The hotel general manager has conscientiously chosen to neglect the overall guests experience to squeeze out a few nominal percentage points of additional Net Operating Income. Bravo Mr. Manager you did it! The entire hotel is operated in a manner which is penny wise but dollar stupid. All at the expense of the overall customer experience. 1.)Shuttle Buses—This hotel has three (3) idle/unused shuttle buses sitting in the parking lot unavailable for guests to use for shuttle services to or from the airport. Despite being a very short distance from the airport, the shuttle buses are not being used or made available to hotel guests. Upon inquiring with hotel staff about the utilization of the shuttle buses they assert they have not renewed the insurance. 2.) Daily Breakfast—The hotel lobby area has a fully equipped kitchen and dining area for the preparation and operation of daily guests breakfast. 3.) Jacuzzi—The hotel has a perfectly operational hot tub yet the hotel management chooses to keep it covered and unavailable to hotel guests. To minimize the monthly maintenance costs and additional utility operating costs.

The only thing I like is the size of the room and maybe the front desk staff. He's nice and professional. This is like a motor hotel, the door is facing the parking lot. The pool is closed and under renovation. The place is old and run down. The furnitures look like they were picked up from a dumpster. Totally NOT like in the pictures. Scratches and stains all over the cabinets and walls. The surrounding area looks shady and neglected. That's why this property is rated 6.6 in Expedia. This is the first time I'm trying a rating lower than 8. I learned my lesson. Good thing we're just staying for one night, just need a place to crash. Never again.

Bed was comfortable and the staff were very helpful, but I had many broken or damaged items in my room and both the pool and the gym were out of service while I was staying. These were two of the main reasons I had booked this location. I would go back, but I would absolutely make sure that everything is up and running before I do.

The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Parking was easy, even with an oversized vehicle, and the room is clean and comfortable.

Front desk check in wasn’t welcoming. Once we opened our suite door, the smell of cigarettes hit us immediately. Floors are SO dirty and stained. Bathroom was not clean. Walls were dirty. The pool was not open.

Great service. Quite with no kids running around loudly. Booked here for the pool and it was closed. Also changed the booking for here because of the full oven and stove but our room only had 2 burners but did have a full sized fridge and microwave. Would book here again if needed.

No ice machine Hotel is not in great shape We were located in a building that does sleep studies.

Everything was very nice and clean. The lady who checked me in was very kind and helpful. The only thing I was disappointed about was the pool and hot tub was already closed for the season. I wish that would have been mentioned on the website when I booked. But that wasn’t a deal breaker. And I will definitely be staying there again

When I reserved the room, it was to be a ground level room. When I checked in, I was put in a room on the 2nd floor. I go to the room, and the housekeeping staff left the door wide open, and they left the towels they were cleaning with on the table. The smoke alarm was beeping the for the first 3 hours, after checking in until I finally called and Diane came to replace the battery. The lower level bathroom was dirty had black curly hairs in the tub with spiders, the toilet had urine spots on the seat, and the couch had massive stains on it as well as the bottom of the living room curtains (looked like dried blood)! The bathroom upper door frame looked like some thing clawed its way out of it. At 9:45 pm there were kids unsupervised outside screaming and playing basketball when the property rules are quiet hours start at 9 pm. I called front desk and stated I was checking out due to the noise and having to be at the hospital to work at 4:30 am and she said "well they are kids, do you really want me to go make my rounds and yell at kids?" I said if that is your job and your property rules then yes but not because I complained. She went to check me out and couldn't find me, for another employee put some guys name in on the room after I checked in! I wouldn't stay here if the room was free.

Our room was absolutely disgusting…huge stains on the carpet, broken air with cardboard piecing it together, broken lamp, non working outlets, garbage left outside the door and to top it off, the pull out couch sofa had huge blood stains covering almost the entire mattress with mold underneath. It literally looks like someone was murdered there. Reported it to health department after hotel management acted like it was no big deal.

Room was filthy -truly looked like no cleaning was done between guests Hair on floor -counters -dressers My guess was they straighted the bed and called it a day I have never stayed in a more disgusting place and will not stay in that chain again When I left I packed all my stuff that had contact w/ the room -tied in a plastic bag and used a laundry mat to launder my things

Our room was in a back builfing that was shared with some sort of medical sleep lab? The room was not updated at all. The ceiling had been painted over so many times you could see how thick it was. It smelled old and smoky. Was not impressed for the money i spent!

