The layout of the room that includes a desk, couch and seating area makes hotel stay more tolerable. Breakfast buffet was the best we've encountered. Appreciated the variety and fresh fruit. Front desk was helpful and bar service good. Nice pool. Airport shuttle quick. Only set back - someone set off the smoke alarm by smoking marijuana in the building causing a large commotion. Staff seemed not to take this seriously. Responsible individual should have been asked to leave the hotel.

The comfortable rooms, the showers, the view, the pool, especially the hot tub, THE KITCHEN STAFF were amazing, the breakfast was SO delicious and everything stayed nice and stocked up as well as the coffee. When I called the front desk and asked for towels, they were quick to be delivered. I love this hotel! Top of my list of my favorite hotels in Anchorage for sure!

For the price I paid I was a little disappointed. When we checked in I found a big hair ball in our room and had to kill a spider in our shower. Then the next day the continental breakfast was a free for all with no one cleaning tables or refilling plates. I think they could staff a bit better to help with keeping up with cleanliness

The room was dirty, we love this hotel usually so it wont affect me staying again, but was sticky reside on the dresser drawer handles, carpet seemed dirty, fridge didnt get very cool and also was dirty,.. i was hoping for a better shower pressure too, and everything was empty except some conditioner… i do appreciate the front desk workers tho, very kind and helpful.

It was clear upon first entering the room that it was lacking in cleanliness. There were smears of mystery substances on walls, mugs and cups in the room were dirty, carpet hadn’t been thoroughly vacuumed, and there were clothes from the previous guest left in the drawers. We had a 4 night stay and had to request the room to be serviced on the 3rd day - which only consisted of emptying the trash and making beds (towels weren’t even replenished - we were left with one hand towel). Parking is free and convenient. The pool area was clean, despite (again) complete lack of towels. Overall a very lackluster experience.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable, but guest should be informed that there would not be any housekeeping services. The dining area was nice, but the breakfast was not good at all. There didn't seem to be anyone available to monitor the food or the area.

My family did a staycation at this hotel specifically for the pool use. The pool was so chlorinated burning our eyes within 10 min there was clumps of hair and dirt all over the floor surrounding the pool. The hot tub had brow/pink/tan crud floating on top of the bubbles throughout the entire hot tub. There were no pool towels available. The room was gross with pink/red stains on the floor and brown stains on the couch. The pull out bed was covered in dust and dirt, our bed spread and sheets had lots of hair other peoples hair in and on them. The bathtub had not been cleaned and the soap container holders were empty (advertised as having them) with buildup layering the bottom of them. The wall paper on 2 walls in the bathroom was bunched up and peeling off. The ceiling in the hallway was falling apart, numerous routes and gashes in the hall way walls & broken door frames. They had three rooms next to us that was full of people partying with their doors open until 4 am. There was no coffee available until 3am and they promptly made it disappear at 10am. The trash can outside the front door was overflowing all over the sidewalk and 3 homeless vagrants gathered around it picking through it and harassing guests going inside. This hotels only saving grace was the wonderful woman that checked us in and the waitress and cook staff in the restaurant. The night clerk was completely unhelpful.

I would not recommend staying at this hotel. It is very run down. In my room the carpet was tattered and the lamp broken. There was no housekeeping service unless you scheduled it the day before. The treadmills in the gym were not good. I made the decision to check out and move to another hotel that was nicer and actually ended up being cheaper.

We got in at about 10:30pm on the train to anchorage. We scheduled an Uber, gathered our luggage and took about a 12 minute drive to our hotel. Check in was smooth and painless. We found our room without a problem. Thermostat adjusted room temperature quickly to what we wanted it at and we were able to get to bed quickly. The shades darkened the room so we were able to sleep even though it was still light out. It was quiet all night. The hotel offered a free shuttle service to the airport, on the hour (that you need to schedule the night before). We got to the airport with no problems. Now for the not so great…the lotion they provide, smells great, but does not soak in and is watery. The shampoo on the sink look like it has been used and left there. The drain in the shower had a longer, rectangular cover that was supposed to be placed over it, but it was propped up in the shower, to the side. We didn’t use the shower because we were there less than 12 hours, so I can’t tell you if the drain worked or not. The room didn’t seem to have any modern updates, or any extra perks to it. There weren’t any USB ports in the room for chargers. For a room that cost $445 for one night, booked 10 months in advance, I thought it would have been nicer and had more to it.

Property was basically new condition. The room was little smaller than expected. Large kitchen area, but small under counter refrigerator. The room had a private bedroom, which was great. But the bathroom had a frosted glass door that would shine light into the living room bedroom so anyone sleeping there would be affected. Lastly, very limited towels. Had to ask twice to get more towels. Also no room cleaning service done during the time of our stay. It would have been nice to at least take dirty towels and empty the trash.

