The service of all staff I encountered was personal, respectful and effective. Location is amazing. Just a few minutes from Taksim square, tucked away in a small and dead quiet cul-de-sac. Breakfast starts early -- 7 a.m. and is in the newly-refurbished 6th floor dining room with sweeping views of the Bosphorus.

This hotel was not what I expected after reading the descriptions on hotel.com. When I got the hotel key, it was three single beds instead of the three twin beds I had booked. When I inquired about this, the hotel management informed me that there were no twin beds available. A single bed in a very small room. I spent 15 nights there and had the same breakfast every day. It may use a little work. The restaurant on the 6th floor has a great view of the Bosphorus, but no one speaks English, and the only menu available online is in Turkish. Overall, the personnel is kind, although the breakfast selection should be updated, and the restaurant on the sixth level should be improved. Overall, friendly staff. Cihangir er en fantastisk område i Istanbul. Hotellet lå i et fint strøk og ble tatt godt i mot i resepsjonen. Rommet var litt for lite å brette ut kofferten men det var rent og fint. Det var gratis vann til kaffe og te. Bra mengde med variert pålegg og annet til frokost men det forandret seg dagen etterpå. Siste dagen var det masse med pålegg som trekker litt ned. Badet var ikke helt ren i min mening med flekker på søppel bøtte og vasken hadde også flekker så igjen som gjør at det trekker ned.

Tolles Hotel! Wir waren begeistert als wir in das Zimmer sind. Im 5. Geschoss war unser Zimmer, mit einem tollen Ausblick auf das Meer. Täglich wurden die Handtücher gewechselt und das Zimmer gereinigt. Unser nächstes Trip nach Istanbul wird wieder das gleiche Hotel sein. Empfehlenswert!

The entire first floor was a demolition zone when I arrived: dust and pieces of dry wall all over the floor. Reception was temporarily on the second. My first room’s heat was broken. They were very nice about quickly moving me to another room. Unfortunately the whole place smelled strongly of overly perfumed cleaning supplies masking smoke.

Balcony rooms have a nice view. Steps away to Beyoğlu and restaurants in cihangir. The orange trees were blooming nearby filling the street with beautiful perfume. My favorite place in Istanbul.

Very friendly staff. Genuinely caring and helpful. They went extra to keep our luggage for a couple of days in their storage while we were traveling to other city. Breakfasts had a rich menu with many options, and, nice and friendly staff too.

Nahe Taksim, etwas schwer zu finden aber sonst eine gute Unterkunft. Das Frühstück ist sehr einfach und keine Abwechslung, wenn man darauf wert legt, sollte man lieber auswärts Frühstücken gehen.

Cinquième séjour dans cet hôtel et toujours aussi satisfaite. Les chambres sont propres et confortables et certaines offrent une vue sur le Bosphore avec balcon. Le personnel est très aimable. L’hôtel est situé près de la place Taksim mais dans une rue calme. Le métro se trouve à 10 minutes à pied ainsi que le tram qui mène à Sultanahmet. Aussi situé à quelques minutes d’Istiklal, avenue commerçante avec de nombreux magasins et restaurants. Énormément de choix de restauration aux alentours de l’hôtel (fast-food, restaurants turcs, pâtisseries turques ou plus occidentales, de nombreuses supérettes…)

The hotel was in a bad location. Mid-way up a mountain. I was deceived into thinking the hotel had a view over the lake because the advertisement showed a view. The room was small. I booked a room with two beds and got a room with a double bed. The 2nd night we were moved to an accessible room with 2 beds. The breakfast was great. I really enjoyed this smaller boutique hotel just a few blocks away from Taksim Square and about 1 mile (or less) from the Bosphorous. It was located at the end of a street, so no traffic going by (which made it quiet). It was very close to many restaurants, shopping, banks, etc. It was clean and the front desk staff were very helpful.

Cihangir er en fantastisk område i Istanbul. Hotellet lå i et fint strøk og ble tatt godt i mot i resepsjonen. Rommet var litt for lite å brette ut kofferten men det var rent og fint. Det var gratis vann til kaffe og te. Bra mengde med variert pålegg og annet til frokost men det forandret seg dagen etterpå. Siste dagen var det masse med pålegg som trekker litt ned. Badet var ikke helt ren i min mening med flekker på søppel bøtte og vasken hadde også flekker så igjen som gjør at det trekker ned.

The service of all staff I encountered was personal, respectful and effective. Location is amazing. Just a few minutes from Taksim square, tucked away in a small and dead quiet cul-de-sac. Breakfast starts early -- 7 a.m. and is in the newly-refurbished 6th floor dining room with sweeping views of the Bosphorus.