Bathroom had water damage, crumbling wall, missing handle in the shower leaving holes and pealing paint. Carpet was stained in several places and there was rust streaks on the curtains. The place must have been nice at one point but so disappointing!

My family was intown for my daughter volleyball tournament and we decided to stay here because it had a kitchen in the room where i could make my daughter snacks for her games. When we got to the room there were crumbs all over the floor, there were soft spots all over (scared to walk across the floor didnt know if I would fall through, there were stains all over the walls and the kitchen had absolutely nothing it not even a few paper items or plastic items. Didnt look like the room was ever cleaned. There were burn holes in some of the furniture and there was a cigarette left in the window. Pictures online are very deceiving. I will do better research next time I plan to stay at any hotel.

There needs to be a law for hotels that knowingly have rooms that have a stench of smoke. They had me sign a paper stating that if I smoke there will be a large fine and when I entered the room, it stunk of old cigarette smoke. I went back down and had them write it was already full of smoke order. I would have never booked this hotel knowing that the majority of their rooms stink of a very strong order of smoke. Also, nothing to cook with, one glass no silverware....this was advertised as a suite. They showed me other rooms, but they all stunk. My throat is still soar after spending two nights there, I opened the two windows thinking it would help and it didn't. It obviously gets into the walls, curtains, flooring etc. Shame on you Sonesta to try and blame cigerette smoke on new customers entering the property who don't even smoke. And, they knowingly make you sign a paper that you'll pay a fine if it smells of smoke. Truly disgusting!

Not sure where to begin. We had to switch rooms twice because of urine stains on carpet, blood stains, and black mold. Our last room did not have any working toilets (2 bathrooms) no toilet paper and dirty towels. My wife ended up sleeping in the car as it was deplorable. When we checked out I asked for the owner's number and was declined stating that they dont take calls. It was just bought out and all amenities are gone and they clearly dont care about cleanliness. I am working with the health department and calling in several complaints to get this hotel condemned. IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE AND THE STAFF NEGATIVE STARS, THERE WOULD NOT BE A NUMBER TO RATE THIS HOTEL AS IT WAS THE WORST HOTEL I HAVE STAYED AT IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. DONT STAY HERE!!!!

The customer service representatives were very kind and helpful. However, I had to park around the back of the building, and none of the doors in the back would open with my key card. I had to lug all of my luggage around the front of the building to get in. When I got to my room, the building door demagnetized my key card, and I couldn’t get into my room. When I called the front desk from my cell phone, the woman was kind and brought me a new key. When I got into the room, the curtains in the room were torn and the heat wasn’t working properly. It would not turn up past 66 degrees even though I set it to 71. Although the conditions weren’t ideal, the price was affordable.

The room itself was not too bad just outdated. The bathroom seems outdated and a bit dirty. Check in was at 3 but they didn’t have a room ready until 3:20pm. Hard to walk outside because the weather was so cold below 10 degrees. Majority of the time I watched tv and went to bed. The light in the bathroom if you leave it on too long the fire alarm would go off scared me.

It is so close to being really nice, just a little more investment into new carpets and details could make it great

Expected an average room and got a little suite with a room, a loft, 2 baths, full kitchen and a gas fireplace. The place shows its age and could use some TLC, but nothing too out of the ordinary: a loose hinge here, a janky doorknob there. Staff was friendly, even cheery, and helpful. Solid place for a budget stay.

I got moved out of the initial room that I had reserved. I like the rooms in the small building much more than the large complex that I got moved to. The property is showing its age. I have been to this property many times over the years, and it feels as if it's in decline. Not sure if Sonesta is going to invest some money to spruce it up, but it sure could use a face lift. Having said that though, it's still pretty clean, and it's convenient to a lot of amenties for the area.

The room was comfortable, but there was a sleep testing center on the same of the building that my room was in????????? Not sure what that was all about. Also the Wi-Fi was terrible you didn't know when you would loose connectivity when you were in the middle of working on something I will never stay at any of these Sonesta again

Although most of the staff was polite, I felt like management was more interested in pacifying me than actually resolving the issues. My stay started off with a fruit fly problem, which I ultimately resolved myself by purchasing traps from Walmart. The much bigger issue was the Internet. My connection speed was consistently less than 1 Mbps, and the quality was rated as “very poor.” Instead of taking ownership, the manager repeatedly told me, “No one else has reported issues with the Internet,” as if that was supposed to make the problem feel acceptable or make me go away. He did connect me with the ISP, but they simply said the issue had been “escalated” and that someone would call me back — no one ever did. This went on for six straight days. Eventually, the manager agreed to release me from the final eight days of my reservation so I could find another hotel. Overall, the experience left me feeling dismissed rather than helped. While the staff was kind, the management’s approach to problem-solving needs serious improvement.

