい食材もあり良かったです。景色もよく、毎朝楽しみにしていました。 部屋については広さは良かったのですが、お風呂の排水がものすごく臭かったのと、上の階？の水音らしき音がしょっちゅう聞こえてよく眠れなかったので星マイナスです。部屋のライトも一部点滅していて、ポーターに言っても変えてくれませんでした。そのため、電気半分のやや暗い部屋で過ごすことになり、残念でした。

Great location, nice staff and great breakfast. Rooms are clean and spacious, but some of the bed sheets were old and had holes.

Great location, wonderful buffet breakfast, friendly staff. I was in room 102, a single room. Unfortunately, the bathroom smelled like a sewer. No way to mitigate the smell. I left the fan running all night and anytime I was in the room. Problem was exacerbated by the cleaning lady leaving the bathroom door open, so the smell diffused into the room itself. Overall, the property could do with a renovation.

Avoid room 111. It has a tiny patio but the only daylight for the room and patio comes from a hole in the pavement above the patio. As it’s on a hill the room is actually underground despite being in the first floor! Very dark and dingy. Weird experience

The staff at the front were amazing! Very professional and friendly! The hotel room for a family of 5 was exceptional. I would give this hotel 5 stars as our stay was perfect!

Die Lage ist sensationell. Das Personal ist supernett. Gerade Hasan vom Frühstück ist sehr zuvorkommend. Das Restaurant für abends auch sehr lecker mit super Blick. Wir hatten das Standardzimmer, sehr schlecht.Ausblick auf eine Baustelle, das Wasser lief nicht ab. Warmwasser war “braun” vermutlich rostig. Bettdecke sehr klein, enorme Geräuschkulisse aus dem Gang.

We stayed in the family room and it was spacious and clean. Exceptional customer service and delicious buffet breakfast. Location of the hotel was perfect, we would definitely return to this hotel if we come back to Istanbul.

Great hotel and staff but the shower water kept changing from hot to cold constantly. Something is wrong with the water heater.

Staff was very lovely, location was great for site seeing, very walkable. Breakfast and overall service was great! A bit loud in evening/early morn as doors are heavy and they slam. Also, as a nonsmoker, my room was ok, but others smoking in hotel could be smelled in my room/halls. I appreciated that during holidays, this hotel had a Christmas tree up(rare) signaling inclusion for multi-culture

Hotel was adequate for us. The room was a bit small but the comfortable king sized bed made up for the lack of space. Our room had a window that overlooked the air shaft, ie no view. And the walls were pretty thin so I could hear other guests yelling. The view at breakfast was of The Hagia Sophia so that was a nice perk. The staff was helpful and the location of hotel was super convenient to all the attractions in the Sultanhamet area. The only minor annoyance was the strong scent that they have in the lobby—it was overwhelming and gave me a headache.

The property was decent. No major complaints. It didn't blow me away, but the location was great and the view at breakfast was nice. The rooms didn't have bed covers for some reason. When requested, we were given some twin sized ones for a king size bed. When we arrived, we had to wait almost an extra hour for the shuttle to arrive. I would have expected a discount on the shuttle rate or something after that. The hotel itself is small and fairly average. The location was very convenient.

The location was close to Grand Bazaar and restaurants, that was helpful. The greedy staff overcharged me, I booked a room at $90 for two adults and one child, then found a family room for $120 , so I rebooked. They said when I rebooked it registered only one person and charged me $150. The bedsheets were not clean (had hair all over), when asked for new blanket, they removed from next door and left me to put the blanket and its cover myself. Their taxi drove us back to airport intentionally very slowly, because we got delayed in repacking bags by 30min beyond schedule. In spite of repeated requests the driver (talked to hotel over phone) and drove us very slowly, even when there was no traffic. Did not help with baggage, because when we arrived I tipped the staff lesser unknowingly. He said ‘less money’ and did not help load bags on departure. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS UNFRIENDLY HOTEL TO ANYONE.

