Trevlig incheckning med vacker blomma, varma handdukar och saft. Fint område - grönt och blommigt. Skönt att kunna gå på plattmark. Första rummet vi bodde i, var ganska stort - helt ok men inte något speciellt. Gillade inte inredningsstilen, men vacker balkong med textiler. Det andra rummet (dag3) var riktigt trevligt (familyroom) Flera pooler, varav en av dem var vår favorit och med en trevlig bar i vattnet. Svårt att få solstolar, blev snabbt uppbokade. Restaurangen Black Ginger var verkligen en upplevelse, med flotte som drogs över en sjö, vi tog en meny för två, dyrt och gott. Synd att vin är så dyrt i Thailand. Annars mycket nöjda!

Stunning environment, beautifully appointed room, fantastic range of bars and restaurants both within and without the resort. Happy staff always smiling, very responsive front desk via the app, scrumptious breakfast choices, great pools, and the sound of the jungle all night long. Absolutely loved it, for a resort built in 2007 it is in very good condition and well maintained. We'll go back without any doubt. The only thing not to like would be the insane spa pricing, but with so many choices for being pampered on and around the beach it is no great loss.

Gym was well equipped and clean. Everything could be ordered using an app which made requests easy. A big resort but it was beautiful and felt quiet. 7 minutes from stepping into car until arrival at airport.

This was our sixth stay at The Slate, and once again we loved the hotel and its friendly staff. A few minor points: dinner at Tin Mine was disappointing and not up to its usual standard, the gym is slightly worn and could use updates like new treadmills, and the “adults-only” pool had limited seating, with many loungers reserved by absent guests. A simple system where loungers are assigned at check-in could improve this. Overall, we were very satisfied and will definitely return.

Pool villa room was lovely. Very spacious and bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Amazing outdoor rooltop bath. Great pool areas, good lounger availability and amenities throughout the resort

Excellent resort, stayed for 5 nights. Beautiful decor, room, lovely staff, restaurants that served top quality (in any international city) & varied food. Adults only pool options x2, great happy hours & pool service, but good for kids & families too. Pearl suite was massive with his/ hers massage tables set up & enormous balcony & luxurious touches. Felt remote, very secure, but straight out onto a lovely local village with good (but not crazy) beach vibe, lots of local restaurant options, bars on beach, massage etc. Stayed at 4x 5 star hotels across 3 weeks in Phuket and this was our unexpected favourite! Great first stop from airport (close) after long flight too.

Absolutely an amazing resort in Phuket. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The rooms are spacious and well decorated with cozy couches, and a seating area on the balcony as well as a soak tub. 2 min walk to the beach with a ton of restaurants, massage parlors, and shops on the strip. Must book a reservation at Black Ginger restaurant, Rivet Restaurant, and the brunch they host on Sundays. They also do a BBQ on Wednesday nights so reserve that as well. I'm leaving 10lbs heavier because all of the food was to die for including the buffet breakfast. They have their own app in which you can reserve everything from excursions to their cooking classes, spa, and even order room service. The pools are amazing and I'm glad that they emphasize a no-reserve beach chair policy so everyone can use the facility without people being selfish & inconsiderate of others. The hotel also has great wifi. It’s a super quiet resort so if you're looking to relax and eat some amazing food then this is the place. They have shuttles to the mall and night market at certain times and days as well. The mall also has a great food court with tons of food options even a supermarket if you want to pick up a few items for your stay. Overall, I had an amazing experience and will definitely be back sooner than later.

WOW, we had the best honeymoon stay at The Slate. After a really poor experience at Avista Grande Karon despite positive reviews, we were a little sceptical in the lead up to driving to The Slate. But from check in to check out, we had an incredible experience. Staff are super attentive, the breakfast spread is delectable and the grounds are stunning. There are 3 pools (family, adult & quiet), all kept clean and easy to get a subbed (an issue we experienced at the previous hotel). There are lots of activities including badminton, archery, tennis etc. The gym is also very modern and has all the equipment you would need for a great workout. The beach is close by with some street food stalls and massage places, roughly 300 baht for a foot massage which is similar to other areas in Phuket/Bangkok. The airport is only a 10min drive away. Overall, I would highly recommend The Slate!

The Slate is like a village with great greenary, smiling staff and several choices of bars and restaurants. The lobby area and breakfast rooms are really nice and contemporary designed. The balconies really pretty; the textiles and pillows. The interior design of the rooms is not my personal style at all, but it's clean, tidy and the rooms are big and everything worked well. A super-plus to staff and the food an experience of restaurant Black Ginger. Wow!!

Property was beautiful and well maintained. Room could have been cleaner and pool in the room was dirty and cold most of the time. Mosquitos were just next next level. Daughter had 20+ bites in the first night. Had to request sprays and candles to help reduce them. Sadly nothing really worked.

