Ideally located for the visit. Friendly staff, very have accommodating. Dining was enjoyable, very good meals and service, Building is old but well maintained. External noise (other rooms, walkways etc) was a bit of a distraction . Room was comfortable but did not have a coat rack. TV was difficult to operate (two controls).

Property original areabuilt in 1750. A lot of history there .Many members of my family have spent time and enjoyed family meals and get togethers here over the years. It has new ownersand it is wonderful to see how they are growing and doing.so much more than when we were there a year ago. We will definitely be back . The reataurant was great The only problem is no elevstor but they are so obliging and helpful and helped us. Thank you.

Easy parking. Central to downtown. Lovely lawn overlooking the Bay. Nice restaurant. But don't stay in the side building, with only outside stairs to walk up with luggage. The rooms are NOTHING like those pictured. More like a 1 star hotel/motel. Run down, old spring mattress. Pillows too high. Very dark room. Mold in bathroom around the bath. But awesome water pressure. Broken toilet. Ask to stay in the main building, where I assume those pictures are from. Should have realized with the low price, you get what you pay for.

Small older hotel. Area was on the inlet with the fishing ships nearby. Easy walking area to restaurants. Beautiful sunrise and sunset. For an older hotel it was good. Could use a bit of an update. Stairs outside to the upper level. Restaurant on site but we chose to go to a local restaurant. Quiet area.

The room was cute however it was filthy, the coffe pot had an old coffee pod in it and the base was gross, the floors were so dirty that you made the sheets dirty when you got into bed, the tile backsplash was covered with toothpaste spray and the sheets had what appeared to be a poop stain on them which we didn’t notice until after we slept in them. We let them know when we left and no one really cared, so I’d suggest somewhere else if you can😉

I wouldn’t recommend a stay here. The first room I was offered had a 2 foot long spread of black mould on the bathroom wall and ceiling. The second room was in better condition, but the mattress was definitely older than me. I wish the duvet insert had a cover on it or at least a sheet on top of it, as many hotels now do. Only one lamp worked so the room was very dark. The place looks cute and historic in photos, but feels grimy and run down. There is a nice outdoor area that looks out onto the water. I spent a lot of time here avoiding my room.

Lovely, quaint old Inn. The main floor and dining room were lovely. Our room was clean but wallpaper was peeling in a few places and the tub/shower area could have been cleaned a lot better. The rest of the bathroom was clean. Decor dated but decent. If a few basic repairs were made it would make a huge difference to the room.

It’s not a bad place and good location. Food in Restaurant is good. Beds are not comfortable and wifi is basically non-existent. Lots of hot water in shower. It’s 1960’s which is not all bad.

Check in was quick. Walking distance to restaurants (I wouldn't recommend The Golden Pond) Its an old building so certain things are inevitable like squeaky floors. Hope there was no one below us. The king room was large but weirdly laid out. Desk and fridge/microwave at the end of the bed where the TV normally would be. TV was on the side wall making for a sore neck watching from the bed....The sofa was all the way on the other side of the room, nowhere besr the TV. Bathroom was kind of outdated, dead fly on the floor, used washcloth hanging over the shower curtain rod. The handle for turning water on and off in the shower was quite loose but the pressure was fine. It was the cheapest place but not sure if we'd stay there again.

The property needs a serious upgrade. TV service did not work at all. Internet was available 20% of the time. Just little details were missed. Room had ac, it worked. Shower was great .

Room was a good size. Location against the river was great. Quick walk to town and restaurant was attached to accommodations which was a bonus. Bed was very soft to our liking but it was a one night and gone so our only first world problem.

Availability of the staff was difficult, on arrival we waited quite long before someone came, at first we were okay with that, people are busy with other hotel tasks. A little later I went down with a question and could hear the staff behind reception, I rang the desk bell (which was lounge) waited and still no one then I called out Hello and nothing. The next morning it says office opens at 10 at 10:45 door closed and no one around, there was actually a backup of two people waiting to check in and asked where the office was and we to.d them that is it.

Poor rooms, minimal staff available to take care of the place. Can't find front desk staff when you need them. WiFi almost non existent. Breakfast only available on weekends. Updated rooms are fine, but not all rooms have been updated. Restaurant is the only saving grace for this establishment.

The Inn is old and needs lots of upgrades. The staff is not available at many times. I had to go to the desk three times to get a staff member to check in. They seem very uninterested in giving service. Not sure if that is because I used your booking service . Would not recommend this Inn to anyone.

We were only there for a quick 1 night stay. We got there in the dark and left early the next day. It was sufficient for that.The owner of the house was very nice and friendly but we really only saw him quickly when we checked in.

This property used to be lovely and quaint pre covid it’s obviously been taken over. The restaurant food was great but my god one poor waitress ,a senior, was serving 20 plus tables. She told us she had to ask management for help so some middle Eastern folk helped serve. We sat for 45 minutes from the end of the meal for our bill. Same poor lady brought it Next morning we went for breakfast and we waited 15 minutes and it was ver obvious the breakfast was not happening Do not book here

A very comfortable and convenient stopover for us. Excellent room and a welcoming reception. Waitress in restaurant was abrupt and tried to rush us when ordering meal. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. No breakfast available.

The room itself was fantastic for the price, the property had clear signage of where to go for what and the staff were wonderful. We ate both dinner and breakfast at the property and that’s where there were issues. The food was really terrible. (The breakfast especially. The dinner options were fine, it was convenient but the actual food wasn’t anything to rave about.) The breakfast had so many issues with both dishes we unanimously decided to just never eat there again and move on with our day. I would stay at the property again, for a work trip it offered spacious accommodation and was nearby to what we needed. But I would avoid the restaurant completely.
