Great location! No on-site parking available. Parked overnight at Greek restaurant across the street for $20 US. Pub downstairs was noisy and open until 1am. There was no elevator, so you must be able to maneuver narrow stairs while carrying your luggage.

Old historic building with attached restaurant. Live music and friendly staff. Would stay again. Please note, in their description they are honest and say that music plays until 12:30-1am. It did but they offer ear plugs which definitely helped! Would stay again!

We got a great welcome at the Angel, The pub/hotel is quirky and full of character. The food was really good and the staff couldn’t be nicer. It is a pity that you can’t make a hot drink in your room as there is no morning catering. I would highly recommend this place.

Overall nice stay and location, but you are essentially just paying for the location - very average otherwise and what you are getting from the hotel itself is not reflective of the price. Clean room, small, queen sized bed. Music/bar is very loud in the evening, especially in the sweetheart suite where you’re directly above the band stage. No parking available!!! Only possibility is paid parking, including a lot across the street that rips off patrons. There really needs to be a solution for this. Price is too expensive for the quality and experience you’re getting. Only plus is the convenience of location

The staff was amazing and it was a comfortable stay. No parking on the property, but you can park for free on one of the side streets. Just ask staff where that is and they will guide you. We did not know that there wasn’t housekeeping services, but when you ask they will provide you with anything you need (towels, etc). The food downstairs is excellent and we highly recommend. We sat outside in the patio which was so nice and relaxing. We enjoyed our stay very much and it’s so walkable to everything NOTL has to offer.

No parking available on site. Nearby lot charges way too much. The Sweethearts Room was directly over the bar where the live band plays until past 1am, making it very loud in the room. It was very dark in the room and only a small mirror in the bathroom. Otherwise, extremely clean and the staff was very pleasant. The historical charm and character outweighs anything negative though.

There is a large, crowded and loud bar under the rooms. Dont expect to sleep until about 1 am on a Friday or Saturday when they have live bands. There is a small bowl of free ear plugs for guests when they check in. Not a good look.

Welcoming staff.I would suggest doing wineries after doing checking if theres no parking on site.We found out after checking in we paid 40 for overnight parking across the road at a restaurent.We found out later that after 8 pm to 8am its free in fornt of the inn if theres any available spots.

This building is very old, but well kept. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean, as was the bathroom. It is in the old shopping area of town so it is convenient for that. There is no onsite parking, so patrons must park on a residential street a couple of blocks away where street parking is free.

The building is beautiful and holds onto the history well. We have eaten here on a few occasions, but this was our first stay. The rooms are dated, small TV, older bathroom - however, it was worth it for the authenticity of the building. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was clean. There was an air conditioner in our room, which was nice. A wonderful location right on the main street near many restaurants and shops. Also right down the street from the view of the river. Everyone was lovely and accommodating. No sign of the ghost though, drat!

Fun to stay in a haunted inn! Comfortable bed. Close to everything. Food at the pub was fabulous. Staff was really great. The lock on the door was not good. The bathroom was pretty clean, but the grout could use a good cleaning. It’s an old place, but those two things should be addressed.

This property advertises itself as the oldest inn in Ontario and the pub/ restaurant as the best pub food in Canada. We expected a charming old historic building meeting the standard in its advertising. The carpet on the stairs is soiled and grimy. Not all of the lights in the room function properly. We stayed for 2 nights and the room was not freshened/cleaned after the first night. Our room was over the pub, On the second night a rock band played very loud music from around 8 pm to midnight. After that, noisy drunken people hooted and hollered outside our window for at least half an hour after the band quit.My wife and I needed to leave promptly in the morning so we had little sleep. There was no-one on the front desk to complain to. I now know why we had to pay the full bill on our arrival. I will never frequent this dump again-Ted Smith Mississauga

Great central location and exactly as advertised, given the age and history of the Inn. The live music in the pub is absolutely the best draw; lively and fun. The room itself was clean and well appointed. The shower was not great; between the water turning hot and cold continuously and considerably leaking onto the bathroom floor, it wasn’t a pleasant experience. That being said, overall, would definitely recommend for a central location if you intend to stay in NOTL. Make sure you check out the pub!

The room was ok. Old by tidy. The bathroom is in a hallway that connects bedroom and a small living room.the shower was uncomfortably small and water was extremely hot after it took awhile to warm up. I would not recommend the colonel room.

Honestly, our stay was a bit disappointing. The rooms are incredibly small, the air conditioner is so noisy that we decided to open the windows instead, but had to prop them open with a garbage can because they kept closing. Overall things just feel a bit tired and old.However, the staff were very friendly, and the pub is a blast.

We love these rooms, as they are so quaint with historical items. My sister and I shared the General's Quarters which had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with a living room area. Everything was very clean. We could hear music and voices from the dining room, but we were aware of that before booking. It was within walking distance of many shops and restaurants, and only 15 minutes walk to the Festival Theater. Thus, we were able to park our car for 3 days and walk everywhere. The restaurant downstairs has awesone food and all staff are amazing, friendly and helpful.