I really wanted to like this place but i just cant. The hotels own facilities are very well maintained but the rooms are not. We had to change room on our first night because of the power kept going on/off. Doors, windows etc. Are not sealed allowing bugs to enter the rooms. Sheets are ripped, and things in the bathroom are not properly fixed and is loose. This is NOT a five star hotel. Trashcans, ashtrays around the facility didnt get emptied daily and it just felt like too much of a task for the staff to keep the hotel up and running. Breakfast is also not good. Its way too commercial and you feel like one of many as a guest here. We came from Devasom in Khao Lak which is a real 5 star hotel with 5 star treatment. This is not.

Das Hotel ist immer noch sehr schön aber auch teuer. Zimmerservice nicht immer optimal , 3 x war um 16.00 das Zimmer noch nicht geputzt. Trinkwasser hat gefehlt. Wir waren schon das vierte Mal in diesem Hotel. Die Lage ist sehr gut mit einem kleinen Dorf in der Nähe mit Restaurants.

5年前に利用して、また泊まりと思い、予約しました。 やはり良かった。 部屋の掃除も素晴らしく、ホスピタリティは抜群に良い。 プールでのんびり過ごすことが出来た。 フルーツのサービスもあり、ドリンクサービスのトークンがもらえ、一杯無料で提供してもらえる。 毎回来て、蚊に何箇所か刺されるのはお土産にします。 ホテル全体いい香り。スタッフも笑顔。 今回はオリジナルグッズも購入しました。(ボディスプレーなど) 周囲のビーチ沿いにレストランも多くファミマもある。 また、是非利用したいと思っています。次回はプールヴィラで！

Det andra rummet (dag3) var riktigt trevligt (familyroom) Flera pooler, varav en av dem var vår favorit och med en trevlig bar i vattnet. Svårt att få solstolar, blev snabbt uppbokade. Restaurangen Black Ginger var verkligen en upplevelse, med flotte som drogs över en sjö, vi tog en meny för två, dyrt och gott. Synd att vin är så dyrt i Thailand. Annars mycket nöjda!

This hotel is breathtaking. The staff are beyond friendly and accommodating. The room I stayed in was the Pearl Bed Suite and it was absolutely beautiful. I also booked transfers to and from the airport and they were prompt and kind. I will be staying at The Slate when I visit Phuket again!

A very strange hotel. Parts of beautiful, the rooms are a bit too over engineered. The air con was useless. Nice balcony. It’s good for a couple of nights before you fly out but no more. The beach is lovely and accessible direct from the bottom of the hotel

The Slate Hotel in Phuket is a luxury resort. I had a wonderful stay here, the spa and restaurant facilities are excellent. The breakfast buffet is especially impressive. Staff are extremely friendly, polite and quick to respond to any queries. I had a great stay and would definitely come back. Only thing I would change is the pillows in the bedroom - they are all quite soft and flat.

The Slate is like a village with great greenary, smiling staff and several choices of bars and restaurants. The lobby area and breakfast rooms are really nice and contemporary designed. The balconies really pretty; the textiles and pillows. The interior design of the rooms is not my personal style at all, but it's clean, tidy and the rooms are big and everything worked well. A super-plus to staff and the food an experience of restaurant Black Ginger. Wow!!

Excellent resort, stayed for 5 nights. Beautiful decor, room, lovely staff, restaurants that served top quality (in any international city) & varied food. Adults only pool options x2, great happy hours & pool service, but good for kids & families too. Pearl suite was massive with his/ hers massage tables set up & enormous balcony & luxurious touches. Felt remote, very secure, but straight out onto a lovely local village with good (but not crazy) beach vibe, lots of local restaurant options, bars on beach, massage etc. Stayed at 4x 5 star hotels across 3 weeks in Phuket and this was our unexpected favourite! Great first stop from airport (close) after long flight too.

Beautiful, huge property in charming Nai Yang. We stayed in the D Buk Family suite which was perfect for our 16 year old who had a large curtained bed, making it feel like she had her own space. For some reason there is a full length mirror in on the door of the toilet so you have to see yourself sitting there. The large tub is nice in theory, but there isn’t really any hot water so it is only for those who like cold baths.

WOW, we had the best honeymoon stay at The Slate. After a really poor experience at Avista Grande Karon despite positive reviews, we were a little sceptical in the lead up to driving to The Slate. But from check in to check out, we had an incredible experience. Staff are super attentive, the breakfast spread is delectable and the grounds are stunning. There are 3 pools (family, adult & quiet), all kept clean and easy to get a subbed (an issue we experienced at the previous hotel). There are lots of activities including badminton, archery, tennis etc. The gym is also very modern and has all the equipment you would need for a great workout. The beach is close by with some street food stalls and massage places, roughly 300 baht for a foot massage which is similar to other areas in Phuket/Bangkok. The airport is only a 10min drive away. Overall, I would highly recommend The Slate!

You should do something to a guy who works at the gym. I was looking for "ondigo gym"where my kid was scheduled to join a kids dance class. When i came across him and asked if it was the right place for the kids program, he almost yelled at me. I do not kniw whats wrong with him. His voice was naturally very loud, or did he think i was deaf? Eitherway, i felt quite offended. He must be a trainer(instructor) or a coach. Why dont you teach him some manners?