Beds were comfortable, room was clean. Appeared dated, could use some refreshing. There wasn't any utensils, cups and plates, or cooking items. No breakfast offered. The staff was friendly. Overall it was a decent value, if I am in the area again I would stay again.

Front desk staff was awesome

Check in went Smooth, but when we got to our room, the bathroom was extremely dirty they were dirty dishes and we had no toilet paper and one towel. There were stains and iron burns all over the carpet and table. The property definitely needs some upgrades, needs to be remodeled and definitely deeper cleaned. I went to the office to let them know how dirty everything was, and to ask for some toilet paper I walked in, and the gentleman at the desk completely ignored me. I said hello twice and he was standing there putting flavor packs in his water, shaking his water. I am telling him what’s going on. He said well what do you want me to do you want to switch rooms at this point a lady comes from the back and she says well we had ran out of toilet paper and dishwasher tabs so that’s why the dishes were dirty and you don’t have any toilet paper so my issue is that the hotel is supposed to supply at least toilet paper. Why didn’t they go buy any? I left my room number because they said the general manager wasn’t there and no one can do anything and so I never got a callback from him. I had to called back the next day and give him all of my same complaints and he says to me well what do you think I should do about it and so I laughed his name was Evan I said well at least you can give me one of my nights for free and he agreed to do that to refund one night it but the whole thing was unacceptable. I would not recommend this place.

Paid for 3 nights, after returning the first day I entered the room to discover the room cleaned, all my possessions gone. At first was told I was transferred to another room, that room was dirty and my possessions weren't there. Then was told no rooms are available. After the night clerk had a long discussion with someone on the phone I was given another room. While I was evaluating this next room the night clerk called and told me to come and get my possessions, no apology, no explanation. When I asked for the stuff I had in the refrigerator she did not know anything about it or where is was.

Staff was unfriendly, there was no accessible access to my room, there was a pile of wet dirty laundry outside of my door for two days, people in the lobby were complaining about rodents and having no air conditioning...seriously. I'm not making this up. Also, seems like there were several people living there due to having been pushed into homelessness.

Horrible. Had to leave after 1 night due to multiple reasons including safety, condition of rooms (fridge missing door handle, no cushions on the couch, holes in floor covered by thing carpet, toilet took 4 flushes to complete and shower drain was clogged so you stood in dirty water). Requested a refund and was denied. Rented 4 rooms and all 4 left due to these issues. This hotel has gone severely downhill In the last few years and they do not seem to even care. When checking in they had to go and see if people were in the rooms before being able to assign rooms. The check in staff was doing the best they could with what they had but that should have been the indicator for us to just leave at that point. When leaving I was met with a very defensive manager who advised only hotels.com could refund. I took an hour to get hotels on the line, they agreed a refund was due but had to call location, when they did the manager declined refund stating we were cancelling after allowable date. This is absolutely not true we were leaving due to extreme poor conditions and safety issues. Completely unacceptable. Still fighting for refund.

Let's start here: The clerk at the desk was bored, indifferent and could really care less about the customers trying to check in. Overtly clinical and not about to answer anything she deemed un-necessary. The room - C'mon... No TP, Mouse trap & Bug Traps visible. Weak floor in Bathroom, Coffee Grounds - No Cups (had Lids tho!), take 2 flushes to clear the commode. well stained carpet... This would have been a great deal @ 49.99 per night - NOT what I had to pay and use points to get it at THAT price.... I do NOT recommend this place at all if you are expecting what the name implies (Something better than a roadside inn).

Horrible check-in. The absolute rudest and passive aggressive clerk I have ever met. I spoke to the manager about her and he gave me a free night because she was so awful. She gave me a 2nd floor with no elevator knowing full well my spousr was handicapped. When I asked for a first floor, she told me to take the room or too bad. One of the other clerks found me a first floor room.

I tried to cancel my reservation at this hotel and I'm waiting for a full refund from this hotel. You staff Christina was rude and I'm requesting a full refund since I didn't stay at this particular hotel

Hotel is a bit dated re carpet, furniture, etc. Good staff. No perks but good value for money. Laundry helpful. Basic gym, clean pool. On vacation, so easy to attend Guardians and Browns games.

