Booked this hotel at the last Minute, needed a pet friendly hotel and the price was kind of high but I was tired. I had stayed for long times at townplace suites before. This time I got charged some crazy pet fee, I’m pretty sure it was like 150.00 and at that point I had no choice but to stay there. I don’t care if it was potentially in the fine print, that’s a ridiculous charge.

Everything was amazing 👏. The crew was very nice and friendly. We also loved the breakfast. They have a large number of spots on the parking. The pool was cold unfortunately and there was a old sock in my room. The elevator was a little bit sticky.

The property was okay. There was leftover food in my refrigerator when I arrived and the soap dispenser in the shower was completely empty. Luckily I travel with my squeeze bottle soap. Lastly the shower head looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in a while. I paid for my room on line and gave my credit card for incidentals when I arrived and received a charge on my credit card for a $3 parking fee that I was never told about.

We love this property and will likely be back again soon. HOWEVER on 2 separate occasions for our room and my in-laws whose rooms we booked - We were told that because we booked through Expedia "a third party" that our rooms may be cancelled or our check-in may be delayed "for regular" guests to complete their check-in. In the end we had wonderful stay and were treated well but this threat of losing our reservation because we booked with Expedia was unnerving and disappointing.

The building and rooms were nice, but the staff (not including housekeeping) didn't match that quality. I've worked in hotels before, so I know how the check-in process should go... the person who checked me in was not friendly and did not give me any information about my stay. I never ate the breakfast because it was so generic and unappealing. I wouldn't stay here again - it wasn't worth the price I paid.

I like that the property is well kept and that it sits up on the hill. The only thing I didnt like was the breakfast. The food isn't hot, it's always lukewarm. Anytime I stay it's always the same thing. I.e. eggs w/cheese, saugage, or breakfast burritos. I miss the grits, fresh fruit, fresh pancakes, fresh waffles on the waffle maker. Nothing seems fresh anymore.
