Beautiful facilities. 2 pools. Quick walk to a nice beach.

Nice pool, but many tiles are coming off. Breakfast was good. Great service. May stay again but there are so many hotels in the area. Over all was a good stay. Very good location.

Our room was way in the back of the complex. Walking on the pool deck, although newly replaced, was unbelievably slippery! At night, ther was a step that was not lit and someone could really fall and hurt badly! The pool, although beautiful, was very unsafe too as there were jagged tiles and underwater steps to hit with your legs. Bathroom and light switches were very awkward! Staff was nice

This property is adequate. Not great. The pool needs to be refinished. Tiles are popping off. Beautiful dolphin and elephant fountains feeding the pool are cracked and leaking on pool decking. Plants are overgrown in walkways causing you to duck and dodge. Staff was friendly and the room was mostly maintained clean however cleaning times varied from 9am to 7pm. The hotel leaves out their cleaning carts with towels, shampoo, and bottled water available simply by going out in the hallway. I would stay here again, however I would look for another property first before booking Princess Kamala again. Also the breakfast buffet is good, but there are several better more affordable options close by. I recommend eating breakfast on the beach.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in a junior suite which was nice, but the bathroom area was very cramped. Otherwise, it was very nice to be able to have the additional safe and nice patio to sit out on and enjoy the quite evenings. The pool area was excellent and the location was awesome to access the beach and all the vendors. Are looking to our next visit.

the hotel is very nice. The staff is great. The room and area is very clean. My only issue was with the pool. Water it seemed like it burned the heck out of my eyes so I did not use it

Insgesamt eine sehr schöne Anlage mit großen Zimmern (Bungalows). Allerdings ist die Anlage definitiv an manchen Ecken schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Dies fällt am meisten beim Pool auf, dort muss man etwas aufpassen, damit man sich nicht schneidet.

O hotel tem ótima localização, quarto com bom tamanho e móveis funcionais, mas as instalações estão envelhecidas e necessitam de renovação e manutenção. A piscina é grande e gostosa, mas os usuários usam muito óleo que deixam uma camada na superfície, muito ruim e anti higiênico. Estivemos no quarto com acesso à piscina, mas não usamos porque a água era fria; não batia sol e estreita. Também ficaria difícil para meu marido entrar e sair da piscina pois tem 81 anos e tem próteses no quadril. Arquitetura mal feita. Inclusive o piso da piscina principal também muito inapropriado quando molhado, pois é escorregadio. Há ótimos restaurantes por perto.

Laila and Joy not only kept the room clean but outside of the room as well tremendous rain storm and leaves. They were constantly working outstanding employees.

The reviews are fake. This property is extremely dirty. There is mold everywhere. After complaining to the staff about how dirty the room was after checking in, they said they would come and clean. All they did was clean the floor. The bathroom are never cleaned. The sink area not cleaned. Toilet still dirty. Spoke to property manager and he did not care. He offer me a cab to the airport for when I checked out, and I said no. I asked for my money back for the nights I still had left and he said that he could not give me my money back. All he can do is give me a $10 transfer to the airport. I told him no, that is not equal or even near to the $169 I paid extra for one more night before finding out how disgusting this place was. I don’t recommend this place to anyone to stay here. Everything has mold. When I told the staff I could not believe this was a 5 star hotel, she decided to correct me and tell me it was a 4 star hotel as this is suppose to justify how dirty their place is. They also charge more depending who you are and where are you coming from. They don’t know what they are doing. They charge me for breakfast and then next day told me I never paid. Escorted me out of the restaurant like I was stealing. Unprofessional staff, they don’t care to listen or understand. Please don’t stay here, go somewhere else trust me. Reviews are fake!!!!

