Stayed 1 night

I have honestly never seen a hotel room designed like this before: a glass door opening directly onto the elevator hallway, giving other guests a direct view into the room. I still don’t understand how this was considered a reasonable design choice. The glass door had two sets of curtains: a light, sheer pair and heavy blackout curtains. However, it was impossible to use only the sheer curtains, because anyone getting off the elevator could see directly into the room. This meant I had to keep the blackout curtains closed the entire time, even during the day. The whole situation was incredibly uncomfortable and honestly quite shocking. To make matters worse, the room itself was extremely old, worn out and very dated. There was also very little lighting, so the room was practically dark both during the day and at night. It felt gloomy and poorly maintained. The only positive aspect of my stay was the two reception staff members at the entrance, who were always very kind and courteous. Other than that, I was genuinely shocked by the room and extremely grateful that I only had to stay for one night. Definitely not a room I would want to stay in again.

Staff was wonderful and we will stay there again, but the rooms are somewhat dated. This particularly became noticeable when we tried to charge our phones using the built-in chargers. They are obsolete and don't work with the more recent iPhones. The fit connection is incorrect. When I went downstairs to ask for a charging option, I was told there was no business centre and they had no chargers or charging pads that guests could use. They could SELL me one. and the good hearted staff person did admit they were overpriced and suggested another place for me to go in order to purchase one. But considering there is no business centre in this hotel, having a few up to date and current chargers that can be signed out to rooms and then returned, would be a very useful and much appreciated.. I didn't need or want to buy another charger. I needed to briefly have an option of using one or a wireless charging pad.
