Rooms were nice to pull the sauna and the hot tub were fantastic. I was extremely mad that when I got there there was a fee each day for parking. I will not be returning to this hotel because of that. Other than that, the staff was nice. The other people staying there were extremely nice like I said the only thing that made me mad was the parking.

Very nice hotel, classy, clean, well mainted, looks fantastic from the outside. My only complaint is the on site parking is outrageous $35+tax/day. Park at the connecting variety store lot has lots of spots for $10/day. Literally 10 steps away.

Clean large rooms and facilities. The pool was lots of fun for the family. They did advertise that the pool was heated but in our opinion the pool was cold. Would stay again!

The room was somewhat clean. Body wash, shampoo and conditioner not refilled. We didn’t receive complimentary water, which has not been the case in the past. My son spilled juice on the carpet. When we wiped it up with a towel, the towel was black. Carpets in desperate need of cleaning. Cracked tiles in the shower. No free breakfast please provided, which we were aware of before arriving. Three floors were occupied by hockey players who were out of control and the staff did little to address. We had to leave the pool twice because of the hockey players and their parents failing to supervise them.

No heat in the room. We had to have a technician come to the room at midnight to try to fix the heater. It was only a little warmer when he finished. He left a space heater just in case. Not at all what I expected for a high end hotel! As well, not even a pen or paper in the room.

We absolutely love your hotel. The vibe is very warm and cozy. We definitely will be back! If I have maybe some negative to say, the pull out couch mattress could be better and a microwave in the room would be nice. Other than that we loved staying at DoubleTree Fallsview!

We've tried a few of the hotels at aprox. the same price range and have to say that Double Tree is the best one. Very clean, quiet and walking distance from the falls (15 min walk, from pathway near by), OLG Casino (5 min walk), and Clifton Hill (15 min walk). Staff was great! Only downfall was that the falls view room was only a partial view of the falls. Definitely would recommend

It was a riverside room but the hotel is so far you can barely see it. It was clean, and the staff were nice. They charge for parking which I think is ridiculous, it should be included. They had very limited coffee available in the room, no microwave and no fridge either.

We waited almost an hour to get our room. It was hockey tournament weekend. We got to the hotel at approximately 3:15pm. Long lineups of people checking in (including others on our team) The receptionist was extremely rude, dismissed us instantly and told us our room was not ready. It felt like we were wasting her time. We waited in the lobby and checked back after half an hour. Unfortunately we got the same person and was turned away with no explanation. I understand that rooms may not be ready, especially at an early check in. However, everyone who lined up before and after us during that hour got their rooms and cookies. We were never offered cookies neither. No one on our team had an issue with their room. We were told to wait until we got a notification by the app. Line ups were long. It took 15 minutes just to get to the reception. We were the only family waiting in the lobby. After an hour of waiting, we stopped another receptionist. It was now 4:15. Almost immediately she informed us the room was ready. When we went up, there were no signs of cleaners in the hallway or rooms being prepared. There were no apologies or explanation, we were just dismissed. It definitely felt like we were targeted and mistreated. We are a family of 5 with a toddler. We are so clueless as to why. The only reason I can think of is that we’re the only visible minority checking in. It was an hour of wasted time. I have never experienced this level of customer service at any hotel stay.

Front desk had 3 people working and all were busy doing some sort of paperwork so instead of being available for actual customers right in front them they kept right on doing their paperwork and made a line of people wait over 5 minutes. Quite frustrating.

The property is beautiful - lodge styling and looks well maintained. Front desk staff were courteous and didn’t give me any trouble with questions or luggage storage. We stayed in a fallsview room on the 19th (top) floor and the view didn’t disappoint. Breakfast in the restaurant on the 2nd floor was good and not too pricey (not included in stay) and there was a small Starbucks area in the lobby to sit and grab a coffee or small snack. Hotel is conveniently located near a Blue line WEGO bus as well as good food options and not a long walk from Clifton Hill or the falls. Only issue is coming back up the steep hills so wear comfortable shoes. Didn’t get to try the spa amenities but I’d stay here again honestly.

The staff were nice and the hotel was comfortable and clean! However, I would not stay here again because it is too far away from the falls and the "short walk" is about 12 minutes through littered old parking lots and people asking for money and laying on the streets. We were often the only people walking towards the falls. We were sure to be back at the hotel before dusk because there is no security or anyone else walking towards the hotel.

We both loved every aspect of our stay at the Doubletree. Celebrating our 40th anniversary there, we were fortunate to get a suite on the top floor, which provided a great view of the American falls and many of the sites in the area. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean, and quiet! And the elevator was impressively fast! Although the breakfast was not free with the room, the prices were reasonable, the food was of excellent quality, and the service provided was attentive and considerate. Staff consistently were helpful and thoughtful, and the lobby was a welcoming, comfortable setting. We also appreciated how much was in walking distance from the hotel, getting to the falls or the downtown area within 15 minutes, and to many restaurants and other hotels even more quickly. A minor quibble is that, since we needed to use laundry facilities, the laundry area had only a single washer and dryer available. In all, we would very happily return to the Doubletree Fallsview for our next trip to Niagara Falls.