Very lovely stay at Niagara on the Lake. There was live music on the thursday that we stayed. Our room was the Sweetheart Room. Was very comfortable, fair size and good bathroom. The location was great with lovely locals walks, lots of nearby vineyards and right near the little high street.

The Olde Angel Inn is a fun place to stay if you like accommodations with character. The Governor's Room was big enough for the three of us and has extremely comfortable beds and pillows. The bathroom is a little tight, but totally functional. The location is unbeatable, and the pub has good food and great service. Yes, it gets loud (it's a 200 year old building, so very little insulation), but with the AC going it's possible to ignore it. It's the perfect stay for an adventurous traveler who appreciates history and character.

So much fun! Excellent live band, late night kitchen, great anniversary getaway. Perfect location right in the center of town, walk to everything, great value. Live band is directly below the Sweetheart's Room, which we loved because we are night owls! Cool old haunted building, lots of stairs. Shower is difficult to operate. Prob not the best spot for early birds or those with mobility issues. Perfect for us and we will be back!

Do not stay here. We had to leave at 11:00 pm and book another hotel room. There was so much noise, the room was vibrating and it was like a rock concert was happening in the bedroom. There were no staff working at the desk, and no one answered the phone, so no staff to talk to. Expedia support was also terrible customer service. They were no help and hung up on me when I tried to call.

We got a great welcome at the Angel, The pub/hotel is quirky and full of character. The food was really good and the staff couldn’t be nicer. It is a pity that you can’t make a hot drink in your room as there is no morning catering. I would highly recommend this place.

We enjoyed our stay in a nice little room in this historic inn. Check in was easy, staff were friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. There is a pub on the ground floor, so we expected some noise, as we were advised of at the time of booking, and it was fine. Great food, drink and staff in the pub. We would definitely stay again.

The staff was amazing and it was a comfortable stay. No parking on the property, but you can park for free on one of the side streets. Just ask staff where that is and they will guide you. We did not know that there wasn’t housekeeping services, but when you ask they will provide you with anything you need (towels, etc). The food downstairs is excellent and we highly recommend. We sat outside in the patio which was so nice and relaxing. We enjoyed our stay very much and it’s so walkable to everything NOTL has to offer.

An excellent stay at a historic property. Clean, comfortable room with a great bed in the heart of town was very nice. The staff was present and happy to help when needed, and chill and respectful otherwise. We arrived via bicycle, and the staff was very accommodating in helping us store them securely. Jan and Diane at the front desk were super helpful.

We had a water issue the first night and essentially the pub was closed. That can happen, but no one at the front desk could assist. And no manager could be found. Great Location, clean but they need to be more accessible and responsive for the price they are charging!!

We love these rooms, as they are so quaint with historical items. My sister and I shared the General's Quarters which had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with a living room area. Everything was very clean. We could hear music and voices from the dining room, but we were aware of that before booking. It was within walking distance of many shops and restaurants, and only 15 minutes walk to the Festival Theater. Thus, we were able to park our car for 3 days and walk everywhere. The restaurant downstairs has awesone food and all staff are amazing, friendly and helpful.

The Olde Angel Inn is a fun place to stay if you like accommodations with character. The Governor's Room was big enough for the three of us and has extremely comfortable beds and pillows. The bathroom is a little tight, but totally functional. The location is unbeatable, and the pub has good food and great service. Yes, it gets loud (it's a 200 year old building, so very little insulation), but with the AC going it's possible to ignore it. It's the perfect stay for an adventurous traveler who appreciates history and character.

Stayed for one night, during the Niagara on the lake peach festival. Very cute room, comfortable bed. Weekends they do have a live band, so it gets loud in the room, but we didn’t because we were at the bar the whole time.. fun crowd, good drinks, and good food. I would recommend staying there.

The room was clean and comfortable. The food at the pub was tasty with large servings. All was reasonably priced. They have a live band in the pub and if you’re early to bed, this may not be for you, you definitely can hear them. The hotel did warn us about this though right after we booked, so we were prepared and actually enjoyed the music, but it may not be for everyone.

Short stay and had to leave a day earlier than planned due to accident whic h meant return to Toronto to access hospital care. We only ate once in pub, nice atmosphere. Typical pub menu, but little choice for more healthy options. Staff very helpful.

This is an excellent choice if you want to stay in a part of history in an excellent location. The rooms are unique and well decorated. No parking on site but tips are given at check in on where you can park for free or there is metered parking outside, which we chose. Food in the pub is recommended, staff friendly and overall a great spot to hang out. Not recommended on a busy night if you want an early night, but I would recommended soaking up the atmosphere.

The staff is incredible, accommodating and so helpful! Dani was THE BEST! It’s an old historic inn with all the quirks and charm. Not ADA so skip if you can’t do stairs. Great restaurant and bar downstairs. Able to walk to almost everything we wanted to do. You can hear the bar downstairs but they have ear plugs and sound machines. We just embraced it and joined them!