For a "5 star" resort it was certainly falling short. Rooms were dirty, with mold and rust in the bathroom. Housekeeping didn't change sheets in 7 days. The hotel refused to give us clean towels after a trip to the beach. The large pool had hundreds of broken tiles which was a hazard to my 2 year old daughter. The hotel needs serious renovation. One day, we arrived back at our room from the beach at around 3 pm and our room hadn't been cleaned. I spoke to the front desk and were quite rude, giving me an answer like who knows? I said my daughter needs to nap, so I can't have people knocking on the door. They started speaking in Thai in what seemed to me a mocking tone. On the bright side, the kitchen staff was always very friendly and welcoming, and the food was good, but overpriced compared to the neighborhood. The hotel is in a convenient location, only 2 minute walk to the beach. Phuket is a very inexpensive place, and for the price I paid, and the 5 star claim I was quite underwhelmed.

The property is nicely situated and near the beach. The pool is quite large and clean. The staff was accommodating too. Our room suffered from a stale smell from the A/C-easily avoided with routine cleaning. Breakfast was substandard - -especially compared to other venues in the area. We paid for a floor level pool access room, but it was too narrow for us to easily access due to the design. The bungalows would have been a better choice, as our upstairs guests were very noisy and stomped on the floor A LOT! Not much the property can do about that.

Terrible hotel, stay away! This hotel is disgusting and filthy. The room was dirty, and the sheets were stained. It was crawling with bugs and flies everywhere. We asked for a refund, and the manager said they would approve it only if we didn’t leave a bad review. We reluctantly agreed, but afterward, they refused to give us any refund at all. Needless to say, we left the place immediately and didn’t stay the night. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place!

The property was nice but the bathroom in particular could use an update. We were very disappointed that the view from our room was a rooftop & a transformer, not the lush Forrest as indicated in the picture.

Our pool-access room led to the section of the pool that was only 45cm deep. We had to walk out the front door and over a small bridge to swim in the pool (or wade through the shallow section). The 3 rooms in this section are not really pool-access rooms. Guests need to be told this. However they would be great for a family with toddlers.

Location is great for the beach as it is directly across the road. Many local restaurants to eat and have drinks. The hotel was once a jewel, but now is in need of a major overhaul and upgrade. The bathrooms need a complete re-done. Nice place, just needs some updates to be great again.

C’est un hôtel basique. La piscine est bien, mais la chambre sans plus. La baignoire se vide car le join du bouchon n’est pas étanche. La Clim n’est pas forte à son niveau max et fait bcp de bruit. Le lit trop dur et les coussins trop surélevé.

There were people banging on my door from 12am to 1:30am yelling and trying to break windows, Hotel staff didnt do anything and accused me of knowing them. Horrible staff. They left me at the airport with no ride when I arrived.

As soon as we arrived we asked for pool towels and they said they didn’t have any and they would come at 6pm whereas it was 2pm. They I asked them to provide me with normal bathroom towels and they asked me to wait at reception. After 40 minutes waiting I questioned why it was taking so long and apparently they were just going to leave me there waiting and never even asked to get the bathroom towels. When they finally did bring them the receptionist literally shoved them in my face. I then tried to get pool days for my whole stay and they never had and and every single time I passed reception there was someone complaining about something or other. They really need to sort out the towel issue and overall customer service. Apart from that the rooms and location were good.

Beautiful resort right in the heart of Kamala Beach. Everything you need for your vacation is just steps away. Buffet breakfast was good, well worth the price. Staff were amazing - check-in/out took mere seconds. Also was able to check in early and check out late. Lobby area is big and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

Nothing special about this hotel. It's old and run down. Beds are terrible, although the AC did work great! The only thing this hotel has going for it is the location. Its directly across the street from the beach and in the center of the beach town. So, there is very easy access to stores and restaurants. This is also one of those places that does not let you check in early even if the room is ready. I got thier at 2:25pm and said the room wouldn't be ready till 3pm. Then at 3pm about 40 people all went to the desk to get keys to check in, just stupid and crazy for no reason. Even with this being a great location, I would not stay again.

