What guests think

At Days Inn by Wyndham Wainwright, reviewers repeatedly highlight very clean, recently renovated rooms and friendly, helpful staff, with easy check-in and a generally quiet stay, making this a straightforward, good-value stop for work trips or short visits.

Room size varies: some inside units feel small, while main-floor rooms with kitchenettes and exterior doors are roomier. Breakfast feedback is mixed, ranging from very good to just okay, with reports of limited options, slow refills, and no gluten-free choices. Common drawbacks include no elevator, occasional noise from thin walls, and sporadic maintenance or air-quality issues. Overall, it suits travelers seeking simple convenience over full-service amenities.

The renovations to the hotel are marvelous! But - it is a 2-story hotel and needs an elevator - esp. for us traveling seniors who don't find it safe hauling our luggage up/down the stairs. Also, the door in the back of the building does not have adequate lighting and the steps up to that door need orange paint to indicate (in the dark) that there is a step.

The hotel was nice and new on the inside. We had a lot of heavy stuff and there was no elevator, a bit inconvenient. No gluten free options at breakfast and breakfast was served from 5-9. A bit early to close breakfast in my opinion. Other than that it good.

Only concern I had was the air quality. Definitely think the hotel should look into its HVAC system, air in the rooms was somewhat musty and bothered my (normally resilient) sinuses.

Pros: - friendly staff - decent breakfast with several options - affordable - good sized rooms Cons: - the sheets and pillow cases need an upgrade or better cleaning - the walls are PAPER thin. We could hear the TVs on both sides of us...could actually tell what the people were watching. And the night we were there there was banging/stomping on the floor above us literally all night long. I would stay here again, but I would probably try the Ramada first.

Although the rooms have been renovated this is still a Motel status property. The walls are paper thin. People are living on a weekly to a monthly basis here. We were woken up at 5 am from hearing the other rooms alarm clock going off. There was only 3 pillows on the bed instead of 4, The bed itself was semi ok except for the top right hand corner, worn and you felt like you were sleeping on a slant. When checking out the staff member didn't even once asked us how our stay was.

Solid stay. Due to the kitchenette the room had a bit of a lived in smell but I have stayed here previously without same issue. Staff were helpful, location is perfect. Room was excellent and modern. Only gripe is considering the depth of competition in the area this stay is more of a 110-125 range. Little over priced for slower season. Overall would recommend and predictably solid stay!

Convenient location, and simple check in process. Bed and room was clean, fan or ac worked as well. Only a few things that were not super great was the dead lock on the door didn’t work, and if we didn’t close the door in a certain way it would continuously beep. Bathroom amenities weren’t fully stocked either, which isn’t the worst but just inconvenient.