Travelling for work and it was a great stay. Safe, clean, easy parking. The free breakfast was as expected. Rooms are slightly outdated, but not the end of the world. I was on the 2nd floor and had a view of the roof. I didn't mind, but if you care about having any view opt for a higher floor.

Ron, drives the shuttle and was the best! He was so kind and accommodating. He drove us from the hotel to the train station. Ask for him if there is any questions about the shuttle schedule, the front desk was not providing accurate information.

We kept getting conflicting information. One of the staff would tell us one thing and the next would tell us something completely different. Told us to call from the train station when we received our luggage but when I called they told us there were no more shuttles from the train. We got in at 11:00 pm and had to beg them to come pick us up. So much conflicting information.

We booked a 2-room/3-day stay and did not receive housekeeping service once. On the second day, still dirty, we spoke with the front desk to request service at (5pm). We returned at 8pm and asked the same request. Then again at 11pm. In total we had spoken 4 employees and were effectively told that it was not possible to receive service as housekeeping is only available by request, which we had already asked 3 previous times. Not only were we not informed of this unusual policy at check-in, but there is no signage in the room or at the front desk to inform guests otherwise to what is standard hotel procedure. Additionally, on arrival the shower shampoo/soap was empty. One other consideration is safety - our room was on the ground floor facing the rear parking lot and during the course of our stay, there were multiple people passing our room/window (and loitering in parking lot) that were clearly intoxicated/homeless/drug users. This negatively affected our comfort and feeling of safety.

Things that seemed to be no bother at all, they were not trying to help and quite unfriendly about. There was a homeless person sleeping in the lobby one of the days and it seemed to be OK but the optics were not good.

First off we had to call hotel three times before a person answered after arrival at 12:20 am. We were told to call after we collected luggage and a van would pick us up. It took 20 minute before someone answered. The van never came, or if it did we were not picked up. We waited for 40 minutes. We took a taxi , the hotel is 8 minutes away from airport. The hotel is close to a couple of restaurants. It is clean. Bar is not a bar. Very unfriendly staff there. Poured a one ounce drink and charged $28 For a vodka. When questioned, he corrected it, but with an attitude! Breakfast was not good. Would choose another hotel in Anchorage.

We arrived at 4:30 p.m. and were told no rooms were available. We were told we would have to wait 15-20 minutes, which turned out to be 3.5 hours. We didn't get to our room until 8:00 p.m. We were given the excuse that it was Sunday and they only had two staff. Not Good! The attire the person at the front desk was wearing was shocking. He was wearing a dirty T-shirt and a ragged zip-up blue hooded sweatshirt. It was not professional-looking at all. The room lacked several things. The water for the bathroom sink came out in a trickle. I understand water conservation, but this was ridiculous. The room lacked a sufficient-sized desk to do my work, and I was surprised the room did not have a microwave. The front entrance and the entrance by the pool were littered with more cigarette butts than I could count. Seriously, I mean a lot of cigarette butts. I smoke and was appalled to see so many cigarette butts. The beds were nice. Slept well. Overall, I was very disappointed with my stay. I had a feeling this might happen when I met the front desk person, who looked like he had just come off the street. Couple that with the 3.5-hour delay getting to our room and the issues we had with our room, I elected to leave a day early.

Hotel is located in a commercial district so if you need home improvement items you can just go next door. Got in late so had to gobble a sandwich before the bar/restaurant closed but the staff was very accommodating and stayed a few minutes late to help us out. Shuttle driver was very helpful and got us to the right spot for cruise pickup shuttle. Room was nice and appeared to have been recently remodeled. Just a quick overnite before our cruise so didn’t get to use any amenities. Would stay here again.

Good airport access nice size rooms free breakfast and indoor pool fast check in on a very late arrival. Decent place to stay if you can tolerate that housekeeping will not clean your room daily despite daily requests at front desk we had about a 60% response and dismissive response when we followed up with staff stating the room list did not have us listed for cleaning despite our multiple prompts and one night they said they would send the staff in later but 9-10pm came and we finally just set our trash outside in the hallway. Also be wary of the drug deals and random vans loitering in the rear parking lot against the Office Depot side lot we reported people exchanging vials and bags of drugs to staff and there is a non emergent local line 311 to report suspicious activity. Otherwise if you can tolerate intermittent housekeeping and drug deals in the parking lot the hotel itself is nice enough inside and staff seem to enjoy working there.

My favorite things was having laundry facilities on premises, which was super helpful. However, there was no detergent available so had to instacart some to the room, so that was unfortunate. There were few dining options, but that's ok, we ate outside anyway. It was a fine middle of the road hotel. Clean and convenient, but not fancy.

The breakfast was good with a lot of variety and fresh fruits every day in addition to old fashioned oatmeal, yogurt, berries, eggs and bacon or sausage. I want to highlight that the van driver, Ron, came over and helped us load some heavy luggage that we were struggling to fit into our personal car. He was so kind and helpful.