Comfortable hotel for the price. Staff was excellent. Onsite restaurant was understaffed so the service was very slow. Breakfast was delicious. The gym has a nice view of gardens and the pool is decent

Poor Management - it is like the parents are away and the children are running things. Asked to speak to the Manager twice but no reply. We tried to order Room Service, but were told that they were 'too busy' to serve us. Staff are friendly but there is no management Rooms are a little dated but still very nice. we were not the only ones that had to put up with indifferent service and lack of management

I booked this hotel as a present for my son’s 21st birthday. He stayed here with his girlfriend as one of five hotels Booked for his trip. He said that this was his favourite. The staff decorated his room and gave him a birthday cake. He said that the staff were wonderful and the hotel was always clean. He would like to return and stay longer in the future. I will be choosing to stay at this hotel in the future. Thank you to all of the staff that made my son’s birthday very special.

Beach access was good but despite it's name it is not a beachfront hotel, the beach is located across a road and a short walk away. Hotel was nice outside, pot luck on the rooms, our first room had an electricity pylon outside, we complained and our second room had five air conditioning units outside which we could hear through the wall. The breakfast was okay, good selection but not great. For the price we paid we expected much more.

First not beachfront as advertised . More like a parking lot in front of hotel. Staff at front desk were less than helpful or friendly..maybe they were all having a bad day. Not many dining options. Dirty filthy beach. You would hope with a resort like this they would try to keep beach up. Would not recommend.

A wonderful location, surrounded by everything fun. So much action and then when you return to this hotel, you are treated like a KING. The pool and architecture are truly inspiring. With bungalows and lighting that glows in the most romantic way this place is definitely a couples oasis.

Nice property very near Kamala Beach and the nearby road with many restaurants. Excellent location. Beautiful pool with nice pool bar and fairly good prices, especially for hotel bar, but closes earlier than pool. Many cheap restaurants and bars right nearby and walkable to several other roads and entertainment. Short walk to beach right across the street. Pool was clean and pretty. We stayed in a bungalow which is hot as AC cannot be left on while out of the room, but the AC does work well to cool down the bedroom area when sleeping at night. Once you figure out the shower's hot water, it is ok but does not always get hot easily so hard to figure out how to turn on initially. Our shower was extremely small and hard to figure out how to turn on without spraying the entire toilet area, so had to hold the shower head in our hand the entire time. Pretty property. They closely track the towels, but it is hard to get yours as that desk is not open as early or as late as the pool is open. Some of the staff was great and a few were rude. Not fancy, definitely adequate and loved the quiet location. The shower was the worst part. Friend had a different bungalow which was slightly better but still small bathroom. Overall decent value It was a 300-400 Baht taxi ride to the much larger, louder, and busier Patong Beach. It takes 20-25 minutes to get there. We prefer the Kamala beach which is terrific with rentable beach chairs and people who bring you drinks and food, very nice.

A lovely hotel in the middle of Kamala and opposite the beach. The hotel has a swim up bar, stools are a little too high, provides the pool towels and lovely background music. Breakfast was fabulous. So much variety and a vast mix of foods. In front of the hotel is a cafe makes lovely coffee & juices. The lady was beautiful and kind. Kong was very friendly at the pool bar and so were the other staff. The rooms are spacious and too the bathroom. Bed are very comfortable & had our room made up daily. The beach was dirty & I would not swim in it. No rubbish is picked up by the government/council. Several cafes/restaurants/bar/convenient store/pharmacy & boutiques to buy souvenirs from just a few meters down the road from the hotel.

Everything was average at best. I won’t stay there again. But my friend who doesn’t travel often and who doesn’t care much about good service liked it. Few tables for breakfast and the wait was frustrating.

The location is convenient, Kamala Beach is not far away. And sea food market and bigC supermarket are very close. Nice swimming pool. nice breakfast.

We really enjoyed our stay for the following reasons: it was close to the beach, local restaurants and 7-eleven to grab snacks. The staff were friendly and our room was cleaned each day with fresh towels. Breakfast is the same everyday but has good options. We enjoyed the omelette bar particularly. Overall we really liked the location.

Poor quality breakfast. Pool access rooms not value for money. Shower pressure not up to standard. Location a positive with good access to beach, restaurants and shops.