The property is close to everything, very walkable. Breakfast buffet was great. Cleaning was done everyday. The shower was clogged and overflowed until we unclogged it. Maintenance should probably be done more often. The staff at restaurant amazing, front desk amazing except on our last day. My son's airpods were stolen from his bag. The front desk just kept telling me to go to the address on Find My after I told him we already went there. That was all he offered and looked annoyed that we even brought this up to him. Unfortunately that experience soured our trip.

It was an amazing stay! I very much enjoyed it. The staff was so friendly and went above and beyond to help with every single issue we had (we were in Istanbul for the first time and had a lot of questions, including various tours). Following their recommendations and great help, we have accomplished more than we had hoped!

I was dissappointed on the hotel transfer. when we arrived at the airport, despite us having a private transfer booked, we were made to wait with everyone else and once everyone was there, then we were taken to our private taxi, which did waste about 20 minutes of our time. Also when going back to the airport on our last day, I spoke to the reception and booked 5pm as transfer hours in advance. When it reached 5pm, I went to the reception to check where the transfer was, his reaction was like he had forgotten to book it. Then the transfer ended up arriving at 5:20pm which made us late to the airport and we didnt have time to eat before our slight considering my wife was pregnant. So overall our stay was really nice, just the breakfast food needs improvement and also the hotel transfer needs to be organised better as it can cause delays and then endup ruining the entire holiday. That's all.

Food in the restaurant is excellent. Rooms are quaint and nice. Overall a nice hotel in the Sultanahmet and walking distance to all the major sites in the area.

Nice service and great location

Fantastic hotel, location perfect. Really close to all the Sultanahmet sights, just a couple of minutes, a tram stop 3 mins walk away, and it's the most useful tram line for tourists. The staff are lovely, especially at breakfast. Breakfast is s delight, lots of choice, fabulous bread, bakery, cheeses, salad produce, and loads more, something for everyone, and more. The restaurant, where breakfast happens, has fantastic views of everything you will be going to visit. Room was nice and clean, nice big shower,and plenty of storage, even for me. Highly recommend.

I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. It is very close to major historical attractions such as the Hagia Sophia. In fact, I had breakfast at the top floor with a gorgeous view on the dome. The room was clean and the area was very quiet during the night. Plenty of local restaurants offer great options for dining. The staff was friendly and helpful when I asked questions about transportation. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel. Keep in mind that there are at least two Antusa hotels in the area. So, when you search for it in Google maps or some other platform, make sure to search for Antusa DESIGN. And if you accidentally make it to the other location, which is nearby, they will help direct you to the right place.

The location is in a very popular area and may be hard to reach at times however public transportation and the hotel have the best options of coming in and out of the locations. Best to use Uber for taxi transport or take public transportation.

Its conveniently located to some of the main attractions, but the area is too over crowded.

Location to the major Istanbul landmarks is what makes this hotel very likable plus the breakfast buffet at the top floor with the Hagia Sophia mosque in the background to add! The Basilica Cistern is just down the street. The Blue Mosque is about a 10 minute walk. The Grand Bazaar is about 15-20 minutes away by foot. The staff was very accomodating knowing this was our first stay in Turkey. They pointed out the places to visit, restaurants to try, shops to visit etc. Rooms are a bit small but clean. No musty mildew odour and seemed to be maintained. Will be staying here next time when we come back!

We had a great stay at this hotel. Clean, great breakfast with the view of Hagia Sofia and close to everything that we wanted to see. All the people were great to us from the waiter to the hotel manager Hamdullah Barman! Thank you so much for making us feel welcomed and helping us enjoy beautiful Istanbul! 🙏

Food at the restaurant is expensive and some staff was rude. Wifi was limited so it was not possible to use youtube. Great location and excellent view.

Hôtel extrêmement bien placé, bon niveau de confort, personnel très attentionné. Le restaurant au dernier étage offre une belle vue sur le Bosphore et Sainte Sophie. Le petit déjeuner buffet offre du choix, et les menus midi ou soir sont très bons.