Everything about this property is wonderful. My family spent a week here over the holidays and could not have had a better time. The property itself is flawless, with very attentive staff, lots of amenities, and even compelling youth activities (not just coloring/crafts). The location across the street from a magnificent beach is very ideal as you can hit the sand and return to a different world inside the property. The dining options were all very good. The excursions you can book through the hotel are wonderful, and very professionally run. We definitely look to return to this property in the future!

Check in à 16h30 au lieu de 14h suite à un problème électrique ; problème avec les serveurs pour un repas en attendant (plat pas dispo, plat oublié etc). Donc demi journée compliquée. Le manager de l'hôtel (Français) William est intervenu et a parfaitement géré la situation (merci à lui pour sa gentillesse). Il nous a permis le denier jour de continuer de profiter des équipements de l'hôtel avant de repartir à l'aéroport. Les petits déjeuners sont toujours au top et les décorations de l'hôtel toujours très jolies. Nous y avons séjourné il y a 6 ans et si je peux me permettre, je conseillerais de revoir certains éléments : Les réparations diverses sur l'établissement sont mal faites (toitures diverses avec trous ou colles blanches dans les tuiles ; certains bords cimentés piscine 2 ; la piscine 1 à refaire impératif : elle est en très mauvais état). Checkez rideaux et housses matelas balcons (il y a des taches ou des trous) Changez la cible de fléchettes au bar elle est en mauvais état. Le restaurant black ginger : pas assez de viandes dans les plats proposés ; et remettez de l'exigence sur les cocktails (le ginger mojito d'il y a 6 ans avec fumée dans le verre était magnifique et là tout simple : trop dommage) Le TOP : nous vous conseillons fortement d'aller faire le cours de cuisine au moos kitchen ; un super super moment passé avec MAM la cheffe ; allez y le ventre creux !!! Allez à la salle de gym elle est vraiment très sympa.

This property was perfect from the moment. I stepped onto the property, talking to the receptionist at the front desk to the moment that I left to leave to go to the airport the food, the room, the pool the people I felt so safe. Me and my boyfriend absolutely loved this resort. It is near a popular walking street so you can wash clothes, ride bikes, get food, coffee, exchange money, gifts etc... the buffet breakfast is absolutely amazing with lots of variety. the hotel room was beautiful as well as the property; properly maintained everyday. Pools are amazing, and the beach is beautiful. Only downfall I would say is it is far from popular tourist destination's like Bangala road, excursions to phi phi etc everything is pretty much an hour away. But overall, absolutely stunning place and would stay again.

This is a great property to spend a holiday without the noise and the busy crowds of Patong. However, the very same location is the reason for inconvenience since you have to travel atleast an hour to get anywhere significant in Phuket. But the amenities in the resort were wonderful and we had a great time. Staff was very responsive and helpful. The busy beach area around the resort was a turn off and it made the area look dirty. Overall, the resort was good but you need to plan travel to your destination well ahead to make your stay better.

We stayed at the Slate towards the end of our trip to be close to the airport for an early flight. It was very easy to get to the airport but also a stunning hotel with beautiful calm pools and some amazing restaurants. It was really easy also to walk down to the beach to go to local restaurants and shops. Overall a fantastic stay thank you!

This was our sixth stay at The Slate, and once again we loved the hotel and its friendly staff. A few minor points: dinner at Tin Mine was disappointing and not up to its usual standard, the gym is slightly worn and could use updates like new treadmills, and the “adults-only” pool had limited seating, with many loungers reserved by absent guests. A simple system where loungers are assigned at check-in could improve this. Overall, we were very satisfied and will definitely return.

The slate is one of the best resorts in all of Phuket. We have been to many different places here and the Slate has it all. From Black Ginger to the cooking classes this place is absolutely wonderful. Beautiful resort with every amenity you could ask for! With this beauty and service comes a price tag that is expensive for Thailand standards but still somewhat affordable. The breakfast is a delight and the service is perfect from check in to servers and working staff everyone is top notch. Great place for families and couples alike.

From Black Ginger to the cooking classes this place is absolutely wonderful. Beautiful resort with every amenity you could ask for! With this beauty and service comes a price tag that is expensive for Thailand standards but still somewhat affordable. The breakfast is a delight and the service is perfect from check in to servers and working staff everyone is top notch. Great place for families and couples alike.

We loved the variety of tailored activities, and The Rivet restaurant served one of the best tomahawk steak we’ve ever had. Special thanks to Boom and Gift for their exceptional service. Drinks at the bars were also top-notch. A special shoutout to the staff and airport driver who went above and beyond to return my forgotten phone to me at the airport just in time for our flight. That level of care truly sets The Slate apart. Highly recommended!

An interesting hotel definitely with designer touch. Close to the beach, beach is lovely with a number of eateries on the beach and restaurants on the main road. Number of mini markets which is handy. Regarding hotel, we found the design a bit dark and depressing at times, but that’s our taste for some people it’s fine. Staff was okay, showed us the app for the hotel.

The resort is very well maintained, we arrived at the "off-season" therefore we saw all the cleaning, grass trimming and maintenance work being done. It was a great stay, we enjoyed the room and the facilities. The exploration center is great and provides various activities. Breakfast was rich and tasty. Staff was friendly and help out in all issues.
