Rooms were great. Showers were nice. Breakfast was good (eggs, sausage, oatmel, bagels and toast) and plenty of coffee. Fitness center was not bad. Treadmills and dumbells.

I’m always staying at true Hilton‘s and normally pretty satisfied and happy with my rooms but the 1 inch Cleveland Ohio was not great. Mattresses were old and visibly soiled. The pillows did not have pillow covers just one slip on it and the pillow itself was yellow and brown stained. It was pretty disgusting. Everything else just needed to be deep cleaned so we ended up not staying but normally a true Hilton anywhere else that I’ve been been great.

Maybe this is big city hotels these days, but the room size was a shock. It felt like there was barely enough room for our luggage much less, people. We literally had to pull our feet up and onto the bed if someone expected to pass by walking to the other side of the room to change positions. ‘VERY tiny rooms. Fortunately, for us, we didn’t spend much time in the room and the sleeping was just fine. The massive letdown was the elevator system. While I’m sure it was designed to maximize efficiency and maintain Security, the whole thing seemed pretty poorly executed. At one point, while the elevator seemed to be malfunctioning, the elevator technician told us to go ahead and ride the elevator up because “all things that go up must come down.” He was sadly mistaken, and we ultimately had to get off on an upper floor to repress all of our buttons over again to be delivered to the floor as we actually entered in the lobby. By our third day, we started to understand how the system worked and realized that it was malfunctioning. It was not our error. When getting on at the lobby, we could briefly see the floors we had all entered on the display to the inside of the door; however, shortly after the door closed all of our numbers would systematically disappear & we’d find ourselves riding blindly to the floors that we were waiting to come down. This happened on multiple occasions, none more worse than checkout day, where we were forced to just lug our bags down the stairs.

We booked last minute when the B and B we booked turned out to be a disaster. We were met with kindness and thoughtful service from the moment we arrived. The room was spotless and well supplied with towels, extra pillows and ample toiletries. The complimentary breakfast was tasty and offered good variety. Complimentary coffee, water, and snacks were always available in the lobby. Kudos to management and staff. We will makes this our go-to stay anytime we are in Cleveland.

Nice hotel with large and clean rooms. Staff was excellent. The only downside was the breakfast. It was mediocre and not prepared on time.
