A first stay at this property, but not my last. A few blocks off the main road into Lacombe, it's convenient to Hwy 2 as well as quiet. The elevators are speedy; the parking is ample and included. The rooms are nicely decorated. Tollers Bistro is a 4-minute walk and offers excellent food (also generous servings - pro tip).

Where do I begin. Checking in, they gave my reservation to ANOTHER person.. Who happen to be checking in at the same time as me, who happen to have the same name. Pool was freezing cold, the hot tub wasn't working, there were no pool towels in the pool area. Waitined two minutes after calling out at the front desk, before someone came out. Check out was poor, still not sure if I'm checked out or not. Room was clean, spacious and bright.

We had an awesome stay! The pool, waterslide and hot tub were so fun. The only thing we were disappointed with is the breakfast was over at 9am today which I thought was way too early. Our room also had a used tissue on the floor and the shampoo and conditioner dispensers were completely empty. Not a huge deal, but something we noticed. We would for sure stay here again!!

Beautiful hotel! Amazing breakfast! But we booked for a hockey tournament and when we were told we were not able to book as a team but book individual rooms we did just that which didn’t seem like a big deal…. But then when we arrived we are to find out there is 3 other teams booked at this hotel, which is fine… but then we found out that they had the pool booked so we were unable to use the pool getting kicked out and then there was specific times we were able to let out kids swim. So we complied and worked with the staff and booking our teams times, the staff then proceeded to allow other teams into our time slots causing chaos with teams after we held out kids outta there to accommodate them and the other teams… we were told to basically suck it up. The staff is absolutely horrible and we even had one of the staff member enter a room to yell at kids were watching a movie and not causing any issues when she even stated that there was running in the hall but proceeded to go into the room rather then check the halls…. I would not recommend this hotel for any event unless you want to stay in your room permanently and be treated like trash!!!

I found the early check in very frustarting. I had a wedding at 1:30 I attempted to call weeks ahead for early check in. They kept saying they couldn’t guarantee I could get into the room before 1 and to call the day off. I called the night before and they said I could pay to check in between 12-3pm instead of the normal 4. I asked if I could for sure get into my room at 12. No they could not guarantee me. They said with the business they probably would not have room ready till 3 but to ask again the morning of. So I go to the hotel at noon hoping to check in early before the wedding. Nope because I didn’t pay the $25 the day prior they wouldn’t let me in early. I explained I wasn’t going to pay ahead of time till I knew I could get in before 1:30 they said it was too late to pay and my room would not be ready till 4. So I wasn’t able to check in till I got back from the hotel very tired at almost 2am. I would have gladly paid the $25 for early check in if it was a set time and not a chance I still wouldn’t have been able to get in before the wedding started. Wish communication was better.
