The staff were pretty friendly & very helpful. The shuttle to/from Cleveland Clinic was a godsend! Breakfast was great, with a good assortment of items. The room (424) was comfortable but had a slight stale air odor (having the a/c on helped hide it some). It needs new carpet & a new shower head , but the bed was good…not too hard & not too soft 😊. I would stay there again.

Checked into room 223 but I asked to switch because of the loud bathroom fan, was put in 219 which smelled of body odor, tub wouldn't drain was standing in water to my ankles, the sink also had a slow drain & would back up. Shower STUCK on no bath option water come on from shower head. Upon checking out I saw my vehicle was damaged on the passenger door handle & side mirror (same side) the lot is monitored 24/7 by a person & video but yet I got no apologies or resolutions to my now damaged 2024. The parking lot attendant 9/1 at check in was Mean & later when I left he violently smacked a traffic cone out of my hand because I was moving it from in front of my car to leave. He saw me getting in my car preparing to leave in handicap & didn't move the cone himself but chose to smack it out of my hand. Same hand that's had two surgeries in the last 3yrs. Here it is 7dys after check out no room deposit refund or parking fee OR no email or call about my damaged car. As a lone traveler I felt unsafe in that parking lot around that angry parking attendant - he told me where to park upon returning so I wouldn't put it past him to have damaged my car himself or knows WHO did it & that's WHY I've not heard ANYTHING from Comfort in or lot attendant/operator.

This hotel is dated, and could use a huge facelift. BUT, for it's oldness it was super clean and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was very good too! Old does not mean ugly and dirty. Beds were very clean and comfy. Bathroom was very tight but again, CLEAN! (carpet and side chair ...old) It is located in the theatre district and across from the university-streets felt safe and no issues for us visiting for 2 nights. Very close 10-15 minutes to Baseball field and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Great City!

Clean room Comfortable bed and bedding Place is scheduled for a remodel, but it is not decrepit by any means. Guy at the front desk called after 2 hours to ask if everything was ok with the room. That was a very nice touch I haven't seen anywhere else. I didn't realize one had to pay for parking when staying there but it is smack in the middle of the city, so space is limited.

If you are willing to look past the peeling paint on the walls and the rusty bathroom fixtures, there are a lot of great things about this hotel. The breakfast was excellent, and well looked after by attentive and helpful staff. The rooms were clean and the bed was super comfy, with excellent air conditioning. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go - Progressive Field to watch a ball game, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and many shops and restaurants.