Great little hotel, also shared with a local hospital and functioned as the sleep clinic so it was really quiet at night. My only disappointment was that there was no electric car charger, but that's hotel.com's fault, not the facility's.

I enjoyed blackout curtains and quiet neighbors for the duration of my trip. The nearby restaurants were very much to my liking. It’s been a great trip.

Weird location. Half the building is used as a sleep clinic, the rest as part of the ES property which includes multiple buildings. Property is old and rundown, could definitely use some updates. Room wasn’t very clean, the worst being dirty floors and corners, crumbs and drip marks on tables and nightstands. Not the dirtiest I’ve seen, but could’ve been better. Stains on the sheets, towels were very worn, stains on couch. No blanket on bed just sheets and a simple bed cover, and no blankets hidden in the closet either. Very limited supply of toilet paper provided, and even though the room had a kitchenette, there weren’t plates or utensils, and no dish soap/towel/wash cloth. Very disappointing from other ES hotels I’ve stayed in. Also, the exterior door to the stairwell didn’t lock at any time during the day and could just be pulled open. Our room was one flight of stairs up from that door, leaving us with apprehension regarding safety.

This hotel was in good condition. The room had a lot of space and it was clean. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom had great water pressure and temperature. My only slight complaint was the bathroom was a little small. The employees were kind and inviting. The parking lot was safe and the location was convenient to Cleveland. Would definitely stay again.

Great location to everything freeway, restaurants and shopping. The unit did not have enough plates glasses, silverware and it had no pots or pans. Overall the studio was nice clean and bed comfortable. Would stay here again when I come to Cleveland.

Mix of short and extended stay. Close to the airport. Room was very large and check in was fast. Only issue was a door to the outside near the room which was being slammed shut over an over causing me to wake up.

The convenience to the highway is great; however, not having kitchen utensils, dishware, etc. easily accessible is very disturbing. Also, not being told ahead of time that the grab and go breakfast was discontinued should be discounted on each night's cost. The carpet was disgustingly dirty; meanwhile the room itself was very poorly updated and physically and visibly very unkempt and hardily maintained.

The property is very outdated and needs tender loving care for the nightly price. The front desk crew is unfriendly and seem to not have customer service equiette. We stayed for 5 days and was stocked with one garbage and one roll of toilet paper. I picked this hotel because it was listed as having breakfast and as i checked in there was a sign that stated no breakfast. Thats false advertisement.

They did not have a breakfast as advertised. Our room was clean and huge, but slightly dated. We got a wonderful night's sleep both nights we stayed here

The staff were great and the rooms were very clean and roomy . My only negative about the room are the pillows they were extremely stiff and very small. My only other issue was there coffee station didn’t have any creamers so you have to drink it black only. I wouldn’t go back because I personally like to have breakfast on site and obviously creamer. Overall the place is clean and friendly- I would recommended for a stay .

Take out the garbage or be fined $25. No breakfast.

They don't serve breakfast only coffee no room service but every 2 weeks the carpets are gross everything needs to be updated but for the price it's worth it ....

This is a hotel in transition. Unfortunately, it is near the bottom. The kitchen, in this extended stay hotel has... essentially nothing except for built in appliances, a toaster and a coffee maker. Of course, the only coffee was 3 packets of left over decaf. There were NO utensils if you wanted to stir your cup of decaf. The carpet was badly stained and wasn't cleaned. There were splotches of tomato sauce on it and on the cabinets. The bathroom had rudimentary shampoo, etc. There WERE NO cups, not even cheap plastic cups to drink the water. In the shower, the 'built in' dispensers were removed, leaving only the mounts. The bed was OK but it would have helped if they provided a blanket or comforter. All we had were sheets. A couch was likewise OK. The TV was a high point. It worked. I spoke with management and they said that they were trying to train new staff and replace the carpets. A bit late for me. When you look at the website, many things that they offer are not available. Note that this is a franchise hotel. Sonesta does not have firm control. I won't stay here again.

So your add said breakfast, actually vegan breakfast, but no breakfast in this place since COVID. No cups in the room ( they took plates out years ago) just a terrible stay. They don't care since their fully booked by the local hospital so they are set financially

Probably about a 2 star property. Breakfast was discontinued which I did not know. Staff was super nice.
